    6:48 DAMN. For a piano of this size, that is incredible bass.

    I really enjoy how informative your videos are. I’m here in NYC. Thanks for sharing with us.

    I can't remember which video you mentioned the Feurich having a 5 year warranty but it's actually 10 now. I spoke to Stuart Calaghan to confirm.

    Thank you for sharing so much technical information on the Feurich pianos. Do you know much in terms of build quality about how they compare to the Fridolin Schimmel? Thanks.

    Yamaha has plastic on the black keys. I am not sure about Feurich though. Is it a real wood or other synthetic?

    • @4dventur35
      @4dventur35 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Real wood. I have a 125 it feels a lot more natural than synthetic keys

      @@4dventur35 Awesome. Does the black color fade over time?

    • @4dventur35
      @4dventur35 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@antimon40 I'm not sure I only got my Feurich 125 in January, the wooden keys have a faded look to them already, but that's because its natural wood. it looks and feels alot better than synthetic plastic in my opinion.

      @@4dventur35 Thanks for the answer. I am considering a Hailun but I think their pianos do have wooden black keys as well. I honestly don't know how well they are. Once I saw an old piano with faded black keys and it was ugly in my opinion.

      @@antimon40 Feurichs are made in the Hailun factory but I don't think they are the same piano. Marcus may be able to help. It is best to try as many pianos out as possible. I got a feurich because it was cheaper and I am looking to upgrade it to a grand in about 10 years time.
      Cosmetics don't really appeal to me, quality and tone does. Cosmetics wears off eventually. Everyday you will wipe or polish it similar to a car but when you see one scratch the novelty wears off. The quality and tone of the piano is something which is unique

    Thank you for this videos. Would you recommend this piano vs the Yamaha b3?

    • @RobertsPianos
      @RobertsPianos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't really know the Yamaha B3 very well, never having sold or worked on one. The early ones (2001ish?) I thought were a bit patchy in tone but they may have improved with time. Marcus

      @@RobertsPianos thank you for your reply. I was thinking to buy a Yamaha b3 but now I have decided to buy a 122 having seen your videos. Thank you for helping to decide.

    Hi, really usefull video. Are the feurich pianos made in China ? (Sorry if my english is uncorrect i'm french)

    • @4dventur35
      @4dventur35 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes apart from the original Leipzig ones or the Vienna model which is assembled in Vienna but the cabinet is constructed in China. All other parts are sourced outside China I think.

      @4dventur35 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ferretti Maurizio what's your opinion on the 125 model. I also have a 125 but have found the build not to be great quality from the Feurich factory. The sound is nice but craftsmanship not so good

    • @4dventur35
      @4dventur35 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Ferretti Maurizio ah yes. I also had pedal noises but from inspection with a technician its badly designed as its prone to extensive wear and tear. What worries me is I have a string with a dint in from the factory and it has been strung very poorly
      I am planning to upgrade this after 5 years as I think price wise it's worth it for its performance and the hammers. However I think I will look at a used steinway, petrof, bechstein or yamaha se132 or su7 next.
