I was on Triton for a week of sea-trials in 2001 (ish). We got to +-17 degrees of roll. Very lively when the outriggers get kicked back up!

Interesting, Thank You Looks like a versetile design .There would be some interesting design compromises because of the narrowness of the hulls , but you would have a stabile platform and shallow draft

Not sure how much of a deterrent she could be with her "profile". She looks like a pregnant Shark to me...but maybe she's still hungry. Ok I'll admit it. I love her but don't want to seem too eager. Wow 7 tons of fuel a day. As a lubber I had to convert that. It's 2200 gallons (mas o menos) or $11,000 a day to go 288 nautical miles. It's not quite as bad as it sounds because it converts to 331 statue miles (you know the ones Jesus or Rob Zombie intended us to use). But anyway you it" still going to set you back $35 a mile.
. But I also know she's considered quite fuel efficient...still I can't halp wondering how she'd perform at 9 knots. I believe she has variable pitch drive units. I know she's diesel electric and they got a bad rep due ti inneffiency 60 years ago but the tech has improved dramatically. And another way of looking at it is fuel cost is $990,000 dollars to go around the world. A lot of people could swing that. What a trip that would be. Plus she's got 50 cal mounts and Royal Navy cred. th-cam.com/video/YCnKefKbyGE/w-d-xo.html
