If it happens in the finale I imagine it like this;He’s at the iceberg lounge celebrating his victory with his new crew and one of the guys bring him a top hat from a display case as a sort of “crown” for oz to wear.
That was a great use of music at the end of Ep 3 imo. I'm hoping he wears a monocle in the future like in the thumbnail to complete the look we know he'll sport from set photos where he's wearing a top hat, yellow vest, & trench coat.

I don't think Reeves is ashamed of the unrealistic parts, the universe has still been stylized in some ways, it's just his vision is centered on grounding the original world. Even the "Oz Cobb" thing came from the director not him, since he gave him creative freedom.
