Morris actually preached this in a series at Todd’s church a few years ago around the time that Todd purchased a new building for his church. This is more like recycling than stealing sermons. However, God does not necessarily stop sending resources because we do not tithe. The parable of the talents has nothing to do with tithing. So it's just bad doctrine being rehashed.

very interesting find! It is clear to me that those two sermons were “hijacked” by Todd. However, I wouldn’t say, as mentioned in the end, that Mike doesn’t study or read the Bible. Even though I don’t think Mike is an actual Pastor, I can’t say he doesn’t consult the Bible on his own. May God grant repentance to Mike (and Robert). Soli Deo gloria
I believe Mike Todd "consults" the Bible. I believe he he comes up with a premise that fits his sermonh point (probably often taken from someone else's beliefs), he uses Bible software to qcuikly look up verses that contain the proper words and phrases to (aparently) fit his topic, and chooses one or two which he believes confirm or back up his point (even though 99.9 percent of the time those verses are taken far out of context).
Shocked but not surprised. I’ve sat in a church where I listened to a plagerized sermon. This is more common than we realize. These Pastors know most church folks are lukewarm. The average Christian doesn’t read the Bible or listen to any sermons outside of Sunday morning service.
I did a google search of the title and bible verse of my previous pastors sermon and I found at least 7 sermons he got from offline. I printed the sermon out and watched the live again and highlighted what he found online. He read about 75% of it. He never gave credit to the writer he took it from. I never confronted him because he soon left suddenly only after 2 years. My ex pastor even preached you won’t go to heaven if you don’t PAY tithes. God don’t charge a fee to get into heaven. Giving money is a work. Preachers love to share good sermons from each other I’ve been told.
This is amazing. He could have even changed some of the numbers or the details, but he didn’t. He even repeated his jokes 😂. All Todd has to do is say in the beginning of this, “I heard this analogy from a mentor of mine I want to share with you”. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but why lie?
I use to go to TC. The reason why it's the same sermon is because back when he first started to preach, he would bring in Robert Morrison to teach the sermon on giving. Through learning from him and Morrison book, "The Bless Life", Mike started to preach exactly what he learned from him. So every year, Mike, preaches the same to the sermon, just packaged differently. Anyway, I thought I would give some insight.

