Still coming from a season of 1-11, and still have a lot of chemistry building with the fact you bing in 80+ players to a bigger conference new coaches new environment WAY MORE attention. “NOT BUILD FOR THE MOMENT” is all of that in sum.

I will say this for Deion, he gives the most honest interviews of any college or pro coach I've ever heard. Most coaches are so full of it and just give the "company line" never wanting to tell it like it truly is. Deion doesn't have that in him. He's 100% all the time and it's so refreshing.

This is a hard one. In my opinion this will determine who truly believes or just pretending. This game should humble the entire team ( Top to bottom)..A 29 point choke, players and coaches going at it, and failure to make personnel adjustments. A bye week contrary to Coach Prime opinion, is needed. Living with this for a week will determine who's in or out going forward. Coach Prime was truly hurt by this lost. If this hurt doesn't motivate and generate the same love Coach Prime has for football from his players, CU has a major issue going forward.

They are right where they should be, if not a little behind by what scouts think of the players on Colorado. I can’t say this cause it’s 2023 but Colorado is full of thugs and morons. A lot of them are soft and flat out losers. Shadeur sanders is currently the most overrated player in football and only idiots and young kids support him. Not just that, their corners are stuck in molasses and their o-line is a wall of paper. And Sanders made every wrong decision the second he felt pressure. You can come in with all the bluster and promotion and sunglasses and ya-ya-ya. As a random person on the internet, it was fairly obvious from the beginning their defense was severely lacking. Sanders has the ability to promote like no other coach in college. He can build an amazing program in CO with his ability to market his players, so I really hope Coach Prime is able to look at the program objectively, rethink his QB lineup, and put a much stronger emphasis on recruiting defense. I'm rooting for him and hope he's able to create a legacy in CO. But he's got a much longer way to go than I think he initially realized.

This is the brutal loss that this team unfortunately needed as a lesson. Never let up on your opponent and keep your foot on the gas, coaches included. This happened because of their immaturity as a team. It’s growing pains. It also exposed fatal flaws at every level and position on both side of the ball be it bad habits, lack of tackling, bad decision making, including coaching. I love Coach Prime and I know he is giving his whole heart into this huge task but this has to be a defining moment for the team to not only talk about character but actually walk the walk because when it’s the trying time is even when it’s truly revealed.

Plus, with all the extra stuff they do as far as social media showing all the swag you have to be able to back it up. That’s what made the Miami teams of old so great. Besides the fact they had great players but they could and would back up the talk. They need to make it a point of emphasis to go after linemen on BOTH sides of the ball.

I'm at 1 maybe 2 making the roster but I don't believe starting. Just like last years team vs. this years team. There will be a huge roster overhaul. Difference being they have a full year of recruiting to go after the big boys who will have impacts on both side of the line in later part of 2024 season, and for sure in the 2025 season. Then we have the Portal in December. Last year CU got a bunch of people both most of those people weren't starters once you exclude the JSU people. This year there will be some Starters on both sides of the ball coming, and some of those will be big boys in the trenches for immediate impact next year.

I was at the game, left stunned. Seen it once before years ago vs. Oregon State. Momentum in college football is incredible. IMO the game shifted after Mata missed the FG. Don’t like going for it twice on 4th down, the play calls were terrible. In double OT, 2nd and a foot, run a QB sneak. The referees were blind in the end. It’s unfortunate now the Buffs need to pull off a couple of upsets, with our defense not sure it’s possible. Been a buffs fan my entire life and I’m still so excited about the future.
