  • Here is the video I made in the middle of making the fuel filter video on the same mower. Let’s see how many terminology errors You can count! I counted I think 3, LOL! I apologize for the view of my back, I will get better at camera angles etc as I go. Have a great day everyone, and stay safe!!!

Awesome man! Keep up the good work! Sometimes you can actually adjust the auto choke system! I've done it before.

Originally the owner had it all messed up. I adjusted the original one within the marks, but still was malfunctioning. Replacement was definitely the way to go. Plus it gave me a reason to make another video, LOL!

Installed as you suggested , pulled and cleaned carb ,still no joy . Is it possible the exhaust is plugged ? When I pulled the exhaust muffler the bolts were caked in soot . It goes without saying it was on my hands ,clothes and face I looked like a chimney sweep

You were talking about a line up tab on the shroud, but I couldn’t see what you were talking about ( it was of camera ) . I have a lot of trouble lining those shrouds up but how did u do it ? Nice vid !

Sorry for the late reply, I just got the notification now. On the plastic air vane their should be two bump marks forward of the thermostat, and to the side. The air vane wraps around the front of the thermostat, and then the thin arm on the front of the thermostat is adjustable. Carefully bend the thin thermostat arm so it fits within those marks on the air vane. Hope that helps. I didn’t realize my terrible video skills till after I posted it up.

Ah, yeah those are fairly simple too. So if you look at the piece that is attached to the motor you will see the two slots, and the middle is slightly offset. When placing the shroud, it should fit snug with the offset gripping it. I don’t remember off hand if the middle section is bent in, or out. I don’t have any 6.75ex engines in the shop right now to look, but it should be somewhat obvious.
