The fixie movement reminds me of the street skate movement... it's all about style. Like I'm not a materialistic guy or anything, but riding a beautiful looking fixie is just fucking cool, deal with it haha!

how do you do to travel with your bike? you send it first?

All you need is an hardshell bike suitcase. They sell all different types on amazon and your LBS most likely can order you one also. When your ready to travel with your bike get your bike taking apart at your LBS then package in your travel suitcase and check it like you would your normal luggage when you fly. Once you get to your new location go to a LBS in that city of the new country and they will put together your bike for you.
What I like to do is get in contact with fixed gear locals far ahead of time from that city via instagram, youtube, and random searches for local shops in the country I plan on visiting that will be able to put my bike together. Once I find one or two that look awesome and friendly I will contact them and tell them what I have in mind.
This way no matter where I travel I always have an awesome an some with local fixed gear riders no matter where I travel to hangout with and run their city.

While growing up in Russia in 80s-90s we only had fixed gears. Now riding bikes with gears feels boring, less contact with bicycle.
im pretty sure they were singled speed, i doubt they were fixed gear (aka cranks turn with the wheel.)
Vilmos Magyar You actually right, thank you for mentioning it here. We used to bike single speed bikes and it was great. Now I wouldn't even bother, it would kill me going up hill ;)

Nagyon jó lett!! Nekem is van egy fixim de még mindig nem megy a slideolás aszfalton csak kavicsos vagy vízes úton! Van valami paktikátok, hogy tanulhatnám meg?
skid, nem slide. és jobban előre kell helyezned a testsúlyodat. emelkedj el az ülésről a kormányod irányába, miközben a térdeidet közelíted a felső csövedhez. de ezzel kapcsolatban számtalan videót is találsz a neten.
Ádám Király Prószáld meg a testsúlyodat minnél közelebb helyezni előre - azaz a kormány fele, és úgy rúgd hátra a pedálokat. Én személy szerint majdnem, hogy ráhasalok a kormányra. :)

Zoltán Süle Szia! Amikor a videót készült már kezdett jobb idő lenni, télen nyakig beöltözünk :) Amúgy az egy sima pulóver. Ha télen nem akarsz fázni akkor: csősál, aláöltöző (alul, felül), thermo kesztyű+vastag bringás kesztyű, thermo zokni.

fixedbroz Es milyen attetel ajanlott?
Zoltan Tyukodi 2.8-3.1 között. a 2.75 a lightos, a 3.1 a combos :) fixed gear calculatorral ki tudod szamolni (guglizz rá). Mi 46-15, 52-17, 53-17, és hasonló áttételekkel megyünk
fixedbroz én 3.4.et hajtok london utcáin, max pár lambo egyedül ellenfél. :D
...viszont skid csak akkor megy ha élethalál tárgya a megállás, mert ez az áttét már nem embernek való, de nekem kell a sebesség. :D
Én Budapesten járkálok 3.47-tel. Skid sem para még ilyen áttétellel sem, de azért fék nélkül nem mernék ezzel menni

Hááát. A kérdésre, hogy mennyire lesz nagy váltás: nagyon nagy lesz. Nem tudom mennyire érzed kicsinek az (amúgy valóban kicsi) áttételed, minden megszokás kérdése persze, nameg hogy mire használod. Google->fixed gear calculator->első találat sokat segíthet. Ez megmutatja hogy hány skidpontod van (hány helyen kopik a gumid skidnél), ha skidels akkor lehetőség szerint 8 fölött legyen (52-17 pl ezért is nagyon jó mert 17 skidpontod van, teáht a gumid élettartama sokszorosa lehet egy 3 skidpontos áttételhez képest). Visszatérve a kalkulátorra és a döntésedhez. Olyan áttételt válassz ami megfelel az igényeidnek. Segítség: 2.8 alatt elég gyengének számi az áttétel 2.8 és 2.95 között nagyon komprumisszumképes, 2.95 felett pedig elég combosnak mondható. Ha lehet ne nagyon menj 3.1 áttétel felé mert a combod se fogja szeretni és értelmetlen is mert nem tudod kipörgetni. Ha van még kérdés írj nyugodtan, segítünk. ;)
Köszönöm szépen:) Már csak annyit szeretnék mondani hogy vélhetőleg egy olyan vázat sikerült megvennem egy ismerősömtől ami a tiétek volt, mert fixedbroz matrica volt rajta (cheeko colossi) de én hülye le szintereztettem, mert addig nem hallottam rólatok.És ez a kalkulátor oldal tényleg sokat segít, Köszönök mindent! :)
Nekünk soha nem volt csikónk, szoktunk osztogatni matricákat, valószínűleg onnan került rá. Nincs mit! ;)

Szép jelenetek, jó helyeken és jól bringáztok,de könyörgöm a piroson áthajtás mitől menő? Nem lesz egy csaj tangája se nedves,mert átmentél a piroson,nem leszel tőle rosszfiú! Ha van combod, vádlid skidelni meg trackstandelni,akkor ahhoz is legyen,hogy megállsz, aztán újra elindulsz. Én országútival ugyanúgy elvesztem a jöl megszerzett energiát és újra fel kell venni. Azért mész át,mert más is ezt csinálja? Más vénásan lövi a hernyót,akkor te is?

+Viktor Soós Szia Viktor! A piros jelzés értékű. Természetesen nem megyünk bele, ha ezzel a közlekedés más résztvevőjét hitelen irányváltoztatásra vagy fékezésre kell kényszerítenünk. Az elmúlt évek alatt soha nem volt ilyesfajta problémánk, remélhetőleg nem is lesz és ahogy el is mondtuk azt, meghalni nem szeretnénk :) Minden jót!

Hangulatos videó.Egyre ügyesebben le tudjuk másolni....őööö pardon , ráérezni a szubkulturális nyugati áramlatokra , meghonosítani idehaza. Milyen jó lenne, ha szerzői jogokkal kapcsolatosan is hasonló hozzáállással járnánk el! Minimum feltüntetnénk a videóban felhasznált zenéket.. !Szerintem a tartalom fogyasztók a művészek és szelektorok is megérdemlik a tiszteletet! Legyen béke az utakon is!
