The way Deon Sanders is as a man is priceless. Outside of football he really a man of God. His kids are as well. This man has 2 Superbowl rings played in the World Series. Coached high school and won a state high school championship as a coach. Went to the SWAC "HBCU" and won the SWAC championship as a coach. Took the Head Coaching job from a team that went 1-11 and now they 3-0. Only Coach to see his oldest son take it back to the house on a pick 6 and then his other son at QB dominated. And this man lost 2 toes and he still here. Coach Prime is a good man

The fact that Dion addresses all the reporters as “sir” and the mutual respect the reporters give him. You can hear a pin drop behind the person speaking. Huge respect! Confidence and respect, the makeup of a true man. Dion is that! I have never seen a press conference lke this.

As a mother I would let any of my kids play for this man. He is setting these kids up for greatness outside of football. It takes a village and we need people with this mindset in our young peoples lives.

I love that Deion Sanders pointed out the lack of coverage of the HBCU games. As a mother who was very nervous about my son playing football, I would be comfortable with my son playing with a coaching staff like this! Play with integrity. Stating that the health of the players is more important than the game & following that with actions!
Coach Prime be spitting facts. He wants the coverage so that institutions AND players can get their flowers. That doesn't mean it's a cake walk or just given because you have to do the work and he's showing that if you are willing to put in the work and do your job he's willing to do the same for you. In the past in underserved communities hard work just got you the necessities and the system did not allow for "equal opportunity." That's different with Coach Prime. You can work hard, and do the right things, and win on and off the field. He does this with humility, with respect, and is showing his players AND staff how to do things right. Football as Coach Prime say, is just a tool and it's a tool he knows very well. He loves coaching his "kids", and I mean kids as his players. He wants his kids to succeed in life, especially the 95% that won't go pro to the NFL.
I was so glad he said what he said. People act like these guys just became talented. They’ve BEEN talented it’s just that the media doesn’t give HBCUs their credit.
As a nation we need to get back to this style of demeanor, work ethic, respect, and dedication to success. Thanks coach for setting an example for these young men and others!

When was the last time CU was televised for four straight weeks. If they somehow beat Oregon this week, they will be the hottest team in the nation. Jackson, Mississippi was getting the same attention and the establishment couldn’t let that continue to happen. Unfortunately, he bailed on us and can’t blame him for chasing the money. We good though bc our football history is greater than Colorado ‘s history.

3 things I noted: 1. He started the presser off apologizing for perhaps being a few min later than expected. 2. He gave someone in the room mad respect for what they do and that was flat out in the middle of another topic he was addressing. 3. The video is ending and he asks someone how their parents are doing and that he said hello. For someone as accomplished as he is…he is very engaging and he stays true to to his morals and beliefs…no matter how uncomfortable it may make others. Witnessing something rare here ppl…
The other thing I noticed was when asked about their offensive production, his answer was “it’s an everything” didn’t call out any player or coach, it was all about WE as a team!! This is special to watch 🤘🏼

I lived near Atlanta back in Deion's playing days and he was always a bright spot with the Falcons and the Braves. We loved him back then for his spirit and his playing ability. But now we are getting to know Deion the man, and what a man we are discovering that he is!

Most of them are not worthy of playing at top levels. His son sure and about 13 players that left sure all 85 of them nope. Most don’t want to play at mac schools and sun belt so they chose to play there. Most of them won’t make it to the nfc level

Say whatever you will, Prime handled this with respect towards the media and that's hard to do post game. He addresses everyone with respect and he made sure to acknowledge the women in the room. Yes he has a chip on his shoulder, that's his edge. That's what he uses as motivation. This was not a pretty win and there is a lot to be upset about, yet he was respectful and answered the questions thoroughly. You won't get that from most coaches in his position. He even paid respect to the opposing coach....I wouldn't have.
Colorado state dominated that game and gave it away off of stupid penalties. Colorado offense line is horrible and got exposed. And disciplined team will pick this team apart
CU football is the biggest story in sports this year and we need to thank Coach Prime for that ! His professionalism and showmanship is beyond measure, his care for his team is outstanding, he understands that his team is not perfect he recognizes his weaknesses and he does not shy away from the truth.

The way he addresses every reporter with "How are you, Sir/Ma'am?" before his responses is such a overlooked quality that shows a tremendous amount of respect. You can tell he's not only preparing these kids for greatness, but they are also adding to his own. From a die hard USC/Eagles fan, much respect to Coach Sanders on building a program that is as beneficial as it is entertaining to watch.
Every game from this point will feel like it needs to be nationally televised and i can't think of time i ever felt this way about any team before Prime came along

I think it's safe to say never has a team gone from nobody to must see TV in such a short time. Last year, they won just one game and I don't think anybody outside the state of Colorado cared. That's the effect Deion has had. And it's not just a style thing; they're winning and they have lots of future NFL players on their roster. This is a style meets substance kinda thing.

