Coach Prime is the perfect combination of flash & substance, of old school & new school. He HAD TO serve notice not necessarily on those Colorado players, but on the obvious spirit of mediocrity that many there have accepted! Everyone wants the end result, but few are accepting of embracing the “break down” period necessary before things can be built back up to perform better. Best believe that those who don’t cry and run off, that embrace the breakdown time will in time be enjoying fun times with Coach Prime.

But not that the smoke is starting to clear I can see why he left..and it was more so for his son to play at a power 5 and the money-not just for him but his coaches as well.
Cause he’s a sellout. He told them to come to his school and he would coach them. Some high recruits went there for him instead of other schools and now he just dips? Sure they can transfer, but some of them already have and they cant do it again without effect their college football career. Ended up he was basically telling them to leave before he forced them to leave. Haven’t heard much positive praise for him since the season ended. Many of the players from the last season said they were virtually ignored compared to the players he brought in. I’m fine with what his vision is, but it wasn’t fair to the players to give them false hope and then cut them in a blindsiding meeting that lasts less than 5 min.
Imagine you THOUGHT you were the starting QB for next year (before your coach got fired) and now you're sitting there listening to this. That has to be a crushing feeling if you know you're just "so so."

I have no idea what was going on with Colorado football before Deion arrived but those kids had a look on their faces as if they have accepted not winning and having fun and I suspect other coaches who coached there only did so for a paycheck because the body language some of those kids displayed just said losing is acceptable and I guess they chose Colorado because they had no other offers but that facility is beautiful so I have no idea how they couldn't get kids there to play.
Now like Deion said not only am I gonna show up but Imma show out and that's what he did when he played.

Then Deion told them they are pretty much unwanted, and he wants to get rid of them.. and try to make them quit. I think Deion wants to bring in his own players.. If I were on that current team.. I would hit the portal and find a better place to play.. A place where you are appreciated and play for a coach that wants you there.
