That’s what is fun about motor sports. Racing is a blast but a bunch of folks, a little behind, combining all available resources to get some guy they may not know up and running so he can race. That’s the fun stuff.

Who here thinks Cletus has already drawn up plans for his own jet sprint track at the Freedom Factory.
The best part of Cleetus taking the ket ski out on the track is seeing the relative scale between that and the race boats.
It takes a lot more than just building a track.

You need to get out more, my friend. Almost every single competition I've ever been involved with has an awesome core group of people that will bend over backward to help you out. Especially if you're new to the scene. That's what competition is all about. It's not the winning, it's the camaraderie.
@@ronjones-6977 I can confirm this with drifting especially. Grass roots guys are the absolute best and will do whatever they can to help get you back out on track shredding. Makes me happy to see so many other motorsports are the same way
Helping them tune their new LS install was a really nice thing to do. Especially since you're learning a new motorsport 300 miles from home. Cletus - you have character - that's something you cannot buy. Brilliant.

I used to mostly just watch shit like Daily Driven Exotics and then I stumbled upon Cletus and have been hooked ever since. These videos keep getting better all the time. The whole team is full of good dudes who love what they do and really help bring in new people to the different types of racing. I never used to care about drag racing but now I watch it any time I get a chance.

Made that drive many times. Its always awesome getting to follow grandpa in the motorhome. The hills with the passing lanes come in really handy. Port Angeles is an awesome city, I would recommend taking the ferry to Victoria next time you are up there.

If they make a class for it. The rules they are currently using don't allow fuel injection in anything other than the unlimited class. That LS boat is being used as a test bed to see whether or not they will allow them in the future.

Direct the output away from the pipe and see how fast it fills up another one. you could find a way to mount it so the water gets in and won’t damage it but still gets desired effect.

So when does construction of the Jet Sprint track start at the Freedom Factory?
It would not be that difficult. Does not look like it takes very much land and you just have to dig some shallow ditches. Keeping the alligators out of it might be a bit tough. I guess they could just be a hazard you have to avoid.

That is the true spirit of Jet Sprinting. I've been wanting you to have a go at this since you first put the minijet in the water. I follow jet sprints globally as I am a former safety marshal for New Zealand Jet Sprints and I have never been with a happier family.

there is 2 people in the boat just like World rally cross, 1 guy to drive 2nd guy is one that points where to go so really only the guy that is navigating has to remember.
@@arbiter1 The pilot needs to know the course, the co-pilot is there to remove any indecision in the heat of the moment

The co-driver is just ballast these days. The driver has to know the course to have any chance. If you go back and watch the live stream most of the co-drivers just sit there and don't even try to signal.

It was cool seeing you out there. I went for my sister who was the navigator of full tilt which rolled onto one of the islands.
That is one of the craziest styles of racing for sure , after memorizing a map taking back roads to Mexico from Canada you finally know the coarse to run lol
Recognize the stretch of road quite well! I’m Shelton born and raised! One of my favorite drives up along hood canal through there. Some excellent hole in the wall eateries through there!
