Man targeted by follow-home robbers who led police pursuit through SoCal

- Two suspects who led police on a lengthy pursuit through Orange and Los Angeles counties Wednesday are believed to be connected to a follow-home robbery in Rancho Cucamonga. The victim visited a Chase bank on Tuesday and withdrew around $2,000 in cash from the ATM for a birthday party.
He drove to his parents’ Rancho Cucamonga home and entered the house, leaving the cash inside his car. That’s when he suddenly heard his car alarm go off. “He said, ‘As soon as I sat down, I heard the alarm go off,’” the victim’s mother recalled. “He said, ‘My car was broken into!'"

Always remember to look in your mirrors and make sure you are not followed. Especially when you’re leaving the bank, stores etc..
And if you ARE being followed, drive to a police or fire station, park, do not get out of the car, and call 911.

You might want to actually watch the video from the news chopper. It clearly showed the Sheriff's chopper actively following the suspect vehicle. Not much they can do when it pulls under a massive overpass and hides. Not going to disagree with you on the politics that Law Enforcement has to deal with, but they can only do what is safe and allowed.

Police will do this, if they feel it too risky for the innocent people to be doing a high speed chase. The suspect was by LAX, and also hid under the overpass and made several moves that the helicopters couldn’t see. Being by the airport they were very close to restricted air space as well. The top priority for these chases is safety.

Man, I watched this and the make it sound like it was real chase. The cops let this lady driving the SUV go for hours at the normal speed. They were literally just doing u turns on the same two streets and the cops told the news crew that they were not concerned with the driver.

According to local and state politicians crime is down in California. Either this is a mistake or maybe a Republican conspiracy to make state democrats look bad? What are the politicians trying to do? The state has strict firearm rules for law abiding citizens who want to defend themselves, but soft penalties for criminals. Both carrying a concealed firearm without a permit and possession of a stolen firearm are both misdemeanors. A misdemeanor is a big deal to someone law abiding, but it’s nothing to a career criminal.
