    Should be a mandatory watch for all new mig welders. Thanks, I learned exactly what I was looking for.

    Very good content! 👍. I use a wide variety of slip on HD nozzles for mig and dual shield welding. It's very surprising how much difference from one to another. I usually have to make gas flow and wire feeder/ voltage corrections. Going from 5/8 to 3/8" nozzle. Total different gun performance.

    Good video. I just have never gotten used to "up talk" though.

    I either stick weld or TIG... Never had any reason to buy a good MIG machine until now. Apparently, the nozzle vs TIG cup isn't as critical, just don't obstruct the shielding gas with your tip and nozzle combination. That's what I got from the video. MIG is an easy process, not quite as involved as TIG and your hand isn't getting smoked! 😆

    Does Binzel make nozzles for flux core welding with no gas.

    • @abicor-binzel
      @abicor-binzel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, because flux core welding doesn't need/use shielding gas, there is no need for a nozzle to direct the shielding gas for proper coverage. Our flux core torches do not use a nozzle, however if you are using a standard MIG gun with flux core wire, any nozzle should work just fine.

    Which insulating material you use inside the nozzle which give the longer life??

    • @abicor-binzel
      @abicor-binzel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jay. It's a thermoplastic insert. Not sure of the exact material or rating of it.

    So where can I purchase a MIG gun from Binzel?

    • @abicor-binzel
      @abicor-binzel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Mtn blue, you can find our torches at all of the major welding parts/gas distributors like Praxair or AirGas. We are at some local shops as well. Hope that helps!

    Does the nickel plated nozzles have copper or brass under the platting? I assume copper?

    • @abicor-binzel
      @abicor-binzel  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes! They are Nickel Plated Copper.

    • @SulfuricDrop3
      @SulfuricDrop3 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      ABICOR BINZEL okay, thank you for responding. will it always be copper or can they have brass sometimes to?

    • @abicor-binzel
      @abicor-binzel  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SulfuricDrop3 If you're using a BINZEL nickel-plated nozzle it will always be copper underneath the plating.

    Your west coast sales rep. ( Craig) , sucks. He doesn't respond to calls. You have great products but your customer service in the U.S. is lousy.

    The slip on ones are simply annoying.
