I love that all 3 generations love Home Free. I see this at their concerts too. These guys attract such a diverse audience.

In my opinion, Home Free is the best--period. It's easy to forget they are completely acapella and make all "instrumental" sounds themselves.
In this song they are making a distinctly southern (country blues/bluegrass) presentation--it definitely fits the lyrics of the song. Chance doing the jaw harp sound really sets the stage for this song's story, which Austin's twang fits phenomenally. Tim's bass line completely grounds the harmonies and Adam's voice percussion simply cannot be beat. This performance highlights a lot of Home Free's strengths although they also handle ANY other genre just as amazingly❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Austin, with the luscious red hair, has been writing some amazing originals for the band to sing. Ever since learning new production skills during the year they were separated by Covid, they've just been sky-rocketing with originals. Love that you are 3 generations sharing Home Free's amazing talents! Have you done "When a Man Loves a Woman"? Austin carries that one to the heights.

This is one of the most popular Home Free songs. It was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies, Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.

7:09 another song to check out the “nomonica” is “Working for a Living”. I figure Adam’s brother Chris made Adam eat a drum kit when he was little so he could start a music group with him.

The song was originally published in 1913 and later covered by Bob Dylan and Joan Baez among others. No matter what they sing, they'll always sound a little 'country' because 3 of them are from southern U.S. states (Austin - south Georgia; Tim - southeast Texas; Chance - Alabama; both Rob & Adam are from Minnesota). In their videos of "Working for a Living" and "Ain't Going Down" Adam plays lots of no-monica!

Wasnt sure if u noticed but the jawharp sound (the twangy sound that started in beginning and went theu whole song) was dine by adam chance (the baritone) who was standing in back next to adam (the beatboxer)

This was filmed in Alabama. Yes it was raining during filming. Really gives it that authentic feel doesn't it?
The center singer in this video is Austin Brown, and yes, his hair is luscious, like you said.

The one on the left is Rob Lundquist, tenor, the center is Austin Brown, high tenor and on the right Tim Foust, bass to tenor (5 octaves). In the back, on the left Adam Chance (known as Chance) baritone, but also can sing bass to tenor(4 octaves) and of course, on the left Adam Rupp, beatboxer extraordinaire. Chance sings bass when Tim leads.

Probably Austin is who the luscious-haired guy is, the main singer here. Although Adam the beatboxer has grown his hair out lately in recent videos and has a nice mane too. You can see it in their cover of Delta Dawn and the recent video Playing with Fire which was written by Austin.

You ladies are fun! Austin Brown's hair is quite, uhm, noteworthy. 😂 Y'all will need to watch some of HF's more recent videos where Austin doesn't have it on a bun or ponytail; the hair is halfway down his back and curly.

Lulu, you're talking about Austin Brown, with the luscious hair. 😂
I'll help you with their names.
Austin Brown is the high tenor.
Rob Lunquist is the lead tenor.
Adam Chance (or just Chance) is the baritone/bass
Tim Foust is the deep bass.
Adam Rupp is the beat boxer.

    • @nancyholter5646
      @nancyholter5646 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

I don't know if "prefer" is the right word for me, I'm not a percussion junky like my sister so I don't love any of them, but I think the old one showcases his abilities more readily. The talent to use the loop stations like he does is undeniable, but his drums, etc., are showcased more in the red shirt one.
