What they said is the mt225 is the only model with aluminum case. LS is supposedly making 2024 and newer alloy case. Is this not true?
"Metal vs ALUMINUM " /= WHAT? FYI; ALUMINUM is Metal. Like wise steal is metal. Cast Steel ,Ductile Iron,& Cast Iron ( All of which are "alloyed" with something)are METAL ALSO!!! There are "alloys" of (metal) Aluminum, Magnesium, Zinc-copper,Phosphorus (aka.Pot-metal). So ,Where are we AT with the TRANSMISSION HOUSING Material Composition???? Die-cast,vacumed cast,investment cast,or hyperectudic cast???

Im about to buy a LS mt225s with backhoe,,a few posts i have seen about frame cracking on 225s when backhoe is added?? Anything to worry about

ruatrainman2 the MT225S does not have a DPF system. A backhoe is available, you can contact your local dealer for current pricing.
Anything under 25hp doesn't require dpf

@@tacroom12 the MT1’s also have aluminum transmission case. We haven’t seen any failures yet.
