Switzerland was absolutely ravishing. She was beauty with brains, then Bob Barker came along acting like a sexist dick trying to belittle her. She was the clear winner in my opinion. The rest were competing for finalist spots. I'm referring to Venezuela, Singapore, New Zealand, Italy, Brazil and USA. I never understood the high placements of Ireland and England.
Miss Philippines 🇵🇭 Cita Capuyon was Number 13 in this semi final Swimsuit of Ms Universe 1983 in Missouri USA...followed by Ms. Ireland 🇮🇪, Ms. Singapore 🇸🇬 and Ms. Spain 🇪🇸 who were Semifinal Swimsuit Number 14, 15 and 16 respectively, suddenly on the night of the pageant the 3 bottom candidates get pulled up to Top 10😖 ( this info were based on Wikileaks 😝😊)

I agree the score was flashed anyway. I also noticed Germany was not in this swimsuit fashion round. How come she made it to top 10? In some of the editions I saw the late comers are not eligible to compete. They allowed to join just for pa-consuelo.
There were some others missing as well: I believe Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Trinidad/Tobago. I suspect the clip with them was simply not shown as an oversight.
That's a good observation. However, this clip was just a fashion swimsuit shoot to show all of the contestants and their swimsuit scores and promote sites to visit. The official swimsuit preliminary was held at the auditorium, just as with evening gowns, where the judging and scoring took place. It maybe that Miss Germany was ill during the filming of this swimsuit video shoot, and this happens sometimes.
@skylarvlogp702 Obviously Miss Germany made it in time for the preliminary competition, otherwise she would be missing a score (interview/swimsuit/gown) to make up her average score for a chance for the semifinals.
