I like this option way better than swapping out the handles for carbon fiber ones because most don’t have the key holes plus it saves you time from having to take it all apart
I straight up used J-B Weld with steel reinforcement to bond it. I took off the 3M tape before and after that my door handle cover didn’t move like yours did. I had to remove them to sand them and wash them before bonding them. I wrapped the button in carbon fiber wrap though so it wasn’t bare. Also wrapped the back of the handle since that never gets damaged.

Looking to get a white 370z. They look very nice and this along with some nice black alloys will top it off, assuming the windows are already tinted dark.

Those look pretty good, a better option might be a carbon wrap for the hamdles. It would have better coverage ,.Good looking car though.

Thanks man! Scratches aren’t too bad but fitment is still kinda annoying and is almost falling off. Definitely go with EvoR carbon fiber handles instead of carbon alliance though

They’re holding up fine. Haven’t gotten worse but I think I would still recommend people get them from EvoR instead since I’ve heard those don’t have problems

@Adam Galindo I just put the honeycomb carbon fiber on my z yesterday. The passenger side went smooth, but the driver side handle was just too tight of a fit. But Overall, it looks nice so I'm satisfied

Same happened to me, had to sand down where it needed just so it opens, mine was so bad that my door didn’t even open
Yea mine sometimes gets a little stuck and have to open it carefully otherwise I’ll break the carbon. Definitely don’t see them lasting much longer
@@adamgalind1101 shave off what rubs with 600 grit sandpaper, but hit up alliance carbon in the email, tell him they don’t fit good, that you’ve had a problem since day one, send him your order # he’ll send you a new pair, i got a brand new pair waiting for me when these ones go bad

Not a fan at all of aluminum either. I would not dish $250 for CF. Not a fan of stickers (no matter how "light weight" they are, they are stickers). I am looking for a better solution to black out my 2018 Z Nismo. Anyone?
That’s your only solution. Or paint them but they’ll chip eventually
Fyi alliance carbon door handles have seem to have gotten a bad rep for that fitment you pointed out when opening the door. I see tons and tons of complaints on Z groups on Facebook complaining the door handles don’t fit how they should for the price point. Also some people talking about how they had to shave down the handle to fit properly.
Alliance carbon was a really good company when they started, but again in a lot of Z groups everyone has come to the conclusion the company has gone down hill.

@@adamgalind1101 from my understanding everyone wanted alliance door handles because they came with the key hole… but then were let down by the poor fitment & modification needed to fit properly and not scrape. I see most people recommend evo-r door handles for far better fitment, unfortunately just no key hole.

Yea unfortunately just went with the wrong company. EvoR makes the exact same thing for the same price and have heard that those fit perfect
