@@rav-7072 if I remember, one of the first live events in fortnite was a thanos event. Players who grabbed the gauntlet would become Thanos and reek havoc on the island. But again, that was only tied to an event.
Thanos did become a skin 1 year later, but he doesn't have any super powers.

I was in tears laughing when AJ finally turns into superman, and he gets immediately shot and robbed as superman. That is exactly how it can feel playing fortnite most of the time. You get one little fun thing then immediately shot and robbed and the whole experience is ruined. Thanks you guys for forcing yourselves to play it made me laugh.

Called in to give people hope and then immediately gets mugged and beat down for money and his likeness to be exploited. Very apt description of the post Man of Steel/New 52 uses of Superman.

Thanos had a game mode similar to his idea for Superman, and the Marvel characters got powers/special moves in a specialized 2v2 mode. They could always do more than just aesthetics if they want.

@@isaiahcox9787 that was a special event separate from the normal BR. If I remember correctly the gauntlet would fall randomly on the map and once you acquired it you become Thanos. People could kill you for it and become the next Thanos. It's not like people payed for a Thanos skin and had pay to win powers over players in a normal match.

I usually agree with Joe , but not this time. The game is still fortnite adding all the heroes and villain's are tailored for kids to enjoy. Fortnite has always been upfront about the skins and compared to any other BR in terms of content no other game comes close.

Paid-for skins, gachapon slot machine mechanics, toxic player base, season passes that never end, incredibly shallow gameplay and next to no advances--it's nothing but GREED OVER GAMEPLAY. It's disgusting.
I don’t like fortnite but i gotta give hella respect to marketing team or whoever puts all these skins and characters in game. They got the money and team to make a lot of right moves

They do add more guns and map changes or at least they used to back in the day
Well, the fun comes from the different items and map changes they add with most updates, even mid season. etc cauz Fortnite is not an Overwatch/Apex thing. It's simply a classic Battle Royale.

If you are expecting that at any point any of these guys acts like an adult and accept that this is superman as a playable character on fortnite who actually does get special treatment, don't, he's the only character whose glider gives him a special falling pattern that makes him look like he's flying, aside from the glider, and you can choose to start with either clark or Superman, while for all other characters you have to choose the normal form and then transform.
This changes are doable as they Don't affect gameplay. They're merely cosmetic, and that's how it's supposed to be, it really shows that joe has never played fortnite and just doesn't like the game because he thinks that's cool or whatever idk...
How dare fortnite take a character that's pretty neglected by todays children, bring it to the spotlight and make it the most expected thing this season of the game... Pff bastards

@@AkaTipla while using the glider (mjolnir) yes, it's the same with many other characters with unique gliders like Iron man, storm, Dr. Doom, etc...
Captain marvel has a similar glider to Superman, which mimics her flying but when she's just falling, she, as well as all other skins, just looks the same, falling face first, superman takes on a flying pose when he's just falling, that's incorporated to his glider, which only he can use, so it's unique to him...

I love the reactions in this video but how did AJ go into this thinking Superman wasn't anything more then a skin? I understand this is his first time playing Fortnite BR but really? If you could pay to play a character in game that had literal super powers, AJ would be reporting how fucked up Fortnite and Epic are. How greedy Epic would be to put an OP character with super powers into a BR game. I'd say just be happy that one of your favorite characters has a cameo is something as popular as Fortnite. I understand the game isn't for everyone but I think it's awesome there is a game that has so many crossovers. It's wild to me that you can have Superman, Iron Man, Master Chief, Kratos, Arianna Grande, Alien, Daryl Dixon, Terminator etc all fighting against each other in a BR. Just speaks to how much money Fortnite and Epic make.
In a slight defense, in the Marvel season there was a mode where all you got was the superhero powers. They need to bring that back, but auto equip the correct skin and superpower/s.
Superman was just there and he had nothing to do with that season at all which was very boring in my opinion compared to Deadpool or the Foundation, so it does feel like Superman was a lazy addition with no lore behind it.

This video was so hilarious, but an important detail they probably don’t know is that Fortnite justifies all the heroes not having their superpowers because anyone who enters fortnite island gets their memory erased. You can see that in the Batman Zero Point comic.
