Nice! Sounds good. I was shopping the r400 but ended up with the borla s-type. My buddy has r400 on his wrx and it would drone a bit but still sounded good.
@@SawceBawse89 it’s great, similar overall sound to the r400 but a little more contained. They did not lie in marketing when they stated it’s “drone free” because it definitely is. Great for daily driving, I would prefer something louder for a weekend car
It’s really not that bad in my opinion. With that being said, it does sound pretty aggressive and it’s just what I wanted to bring out that classic Subie rumble. 100% recommend.
@@tb6516 yes, if you’re running the COBB intake you’ll definitely need their accessport to run their OTS tunes. Ultimately though, a Pro tune will always be your best bet for reliability.
@@SawceBawse89 I found out that my 2021 sti has a Cobb air intake. I bought it from a dealer and they told me it was stock… I found air intake and my car doesn’t have a tune and now I’m worried. It’s been fine so far. But I didn’t know about it and the dealer didn’t tell me

Stock j-pipe too? Or just a stock downpipe? Does it pop a lot when you drive
Stock downpipe for now. Only pops occasionally when I downshift from 3rd to 2nd and it’s not even that loud in the cabin.
Did you have any trouble with the fitment ?
No issues with fitment

Correct-Stock STI, just catback R400. The black tips are sweet, but I have the titanium tips (kinda hard to see with the angle I filmed at).

How’s the drone on the highway like going 75? I have muffler deletes and it’s just a touch too loud for me lmao.
I usually stay around 70 during my daily commute and it’s not bad in my opinion.
