    Is this by any chance a French instrument ?
    I'm no so familiar with the sound myself, but I guess it would suit.

      ​@@maanavswaminathan4593 I play a modern German bassoon and that is either a very bad player or a french bassoon 😂 bassoon doesn't mean bassoon u gotta be specific 😂

I don’t think that specificity is exactly necessary in this situation taking the question into consideration. French bassoons and German bassoons are not very different in terms of sound produced. While there are slight nuances in the sounds, they are extremely similar, so saying that the player is either very bad or on a French bassoon doesn’t make much sense. It would sound similar on either version of the instrument.

      @@maanavswaminathan4593 as someone who plays bassoon a french and German Bassoon is a HUGE difference! Just the sound alone! Of course it's a difference!
