I purchased my first Raymond Weil three years ago from a jeweler with whom I have a good connection. Upon seeing this watch (a different model from the video), I knew I had to have it. The design is simple, elegant, and worth the price, also, I have my eyes set on this one.
Got one for my birthday yesterday and absolutely love it. Lovely smooth movement and super clean details. A bit on the smaller end for my huge wrists but looks right at home regardless.
Hello my Costco friend;) I just saw this watch yesterday and I am liking it. Very classy. Not sure about the straps but at this price range something have to give. I can put a set alligator straps on it and it will be awesome!
My local Costco had this model of couple months ago, but last week it wasn't in the case anymore 😢 still have a Breitling for $6000. I have a Tissot Le loche powermatic.. I paid $300 for, Swiss automatic. Great review!
It's a wonderful brand that is not really promoted in the US. Check out their dealer list in Western Europe - it's very big. Truth is, Americans don't go for subtlety and taste. That being said, they have also committed some blunders: Yes, some of their watches are ugly. Also, it's not a great idea to promote your sophisticated product with garbage rock bands. What are they thinking? So, the brand is a bit like Bulova here in the US: the great designs are there - but you've got to delve into the catalog and find them.
Thanks for the review. I read it on web caliber used RW4200 has some problems, are you aware of any? Also do you know can we manually wind this by turning dial ?

I just got my 1st Raymond Weil. Its from the 2000s, RW 7793 Chronograph Automatic 39mm. Its so beautiful. Quite nice for 600 euros.
The freelancer skeleton watch is an awesome looking watch too.

What about them now ? I’m looking for them, but there is not much info about this brand 😅

I just seen this watch at Costco today and I was like “wait is that what I think it is” as it sat by all the Citizen watches lol
My favorite Raymond Weil watch is the 9122 Geneve gold tricolor watch.
However difficult to find.
One issue I had with a very similar RW model was the font used for “automatic” - it looks almost industrial, doesn’t suit the rest of the piece.
I will go to Costco tomorrow and buy it

I’ve seen reviewers do unboxing where the box the watch comes in clearly states “made in China”.
I agree though, despite that, it’s a beautiful watch.
If it is made in China, what about the Sellita/ETA movement inside?
