Thx. If I am not mistaken the voltage decreases when the contact to work distance is very short, not as you describe.

@@johnmacmillan627 it makes it hotter not colder... he showes in the video what too much stickout does... and what too little does maybe rewatch and pay attention 🫶🏽

Thanks. Using a hobart handler 140, trying to dial it in. This will help.

Excellent video --as usual! Never had a problem with GMAW 'till I recently tried using .023/.024/.025/.6mm or whatever the hell you want to call it (everyone I talk to calls it something different). Me, I call it a PITA 'cause I just can't seem to set it right for the thin metal project I'm trying to do. I've got it down to 20 ga but I need just a scootch more at 22 ga to get 'er done and I'm just wasting gas at this point. I enjoy the videos nonetheless!

What does it mean when my weld starts by sending sparks until it puddles then just hums the rest of the weld. Are my settings okay? Currently I’m welding axle hangers on angel and my wire speeds at 385 with voltage being 25.5. Any advice is greatly appreciated thank you.

Those caiman gloves are no good. The stitching in the liner fails very quickly, and they aren't worth the price

I take it "Bird Shit" is the Generic Term for a poor weld. Are there other Terms a Newbie Welder needs to know. 🤔😉

Job posting: looking for welders to weld a submersible that can get to 13000 feet without collapsing. No lo-ballers - paying top dollar

Must be able to differentiate between Types of "Bird Shit Welds"
No need to be able to weld, it's all done by "A.I"
