Could you imagine Baker Mayfield pulling himself from the game after all the runs he made Sunday? Losing the number one pick for me as a Patriots fan was worth it because if we did lose that game Mayo would still be the head coach probably. No point of having the number one pick if we don’t have a coach that knows what to do with it. We have a generational QB. Bring in a coach that knows how to coach and Patriots will be back making a run for the playoffs cause of Drake
Also, not sure what Connor is talking about with the defense. They were a top 10 defense last year. and they tanked with the same personnel this year. Mayo constantly threw his players under the bus and does not deserve to be a head coach.

Chris ballard tried to talk pat out of retirement when he got hired but pat had already made a commitment to barstool sports and other things and had 3 knee surgeries his last 4 years in the league. He, like andrew luck after him, wanted to be able to live a life that resulted in less pain in his body. How you are in this comment section but don't know how pat even left the nfl proves you are a hater who doesn't like that pat tells it as he sees it.
coach and gm are too different of people. Its gonna really suck when one of them(probably coach) gets fired mid season, then the team, and more importantly, QB will have another set back. Fure one of them now
Pretty sure Irsay is planning this all to get Arch now he knows we will lose more games next year possibly if not the same amount and then fire gm coach hire new ones and force them to trade everything for the #1 pick and get Arch Manning
What makes you think Arch would come to Indy?? I don't think he would want to play for Indy.

For what they did with uncle Peyton
Never realized Ballard has been there since 2016 and was from the chiefs. This means Jim watched the team that was mediocre for years and said that’s the guy to build our team, and then watched the team that got rid of him become the greatest dynasty ever.
Kinda like how Andy Reid had a losing playoff record after 20 years in the league but then drafts this one guy in 2017 and now has 3 Super Bowls......You're as good as your QB - Had nothing to do with Ballard
@ yeah but it’s literally his job to find one. Andy was smart, drafted a qb and let him sit and develop. Ballard didn’t try he just paid 35+ year olds and expected them to find the fountain of youth before picking the least nfl ready qb prospect and threw him to the wolves with a bad team around him (which he also built btw)
The Chiefs are not a better dynasty than the Patriots. Not yet. I hate the Patriots but 6 Super Bowls is more than 4. They got 2 more to win before they even tie.
@alexalcera2912 so which qb could the Colts have drafted? Where did they pick in the 1st rd?
@@CL053DC45K37 read what I said, I didn’t say they shouldn’t have drafted him, but they shouldn’t have started him week one when he barely played in college so he couldn’t wasn’t experienced reading college defenses, let alone NFL defenses, and it was no secret that he couldn’t throw with accuracy and still can’t, but maybe if he got to learn at a slower pace he would have been able to sure up his mechanics instead of rehabbing his throwing shoulder 5 weeks into his career. They had the perfect bridge qb in minshew and it showed when they looked better after Richardson got hurt.
"You see how it was with IU." You can also see how Indy shows out when the Pacers are good too. Peyton and Reggie set the bar in this city. Maybe a little too high but it's the standards we are used too...
Im a Broncos fan. Weve both won super bowls. There is nothinf WRONG with expecting excellence from our teams. Its their MF JOB. All of them!!!
@ericgrimes341 💯💯
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result
Jim Irsay needs to pass his team to his children. He is not stable to be CEO of the Colts.
Yeah ok let's leave a sports business to women and expect it to turn around. They need to sell the team and let them relocate the team more south.
@@mikeymendez7060I agree, they definitely don’t know what to do with this organization. Atleast Jim worked as a GM before and has some understanding on what comes with the position.

Indy's issues are all because of that clown Irsay. He's a bad owner, he's a bad guy, and nothing will change until he's gone. His mental instability makes it difficult for the front office to properly do business.
No matter who's GM or who's coach, it'll be the same.
As a Cowboys fan, I have zero sympathy.
Love them working on the Raw set while Pat's on the air.
I wish Shane Steichen stayed with Herbert and the Chargers. He had Herbert playing phenomenally his rookie year and his playbook was perfect for Herb!
Lol....harbaugh will make herbert mvp statslike next season
Love Pat's takes on the Colts!! Please continue, amazing entertainment and rational analysis. Good job 👍
I can't believe I'm just noticing this but Bijan Robinson looks just like AJ Hawk😂
Pat should permanently adopt a podium with 3 microphones
Love ya pat keep cooking I'll always support the Colts and always support you as you have done for Indy
The toughest thing about being a sports fan is cheering on your team when they suck and make moves that dont make sense.
I don't know if Pat will ever admit it but having Andrew Luck retire at 29, getting booed, walking out of Lucas Oil Stadium absolutely destroyed the confidence in the team and fans of that franchise and it's going a very long walk in the woods. Indy is the Chernobyl of the NFL.
The curse of Robert and Jim Irsay. It starts with the owner.
That sums it up.
As a Texans fans, Irsay should keep Ballard forever. Colts ruined several of my days in childhood in the late 90s & 2000s, it’s been nice to not worry about them as an adult.
For anyone who is familiar, I'm bringin' back an unfortunate song from Bob n Tom---'Lord, help our colts!'
I hate being a Colts fan, God Bless Pat

