Its like this in other tcgs as well like OP and DBS but the idea is, first player draws an extra card and the second player gets an extra energy. Unfortunately drawing an extra card isn't nearly as good as it is in other tcgs
Depends on your deck. Going first, putting down Exeggcute on turn one and evolving to Exeggutor lets you start hitting for up to 80 by your second turn.
So glad someone is bringing attention to the Koga package! Been playing it since day one and it's been a blast. Personally, I've been running more of a combo-oriented plan with Meowth and 2x X-Speed to draw extra and buy time to setup for Muk to actually pop-off. Probably not as strong overall, but it sure is fun! Wheezing poison, Koga to get Muk out and snag a kill on an EX, and the next turn you can double speed and retreat Wheezing for one, poison the new mon, and Koga again to win the game.
People understimate the thanks currency. You can buy 6x booster hour glasses for every 12 you have. Thats a few extra packs a day if people actively send you thanks and you play enough matches. Its a grind but can help f2p players for sure. I do hope a ladder comes sooner than later
@ultrabeige not 100% sure when the shop resets but I assume every 24 hours. Which is like 1:30/2am est for me. I believe I got 1x 12 and a few single hour glasses today just from thanks through battles. But I didn't hit a purchase limit, I hit a limit gaining the currency from getting thanks. You can also gain the currency battling the AI so that's a decent amount of pulls if you go through it. Between the two methods to gain that shop currency, I pulled over 10 packs easily today. But even just 2 extra packs a day is great. Which will likely be closer to reality when you run out of the rewards from fighting the ai
I don't have 2 muks, so I've been running just 1 grimer/1 muk and it still does really solid work. Honestly i dont even know if it needs more than that since weezing is the star anyways. The deck takes more thought than initially is obvious but it's so fun
Ive been running similar, but I've run pidgeot line instead of muk, it feels crazy good. Unwinnable against marowak machamp but I have won against every single other deck except one starmie deck. 34-5 now, 4 fighting 1 starmie loss...
I think you go drop arbok if you're going the muk route and put in farfetch/dodrio(free retreat) and if it's the arbok route we can splash in pidgeot. Either way both are fun decks.
@@cefrilupianto9761 I run one Ekans you don't seem to ever need two, gives you one more spot for red card, x speed or your chosen item/supporter. Then I run wheezing full line and Pidgey full lines 2 koga professor, and pokeballs is my deck works very well. If you want another item you can take Pidgey to one card, guarantees better pokeball hits if you can draw them.
I've been playing and hyping this deck up for a while now! I love arbok! But in all honesty I think muk is too much of a liability. I'd rather replace the lines with potions/xspeeds/red cards or a combination of them
I've been playing a deck similar but pideot line instead of muk. Cheap retreat, 70dmg 2 energy, and the control of having sabrina when ever you want. Works great maybe try it out, would love to see that variant piloted by someone who is proficient I feel like i miss play against pikachu. Hate that deck. Lol
Yeah, this is the exact deck I was aiming to make from the start. The vast majority of my packs were Mewtwo, and I still had to craft 2 Koga and 2 Ekans to complete it. I just couldn't pull them so I used pack points.
Evolving also removes poison
Going second seems to give you a HUGE advantage, how the heck do they balance that?

Probs should give first player energy but lock out attacking 1st turn.
For an energy tempo boost and an attack temp malice.
With the introduction of more trainer cards and maybe double energies if they make it a thing it will balance out
Allow energy to be attached turn one but no attack
Arbok, Muk, Weezing goes hard together ☣️

@@MidkniteXO the shop does not reset, it has limited stock of those hour glasses
The hourglasses don’t reset
Your face watching this strategy on work is like first time tasting a candy. I love it!
This was my deck from the beginning...I just love it!
I just started using it. I just need the Muk!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one calling him pot of greed
I use a varient without Muk. Its been consistent for me and honestly my favourite deck to play as well
Same I just run arbok and wheezing and have been getting wins consistently
Man earned a sub and my respect just by saying "pot of greed"

Koga offers full heal to the cards too
18:34 Ooooh was wondering if the fossils would give a point for koing them good to know
in a world filled with Mewtwo's this deck might be our only hope
They finally made arbok good in a pokemon game. Yes
Tournament Champ used this sans Muk and added some items instead. Very powerful against the MewTwo Meta.
I was using this one for all of the Mewtwo deck's out there and it works wonders! They don't see it coming hahah

Pidgeot - Arbok must work great together

Lmao I just made that comment about pideot. Shoulda read the comments first.
How's the composition?

Arbok Pidgeot is also a good deck if you have not tried it. Arbok is so much better than it looks at a glance
I added ninoking in cuz I love his art and he poisons too

This video made me realize out of my no lie 1600 cards I don’t own (1) Muk ..😂
I want to play this nooow! Never been this excited for a mobile game :D
I just need the 2 Muk and I'm ready to go
pot of greeds is here, change my mind.
Anu replacements for Muk other than Pidgeot? I dont own any 😅
4:21 wait Dekks we need answers. Whats up with Muk? 🤔
pretty solid deck!
Muk asks too much energy, its kinda hard to combo with him
Is there any chance this pokemon tcg pocket version going to PC like marvelsnap?
can you try arbok weezing pidgeot deck :D
Slowpoke my beloved
What about Pidgeot instead of grimer?
you dont need muks in this deck. they slow because of mana issue. weez and arbok enough

Muk one shots a poisoned mewtwo ex, js
Koga is so strong 😮💨
Muk and Grimer seems a bit useless in your matches. Might as well cut them and put some item and support cards
I cannot for the love of god open for a koffing and i focused my packs on opening mewtwo ex 😂

@@RoaringTidegot lucky on a wonder pick pulling one koffing. Had to craft another one to complete it but i realized i am missing 1 muk.
What's the doggie's name?
Still your favorite?

Instead Arbok try with Greninja