As a college professor I see word theft occurring more and more with my students and it is absolutely disgusting. How much more disgusting is it to see it happen, word for word, in the “pulpit” 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 study the word man!!! It’ll preach if you let it. Shameful!!! And the crowd eatin’ it up 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
People are like lost sheep. They will follow anyone in a leadership role and won't think twice about it. That's how people are so easily sucked into cults.
How is repeating a Holy Spirit filled sermon theft? How do you steal revelation from God? All sermons are repeated. They were repeated in the Bible! The scripture even quotes scripture, so I’m not seeing the issue.
@@Covenantofblood “Holy Spirit filled sermon”… mmkay, explain that?…. I see how you could miss seeing the issue.
Do not change the nature of my original post, stay on topic. I stand by what I said. Todd was not original in his delivery of his motivational speech. Just about everything was lifted from what he heard another say even down to the nuances and prosody of his speech-word for word with a straight face like he’s the one who originally delivered it that way!! Complete “theft”. Disgusting 🤢🤮
@@oliviabroxey6375 all sermons should be Holy Spirit filled if not then it’s NOT from God! And I never changed the topic at all. You saying theft when someone repeats another sermon but how is that theft? All real sermons and revelation come from God to man and we repeat what we hear. So again if he’s “stealing” who is he stealing from? From another pastor?? How when the words came from God? If it’s in the scripture then it’s from God. Picking out one preacher said the same as another instead of looking at the msg from God is an agenda from the spirit of confusion. What’s the point in getting mad when someone copied a sermon when the word is being preached and it’s saving souls and helping people?
Morris actually preached this in a series at Todd’s church a few years ago around the time that Todd purchased a new building for his church. This is more like recycling than stealing sermons. However, God does not necessarily stop sending resources because we do not tithe. The parable of the talents has nothing to do with tithing. So it's just bad doctrine being rehashed.
Yes but word for word of someone elses message is not recycling. Recycling would be reusing your own message. This is spiritually unethical. He literally memorized the transcript. This is not right- but it is showing his actoring skills, woah 😱
@@heavenlylifestylechannel The message was preached to his congregation and is already on his channel. How is that not recycled?
It’s plagiarism
Of course, you would think this is okay!
@@caramileelliott1719 Did you not read that the dialogue here is meant to be charitable, not idiotic? I mean what difference does it make since Morris taught wrong to begin with? It's like saying that if Todd came to this conclusion on his own it would be right when it would still be wrong. 🤷🏾♂️
Robert Morris encourages pastors to use his sermons and has even stated doesn’t matter if it’s verbatim.
Encourages pastors to not study…
@@Kdubtru , a good sermon is a good sermon. That's on a pastor if they only sample sermons and never actually study themselves.
@@Prayingman7is yes it is on a pastor, it demonstrates their laziness. They won’t study for themselves just take material from others. Especially bad material.
First we here about comedians stealing jokes to Pastors sermon. At least he should have gave Robert Morris credit
very interesting find!
A better statement is he doesn’t study “much” of the Bible. The main goal is props not exposition. 🙏🙏
I believe Mike Todd "consults" the Bible.
I believe he he comes up with a premise that fits his sermonh point (probably often taken from someone else's beliefs), he uses Bible software to qcuikly look up verses that contain the proper words and phrases to (aparently) fit his topic, and chooses one or two which he believes confirm or back up his point (even though 99.9 percent of the time those verses are taken far out of context).
this is crazy...i am not one to be outraged like others or when someone borrows an example but to not even change anything is WILD
Im disgusted with celebrity pastors. I can only imagine how the Father feels.
He took it word for word, 😳 🤦♀️ Jesus keep me near the cross
Sermon Ghostwriter is nasty work 😂😂
Now that you bring it up, I totally remember the steal...
There’s much more to this saga…
Shocked but not surprised. I’ve sat in a church where I listened to a plagerized sermon. This is more common than we realize. These Pastors know most church folks are lukewarm. The average Christian doesn’t read the Bible or listen to any sermons outside of Sunday morning service.
Unfortunately, you are correct.
Thank you for the All Things Theology channel. You are a true man of God that isn't afraid to speak the truth.
Stealing sermons shouldn't be a problem. as long as it strengthens the people.
Can you say verbatim....smh😮
🤦🏿♂️
2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
I agree, any reason why you left?
@@Kdubtru Well my wife and I left for a hand full of reason. One major one is the lack of sound doctrine. It gets frustrating to sit and hear the butchering of the word. So in this season we have left. However, I know we are still called to the people there.
When my pastor uses an analogy from someone else, he acknowledges and says it! Likeeee he could’ve just gave the author credit. We learn this in school lol
Come on guys, its hard being Mike Todd cut him some slack. You heard he hates preparing for sermons, he has to grow he's social media presence, hes trying to grow the Transformation Church brand, so what is he supposed to do?
Some so called pastors deserve to be mocked along with being called out. Every week he proves how unqualified and ridiculous he is.
Look at this NPC talking about mocking and ridiculing somebody 😂 !!
The doctrine of guilt tripping.
😮😮 almost word for word!!!
Are you for sure? That first Pastor is the leader of Mike and taught him everything about giving! He always said it
To his defense, he did say part of his sermons prep was to watch videos to see what everybody else is doing🤦🏾♂️
😂 Devils advocate
@@ListentoThestoryofHope, I can just imagine what his sermon prep is like. It’s like a kid trying to remember their Easter speech in the mirror.
"Basketball players play with basketball players." That's because they're COMPETING against each other. Who are in competition with Mike Todd?
He should have just been an actor, he can remember lines and perform a character.
Oh wow this is sick! This needs to go viral! To make all false prophets that do this trimble.
Word for word is CRAZY. My mouth is agate.. he ain’t even try and season it with his own words. This is INSANE 😅
Thank you for exposing this wolf.
Bro!!!! This is on every level scary.
WOW!!! Smh….when you think it can’t get worse with Mike Todd, he takes the nonsense to the next level! Pray, pray, pray for him 🙏🏽✝️🕊️
This actually not a shock to me in the grand scheme now that I think of it. Before he became Lead pastor he used bible stories he learned from "McGee and Me" and another show growing up as sermons. This was he started the "So Fly" youth ministry at his parents church . He said it in an interview and there is even an documentary on TH-cam about his rise to Lead Pastor.
Jeremiah 23:30-32
God is against false preachers who steal words from each other and claim that they are hearing directly from God to lean people astray.
This is insane.
I must say that if no one is feeding him through an ear bud, he has the best memory I have seen in a long time. He recites word for word.
I was just thinking that. He really studied this like he was trying to get an Oscar smh
Mike Todd's church is under the umbrella of Robert Morris & Gateway Church
Yeah he’s not stealing but preaching from A Blessed Life that Robert Morris allows as long as it’s referenced during service so that the proceeds collected go back to Gateway when books/workbooks are purchased.
@@Tsoprano27 Exactly which is why this isn't stealing. It's just the sharing of bad doctrine.

In one of Mike Todd's sermons, he literally said that if someone can do a better job that they can take over his position. I truly think he doesn't want to be a pastor, but doesn't want to step out of the spotlight either.
Keep doing these videos. It may help one person to see the truth about the wolves in sheep’s clothing they follow.
In the real world when you plagiarize, you get in trouble, but Mike Todd over here cheat and plagiarizing!
I’m glad you made this video.
"holy rebellion" is a total oxymoron... This guy is such an ear tickler
It’s so sad how he’s let power and $$$$$ lead him to the wrong path- i used to listen to his sermons when he was a pastor at the church in the hood- There were signs and the closer he got to building Transformation my heart was convicted- Pray for the lost😢💜
This Ninja is stealing sermons?!!👀👀👀 WOW!!!! Not only has he stoling this sermon, he's stealing a sermon based on bad theology dealing with tithing.

The Bible does not even command us to tithe.
He has no fear of god at all which is terrifying. He is literally playing with fire. Hopefully he repents and gets saved
Lol How embarrassing it must be as a pastor to be caught red handed stealing other pastors sermons! 😂🤣😭
Ridiculous! I pray he continues getting exposed. I have been a listener of Robert Morris for years. He’s got a lot of good material for him to steal from - from his sermons & books - there’s a lot. To steal word for word, without even mentioning his name, is just shameful!
Wow does he think we would not find out?
Even though Jesus Parable wasn't talking about tithing in that scripture. But Fact remains, Todd stole this mans sermon. Fake Mike Todd! He had me for a minute!!

This turned my stomach in a way that I have never experienced before. That parable isn't even about money at all. This makes me so sick.
Thank you for introducing me to Robert Morris. God bless Mike todd 🙏
Not only did he steal it but he did it worse
I mean no disrespect but Mike Todd dress a little effeminate..LORD forgive me
There is a pastor in Summerfield Florida who for the past 20 plus years has bought sermons, bumpers and notes puts his name on them and preachs them verbatim every week. When praised he's all in accepting praise for inspired work that isn't his. As of last week he's still at it. Shameful practice shameless pastor.
