@@sukhjitkaur1650 I thought the same.
@@sukhjitkaur1650 from Tremors?

I actually gasped when he realized it was just in bold
Same 🤣🤣🤣
me too sara
Maybe you'll gasp again when you realize it's not that at all. It's similar-but-legally-distinct font for sure, but Papyrus it ain't.
@PikkaBird Whatever they did IT WASN'T ENOUGH! *Proceed to break something*
@@PikkaBird People really do believe everything they hear on TV and the internet.

Gave me serious Joker vibes. 😂
I was crying laughing.
It's not even a comedy sketch now, this plot is something beyond
How right you are so dark yet so funny.
I want more
This should be made into a movie
SNL heard people saying they not funny and made these skits 😂😂😂😂 ❤❤❤❤
It's utterly Papysterous!
Ryan Gosling just casually delivering Oscar worthy acting on an SNL sketch. 😂
"Thank you for your consideration..."
"Clap...Clap...Avatar logo is Papyrus in bold!" 👏👏👏
I know, right?! He’s truly a great actor.
Gosling definitely deserves an Emmy for this sketch
You misspelled Kyle Mooney
The giant red flag behind her when she said, "I don't know the first thing about you☝️" 😅😭🤣🔺️ THIS IS ART❤😂
Holy shit. That is genius.
I didn’t even notice at first. Great catch!
Great eye 😮
Well spotted!!!!
I LOVE unhinged SNL sequels that have so much passion behind a super dumb concept. This one is so good 💀 I love Ryan Gosling giving it HIS ALL
Shout out to Benedict Cumberbatch with his recurring cool toilet commercials
James Cameron, the ball's in your court: Put the Avatar 3 logo in italics.
Oh man, that would be something...
☠️
Hahahahahahhahahahahahahhaahhahahahahhahahahahhahaha I stop breathing
Why not go crazy with it? Bolded Italic! (unless that is reserved for Avatar 4)
Crazier yet: Add the Bevel & Emboss and Drop Shadow filter in Photoshop. No editing of the values.
Papyrus written in Comic Sans at the end is just the cherry on top! 🤣
it was the jumpscare we deserve
I have never needed a trigger warning this much
I do get triggered by Comic Sans, it's everywhere!
Reminds me of undertale 😂
And in bold too lmao
Tiny detail but i love how the papyrus font is under “recently used” on his computer like he does it all the time😂
An SNL skit that has elevated itself into high art...*slow clap*

i love that they put in his famous "GOD DAMNIT" scream from blade runner
I can only imagine what the actual graphic design team behind Avatar thinks of these sketches.
I can only imagine Gosling found who they are and sent them an apology for taking the piss out of their work. Realistically with an unhinged message from Steven to keep the joke running.
When James Cameron saw the original skit, he called his people and he told them: "You know what it means, right? We need to double on Papyrus now". I am not making this up, this literally happened.
@@NC7491 James"
@@NC7491 you mean James Cameron?
@@NC7491 So after politics he went into film making and grahics? 😂
I love how this started off as an innocuous SNL bit that transformed into a psychological short film about the root of one man's unhealthy obsession with papyrus and confronting his past.
But it's more. It is a metaphor for Gosling to cast his wienie Ken self and reach for the Paprus and become fluent in ancient Egyptian. I am sure of this as I am doing the same thing and have been since I saw the first Avatar. I still cry when I think of those blue skinned goofballs.
It would be funnier if windings was rejected in favor or paprys
Someone was so obsessed with making a sketch about papyrus-something that even SNL couldn't resist.
Papyrus (the first skit) is by far one of my favorite SNL skits of all time. So glad to see they made a sequel!
th-cam.com/video/jVhlJNJopOQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=A204T03ChAmwSmYN
I really need to know that Julio Torres also wrote this sequel to his first one.
Anyone that has ever worked on a group project for school with at least one lazy bastard:
"TELL THEM WHAT YOU DID!!!"
I’m COMPLETELY obsessed with this Papyrus storyline. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😂😂
The fonts on the signs changing into papyrus is genuinely a great creative touch
Sure thing, lady!
The level of production is just insane.
LOL it was, but also disturbing. If you've ever experienced visual artifacts or needed a med like ziprasidone, then I'm sure someone else did what I did for a sec, which was to feel a slight panic tingle feeling and go "wait, am I???? oh, the show's doing that" *whew*"
They were very clever about making the words slide across your periphery, that's how it feels irl sometimes, seriously.
Sure, but those were examples from real life. Have you never seen the sandwich board for a legitimate massage place? A juice bar? A meditation center? How about their flyers? Papyrus is used on menus in small cafés and mom-and pop restaurants all over the country. I must run into it at least once a week, in print.🤗🫶🏻🫶🏻💋
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
I'll never get bored of watching Ryan Gosling play a lost character.
I love this sketch because it's also making fun of how Gosling always plays lonely, psychologically affected characters
Lost is CG Triumnirste Inserat
Or watching him as any character
i mean ken was kinda lost
did they just use comic sans for the title of this sketch? are they serious?....the sketch... with the Ryan Gosling.... a classic that took internet by storm that we all love.... and they used COMIC F@^&!%G SANS????????!

If Ryan doesn't win an Emmy for this (or the entire episode).... I give up. They could create a 90 min. Papyrus movie and submit it to a film festival and probably win the grand prize. Simply amazing 😮

The angled camera slowly zooming on his face, as he realizes "He just put it in bold.", is SO perfect and well done to the fact that it got the biggest laugh out of me for this skit.

That's the exact moment I spat out my coffee XD
The Dutch angled camera was great! It however wasn’t zooming in though..
And I loved the deliberately dirty glasses 🤣
And the 'god dammit' 😂
Whoever was in charge of the music through this whole sketch did an amazing job
Ohmigosh yes
I’ve learned so much about this series….mainly the freakin crazy attention to detail people have.
Not only am I happy that this masterpiece of a sketch got a sequel, I'm also ecstatic that they got Kyle Mooney to come back.
Did he? Maybe they shot it a while ago and recycled it? And if not, why?
@@okonh0wpdefinitely got him to come back... He left before the 2nd movie came out
And SNL shoot those movie trailer spoofs barely a month out if so
@@itsallGudmin thanks for the clarification. I heard that Michael Longfellow did a shoot that didn't have the host so they could delay it for a couple episodes or so

I don't think Kyle had to move his schedule around a lot to come back. Probably has a lot of free time now.
This deserves an Emmy. The writing, the editing, the performances. All around gold.
Only issue is it was cut for time so it wasn't even live
Sure, if they can get an Emmy for “D*ck in a Box”… 🤔🙊
I think it will be nominated, for sure
I mean, the performance is good. The color-grading and ligthing are legit like a real movie.
However, the plot and writing are kind of weak to be honest.
I watched the Beavis & Butthead sketch before this one, and I didn't think that was all that funny either.
I used to love SNL. I watched it all the time when Will Ferrell, Darrel Hammond, Tim Meadows, Maya Rudolph, Jimmy Falon, and Tina Fey were part of the cast

SNL goes hard with Ryan Gosling everytime! I’m here for it. I need a remake of Fallen (staring Denzel Washington) and Ryan Gosling be casted for the villain. Please!!!
As soon as I heard Ryan was coming back to host SNL, I knew Papyrus 2 was coming.

She really nailed her character as a nerdy IT gal. I love when Ryan asks she minds if he joins her on the park bench, and she sort of studders "Sure".