Pat I've got your back!
finding a franchise qb is the hardest thing to do, the second is building a winning culture.. winning doesn’t make a culture and losing doesn’t define a culture.. we simply need better coaches in the nfl just as much as franchise qbs
Damn, I got a big ass head. D-Butt got 5 out of 7 snapped on his snapback and I got 2. Damn.
Damn that makes two of us lol
His head was a weapon in the league
I’m not blaming Steichen yet he’s doing the best he can with what he has
Great OC, mediocre HC
@@travistarr9433 Mediocre talent, mediocre line, mediocre defense, QB that cant read defenses or throw accurately, good but worn RB. 8-9 seems about par for the course. The coach can only do so much with mediocre talent. They need a real QB and better talent, not a new coach. Pat and others are under the impression the talent is there for this team, it's not. Every team in the league has 'some talent'. The Colts dont have enough, particularly because the talent they do have isnt enough to compensate for a RB posing as a QB. It's not going to work, get someone who can pass and read defenses.
@@Heathcoatman the lions smacked the taste out of minni with a 5th string defense. if you can't develop players and get them to buy in youll lose, no matter how talented you are. the players dont care and they wont until they get a coach who holds them to the fire.

Can't stand when ppl talk shi about Shane. When Frank was here we couldn't score more then 20pts Now that Shane's here thts a thing of the past. Stop blaming Shane guys
If I'm not mistaken Vrabel was available when the Patriots was looking for a HC before this current season even started right? So IF they are going with Vrabel then why did they not go with him before they chose Mayo? Just because the Team owner handpicked Mayo doesn't mean they have to go for him.
They hired mayo immediately after the season so too late to change his mind then lol
I drafted Luck in fantasy that last year he played as my starting QB late because he had missed the entire prior season and he very well could have started for me all year, but I had this backup named Mahomes who nobody was sure about and ended up being a must start. The kid did pretty good that season winning me a championship.
Thank you Pat for speaking up for Colts Nation. If you have a bad experience with a doctor, job, relationship, restaurant, you leave and find something better right? Why do we have to be loyal to these feckless millionaires and billionaires who have given us nothing but disappointment for years?
You right my guy 💪🏽
I still want to know how the Colts players can follow a QB that took himself out of a game because he was tired. Could you imagine Baker Mayfield pulling himself from the game after all the runs he made Sunday? You know he was tired but instead he stayed in threw a 37 yard strike to McMillan for a td in the corner of the end zone. The Colts need s new QB for sure. My brother is a Colts fan so I've been hearing about them for years.
Pat speak ur mind 😂 Im loving it
Shut up Tammy aka Shefty
Or Tammy aka Pat
Raiders fan here...I know exactly what you are talking about! Only it has been about 23 years for us!
As I’ve said in the past and I’ll keep saying, Jim Irsay needs to sell the team. He’s a poor man’s Jerry Jones, he tries to do too much meddling when he doesn’t know the intricacies of football. He needs to get rid of the GM, I’ll hold off on the HC because I’m sure Irsay has more to do with who plays and everything else that a HC should be doing.
Colts, Dolphins and Giants keeping their coaches signals that the NFL teams now settle for ‘subpar’ level performance…
Yeah and none of the other teams had there franchise qb retire at 29. It’s time for Ballard to move on but he was given a blow that no other team would have been able to fix either.
Daboll was given a mediocre qb he didn't really want but the coach and gm told him he had to play him. Mcdaniels has done what he can in miami but doesn't help his qb is made of paper machete

Im a Broncos fan. McDaniels hung 70 on us last year. When you list Miamis problem McDaniels isnt top 5…
Honestly, the best part about being a Cowboys fan is the Colts’ tendency to say “hold my beer” when it comes to blunderheaded personnel decisions
You think Drake Maye is a generational QB? You have brain damage
Also, not sure what Connor is talking about with the defense. They were a top 10 defense last year. and they tanked with the same personnel this year. Mayo constantly threw his players under the bus and does not deserve to be a head coach.
@@yayasquirrelthey absolutely deteriorated over the course of this season and definitely played under expectations across the board defensively.

