I’ve talked to several proficient EFI tuners that have said Baha truck / sand car tunes are rarely given more than an afterthought. Relieved to see the laptop come out 😂
Just bit of advice for anyone who offroads do NOT use the exterior parts of the roll cage as a grab handle while the rig is moving, I say this because my former coworker who is former US Army Blackhawk mechanic was using the roll cage on a SxS as grab handle when he and some friends got into a wreck which led to a roll over and he ended up degloving the hand grabbing on to the cage. I saw what his hand looked like when he got back to work and it was NOT a pretty sight. So as the say on roller coasters "KEEP YOUR HAND AND FEET INSIDE THE RIDE WHILE THE RIDE IS IN MOTION".
The hardest part of watching Cleetus sometimes is the feeling in every video "I need one of those" and .. now I need a sand rail. 🤣

The night scenes were some of the best IMO. It looked like some strange alien world that you guys were in with all the colored LED flags waving around and of course the sweet sound of engines pegged to the rev limiter.

Cleetus, you should separate the exhaust sides, it looks cool but its way more efficient to give each side its own exit so that each cylinder bank isnt trying to fight each other.

Grew up going to the dunes once we got a sand rail it totally changed everything! This was early 2000s with big NA VWs short travel and we still had a blast! Can’t imagine how much better with long travel and blown LS power!
Cleeters content just gets better and better, I don't think any other youtuber comes close to how good the content is and how varied it is, pretty much the only reason I use TH-cam anymore

Had a couple of long travel V8 sand cars back in the mid 2000s when I lived in Az and would go to Glamis just about every other weekend, good times, it’s hard to beat the fun factor of ripping thru the dunes in a conga line at speed that’s for sure. Enjoy it brother

As an Aussie I didn't realise the side by side scene was so damn big in the US. Just seeing how many people rock up at night in Glamis blows my mind, it's genuinely nuts.

Yeah I don't understand how so many people can afford such expensive toys when everyone claims to be so broke from inflation. They bitch about grocery prices and then buy a $35,000 SXS. The new Can Am one cleetus tested is like $60,000 with every option. I can't get myself to drop 20k on a used car because mine still works fine it's just getting old.

This is pretty much one of the coolest things I have ever watched on TH-cam. You should do a giveaway just on a meet and greet with Cleat an a ride along.
Side by sides are like an all terrain tire. They are good at a lot. A paddle tire on the other hand has one purpose. A sand rail has one purpose and it excels at it.

Love seeing Cleet play on my home turf. I grew up going to Glamis, was the editor of Sand Sports Magazine for many years and I have the board name of KingGlamis on many forums. Pulling a wheelie in a sand car is indeed addicting. So much freaking fun! Cleet is my favorite person on the planet, and seeing him in my favorite place on the planet is just incredible!!!

I bought my sand rail from a family friend with a dead engine for $200. Its a shortened wheelbase pre 65 vw. The stock type 1 trans is still in use but I've got a 22r Toyota motor in it. The whole buggy weighs like 900lbs!
No one on Earth gets more excited for wheelies than George, and I'm here for it.
cool trick too, after puting nitrogen in your resies, spray some windex or something over the seals to check for a pinched o-ring or any leaks.

Hey sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness then not make the purchase, like the Porsche after all it was for her and if you think about it the Sand rail is for the family, he could of bought a sporty 2 seater for him and his wife but nope took one for the team and bought a 4 seater, him his wife and his 2 kids even though one isn't here yet but he's thinking ahead way to be a family😁🫣

@racecarsandreptiles5420 I'm just gonna say this - some people would be happy with just money. The majority of people want companionship and partnership. And that's why divorces happen. If cleet is giving her 10Gs a week it wouldn't matter if Maddie was pissed that he didn't communicate with her what was happening for a week while she is home with a kid and a half.
The best way to keep her from worrying about you doing something stupid is to simply not tell her about it
I highly recommend a plexiglass floor so you can see . Can also do individual e brakes for the back corners to steer it

I remember the first time taking my CR500 with paddle tire to Sand Mountain. It's almost like riding a jet ski because it's not friction from tire that makes you go, it's the paddle throwing sand backward and conservation of momentum. The most fun thing about riding motorcycles on the sand is the cornering G forces. You can lean it over so far the handlebar is touching the sand and the suspension is bottoming out. It seriously takes all my strength just to hold on. So fun and so different from any other surface you could ride on.
I grew up in AZ and remember running around Glamis in the early 70's and 80's when their wasn't a whole lot of people there... Its crazy to see how many people are there now... Stay safe, have fun!!