I've watched CF for 32 years and have never seen a QB with quicker hands. He throws the ball so fast! His accuracy and control of the ball is something else.

Even if Colorado loses several games this season there's great story here. DS has taken a 1-11 team and made them a force to be reckoned with in the FBS. He's done that in about 6 months, that's the point.
The really refreshing thing is the “respect” Deion has for his players, coaches, and most importantly the opponents. Don’t get me wrong. He can talk trash with anyone. However, when the game is over he has nothing but respect for everyone. He appreciates the game. He really understands passion. He harnesses that passion as well as anyone else. He really is an exceptional coach. He motivates his players, coaches, and even the fans. Those students LOVE him. That is unusual for a brand new coach.

As a mother who was very nervous about my son playing football, I would be comfortable with my son playing with a coaching staff like this! Play with integrity. Stating that the health of the players is more important than the game & following that with actions!

Coach Prime be spitting facts. He wants the coverage so that institutions AND players can get their flowers. That doesn't mean it's a cake walk or just given because you have to do the work and he's showing that if you are willing to put in the work and do your job he's willing to do the same for you. In the past in underserved communities hard work just got you the necessities and the system did not allow for "equal opportunity." That's different with Coach Prime. You can work hard, and do the right things, and win on and off the field. He does this with humility, with respect, and is showing his players AND staff how to do things right. Football as Coach Prime say, is just a tool and it's a tool he knows very well. He loves coaching his "kids", and I mean kids as his players. He wants his kids to succeed in life, especially the 95% that won't go pro to the NFL.

Say whatever you will, Prime handled this with respect towards the media and that's hard to do post game. He addresses everyone with respect and he made sure to acknowledge the women in the room. Yes he has a chip on his shoulder, that's his edge. That's what he uses as motivation. This was not a pretty win and there is a lot to be upset about, yet he was respectful and answered the questions thoroughly. You won't get that from most coaches in his position. He even paid respect to the opposing coach....I wouldn't have.

You can tell he's not only preparing these kids for greatness, but they are also adding to his own. Even if Colorado loses several games this season there's great story here. DS has taken a 1-11 team and made them a force to be reckoned with in the FBS. He's done that in about 6 months, that's the point.
The really refreshing thing is the “respect” Deion has for his players, coaches, and most importantly the opponents. Don’t get me wrong. He can talk trash with anyone. However, when the game is over he has nothing but respect for everyone. He appreciates the game. He really understands passion. He harnesses that passion as well as anyone else. He really is an exceptional coach. He motivates his players, coaches, and even the fans. Those students LOVE him. That is unusual for a brand new coach.
This really feels like the most positive cult I’ve ever been apart of….hard work, love, dedication, respect…I’m telling you he is life coaching AMERICA 🇺🇸 and WE NEED IT DESPERATELY

I went to bed at halftime and honestly thought CS had the momentum to win. They were playing like pit bulls. Dirty hits, fouls, the kind of stuff that makes champions tbh. Then to wake up and see it went into 2 OT’s and they won? Omg!!! This is a championship team. To be down and come back like that? To endure all the dirty plays and come back swinging! Just the mental toughness to be able to do that is rare. I wish they would give Michael Harrison more props. 4th year. Off the bench. Went from WR to TE and he SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT! Congrats Coach Prime and team! This is what legends are made of!

I had fallen asleep. When I read the final score, I was confused. Then I read it again and I started screaming. I looked at the highlights & grinned & smiled. Coach Prime is a such a HUMBLE man.
I went to bed and thought, let me believe and visualize this win. And then they did it. Should have done that for the giants today too lol
I went to bed around the 3 quarter. I prayed for them and this country. Could barely wait to check the score this am.

I love how he reiterate he had those plays when the nation was not looking when he was at an HBCU. Thanks coach for keep responding and letting people know there is more talent at these HBCUs than the powers that be want you to know, and I’ll call them out like the Mel kippers, and Todd Mcshay of the world. Example if we watch teams like ND and Alabama every week of course they go get they shine.
Prime didn’t sugar coat nothing in this interview. I can watch his type of post game interviews. He holds his team accountable and himself.
He left out how much the boosters and Aflac paid the refs to hand them that game. Those were the most biased officials to ever call a football game.