I felt like when it was public knowledge that players were late to team meetings and it was commonplace that someone should be held accountable 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻
Pat not just a former player hes a colts fan too i 100% agree with him we need leadership and the colts dont have it been a colts fan my entire life my father works for them for 28 plus years
I don’t think Ballard and Steichen are the problem. We needed a new to defensive coordinator and we did that. We just need more accuracy out of Richardson and a better secondary. I do feel like if things don’t improve next season it will be time to replace Ballard.
Pat spits them facts, obv. I live in walking distance of the stadium, see it every time I walk out of my front door.. Chris Ballard has deprived me of enjoying the once beautiful view..Jim ain't helping.. and our players play.. smh. None of this is acceptable. I will support my city and the ppl in it. But this team is now become a joke. And I refuse to keep defending this. I'm nobody to call someone else soft specifically.. but this team.. you KNOW what you are. On paper. On the field. I can only afford to go to a game or two a year. But this painted face will stay home next year. And it's a sick brave heart face. I don't hate all of them. But you step on enough bad apples, eventually you will look for a different orchard. Be better, clowns.
It was over once Kraft & Mayo had their first joint press conference. Kraft said he didn’t see race. Mayo said he Always see race. That was the beginning of the end.
Only thing that makes sense is Ballard has a Freak Off tape of Irsay somewhere!!!!!!!!
I think Ballard is his drug dealer
Haha you actually might be onto something.
Colts fans can now feel what it is like being a Dallas Cowboys fan
Mayo as DC in Indy! Maybe Mayo is what the defense needs in the locker room. And then he can take over as HC when SS has another subpar season.

It's annoying that this even has to be pointed out. $18 billion in revenue, and a third of the league is like this.
They are thieves using myself, husband and daughters. This is ours and they act as if we shouldn't have it.
Never a good sign when you release a statement saying you’re not firing staff. Chiefs don’t make a statement saying their keeping Andy Reid as head coach every year

Shane Steichen is a phenomenal play caller
Pat doesn’t have the stones to call out the root of the problem… JIM IRSAY

Man, Pat is the best investment WWE could have ever made.
Everyone like to talk about how bad the Jets or Panthers organizations are, but the Colts are right there too!
This isn't about whether you are a "good person" or not. The success/failures at their job are not a reflection of who they are as human beings.
lol Colts wanted to keep them just to spite Pat 😂
I tried to warn my fellow Colts fans to not get their hopes up. I think Ballard and Steichen are pretty tied to AR. If AR gets another year, they weren’t getting fired. Gus Bradley was never coming back. Sometimes I hate being right.

As a Texans fan, I'm totally on board with this decision.
Gus Bradley *was* fired from Colts, so they didn't do nothing I guess 😅😂
Imagine not winning the AFC South as GM and still employed
The colts have been drafting well so the Gm is fine but keeping the coach is insane
The Colts only have had 3 Pro Bowlers, 0 division titles, and opened the season with 6 different QBs since Andrew Luck retired.
The way Irsay threw out Peyton... the Mannings will not let Arch be a Colt.
Funny part would be Archie pulling an Eli and refusing to play at indy!😂😂

As a titans fan, the AFC South has got to be the most dysfunctional division in the entire league. All 4 teams are almost always mediocre or terrible. It’s painful being a fan of these teams.
First, he lived and raised his children in Denver. Secondly, one of the all-time greats was released by this organization. Third, the way this organization looks right now, would you want to be around it.
Can’t believe Ballard kept his job
Imagine if colts hired billachick. It would have been fitting for everyone. Billachick could finish on the same team he got his start with. I think a team with a solid QB and good roster in win now mode should go all in on bill.
And I saying all this and I hate bill but he deserves to be a HC
This is my last year as a Colts fan. Im done with this terrible organization. I will be looking forward to a brighter future.
I forgot that Philip Rivers was a Colt for a season. Damn shame that he was never able to win a Super Bowl.

Nah, Pat wasn't going to keep playing into that bs & besides I'm pretty sure Franklin was who Buckner was talking about in his interview earlier when he said players need to check their egos at the door
He is more pumped up about doing some stupid podcast, than his job.
Uncle Mcafee what's your thoughts on the Fox sports 1 parties about joy Taylor and skip balyess 😂.....
Irsay can keep the management and when it fails again next season, he’ll fire them, then he’ll still be making the right decision. Just a little later than needed.
Jim wants Colts fans to be rewarded with “division titles and playoff runs”
I thought he said multiple super bowls this decade?
Idk i think its all on richardson after this. I like ballard and steichen and his offensive creativity. We need consistency at qb and need a new DC and pass coverage.
