Great job explaining.. can you do a video on mig welding thin sheet metal for autobody panel... stich welding and making plug welds with everlast mts welder
Excellent video --as usual! Never had a problem with GMAW 'till I recently tried using .023/.024/.025/.6mm or whatever the hell you want to call it (everyone I talk to calls it something different). Me, I call it a PITA 'cause I just can't seem to set it right for the thin metal project I'm trying to do. I've got it down to 20 ga but I need just a scootch more at 22 ga to get 'er done and I'm just wasting gas at this point. I enjoy the videos nonetheless!
What does it mean when my weld starts by sending sparks until it puddles then just hums the rest of the weld. Are my settings okay? Currently I’m welding axle hangers on angel and my wire speeds at 385 with voltage being 25.5. Any advice is greatly appreciated thank you.
C-25 is pretty much the go to.C-10 for pulse mig and spray transfer. Will it work, sure, will the results be nice and consistant, probly not. Hope tgis helps
i dont get how anyone with a decent mig cant lay a good weld on steel. welding aluminum or stainless or something ok but how is it people cant mig weld regular steel? I just dont get it.
I take it "Bird Shit" is the Generic Term for a poor weld. Are there other Terms a Newbie Welder needs to know. 🤔😉 Old guy learning.... Very helpful! 👍
Very nicely explain of step by steps for shielding gas and S6 hard wire faith voltage and wire speed setting thank you
8 years welding experience added to the resume. Thanks bro
Good video. Not sure why I even watched it. I’ve got a ton of certs. But for a newbies. Good work
Always good to revisit your everything. So many variables. Thanks for the refresher course.👍
I do a small oscillating back & fourth. Great welds 🤙🏿👨🏾🏭🔥💰
very good video! Finally a video that shows me my mistakes and how to fix them without overcompensating.
Thank you for your effort mate in teaching us how to get it right on welding iv learned so much ,rookie in a shed in Australia
Just checking in family! 🔥🔥🔥
Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing!
Finally! A video with everything I need. Thanks a lot!
Thx. If I am not mistaken the voltage decreases when the contact to work distance is very short, not as you describe.

Thanks. Using a hobart handler 140, trying to dial it in. This will help.
Thanks folks! This was a fun video!

Was super helpful! Thanksssss 👍🏽

Merci guy pour la vidéo ça la répondu à tout mes questions!!
Many thanks, very clear
Thanks. Good video.
Wire size @ 1:40?
1:45 translation to metric, thats 19 volts and 7.6 m/min wire feed speed, welding 5mm plate.
Love this video. Thank you.
awesome vid.
Wire size?
Great video! I like to do little cursive e’s .
You cleared it up so much for me for bigginer welder ) Thank you
Those Caiman gloves look like something Shrek would have....great information Guy, cheers from Florida, Paul 'Paulie' Brown
All your demonstration "bad" welds are still better than my "best" welds😢
No doubt. I seen his bad welds and was considering hanging up my hood lol. But naw. Im plugging along trying to get better
????? Just picked up Hobart 140 handler is c10 gas good 👍
For it

Those caiman gloves are no good. The stitching in the liner fails very quickly, and they aren't worth the price
Learn serving time as a tradesman. Never weave. Taking heat out if the joint

Job posting: looking for welders to weld a submersible that can get to 13000 feet without collapsing. No lo-ballers - paying top dollar
Must be able to differentiate between Types of "Bird Shit Welds"
No need to be able to weld, it's all done by "A.I"
This has turned out to be harder than i expected
