- It's Comments Day and today I'm looking at your reactions to the news that Oasis are reuniting
for a series of shows across the UK and Ireland. It's not all nice, but what is? Apologies for some of the leaky sound on this video. It was filmed at a rooftop restaurant (nice) but there was some honking from nearby (not nice). See?

My ideal Oasis line up would be a couple of palm trees, a verdant bush or two plus a rippling pond of crystal clear water.
everyone’s entitled to an opinion; yours just happens to be sh*te
In my Oasis, Noel is a hamburger and Liam is a hot dog. I eat them both so that I don't have to hear them argue about which of them is a tastier holiday treat.
My lineup would be Bonham on drums and JPJ on bass and ten other things. Page on guitar and plant on vocals.
Ha ha ha pmsl Classic 😆

Brilliant comments video, I hope the patrons in that small bird named restaurant realised they were in the presence of sarcastic greatness
The Michael Hutchence incident was quite frankly appalling. M H was one of the greatest frontman ever , he deserved respect. May be rest in peace.
Nah he deserved it he said he was gunna slap liam, lian even ssys as they go up iv heard micheals gunna give me a slap so come on, thats why micheals face dropped, dnt let ur mouth right checks your body cant cash.
That was horrendous, lost a lot of respect for a Noel that day
Saw INXS in 1990 and what a show, still listen to them now. Oasis? Fuck will never come close. Arrogant little pricks
If you listen carefully to INXS song elegantly wasted, they sing elegantly wasted, we’re better than oasis 😂😂😂😂
Noel is a clown it was never Liam to diss others unless somebody criticised him or the band
Was in the queue from 9:00 - 15:00. The only tickets I could get (I needed 2) amounted to over £700.00. That was just for ground floor general admission. Nah. I love Oasis and all that - but I can’t justify that amount for a 90 minute set. I’ll go on holiday instead.
£700!? F**k that!
Exactly the same experience. EXACTLY. Was £358.10 take it or leave it when i finally ‘entered the promised land’.
I left.
F**K that indeed😯

I've never seen Oasis, and having never seen them has never been a problem to me, so I'll carry on having never seen them.
I nearly saw them once, but I didn’t in the end.
5 hours in the queue for Edinburgh only to be asked to shell out over £500 per ticket stuck away in the far corner of the stadium. I do like them but not that much.
Really? I went to see them at Heaton park in 2009 and the ticket only cost £38
@@paulhynes170 £355 for standing tickets at Heaton this time around, absolute joke!
@@ljevo1234 that’s outrageous
@@ljevo1234 they've just put a naught on to last price havent they!
It's been 5 hours since I gave up after seeing the prices and I am still FUCKING fuming. Fair enough if they said beforehand that the prices were going to be £500 before hand, I would'nt have wasted my time. Seeing the pricing tiers they released the other day. I was like a bit expensive but you know what I can pay that. Wait in a queue for 4 hours to see it's fucking dynamic pricing so the tickets are in demand so fucking tickets are just crazy prices. They say "oh this is for the fans, it's what they've been asking for for years". Shut the fuck up it's just a cash grab on top of the millions they were already going to get.
Fuck em hope the shows don't get ahead.
That was great. You should do a tour of restaurant rooftops for upcoming "Comments Day"
Yea a rooftop review from every city you play on a tour.
Just spent 6 hours in a queue for tickets and when it was my turn it didn't work. Thanks Ticketmaster 🤣
On some browser it didn’t show the time out counter like duck duck go go, so if you were sat discussing which ticket to buy you might not have seen the count down timer… at this point you’re basically out
Exactly why I didn't bother with tickets. The queue was over 6 hours for a gig that will last 5 hours. That's quite perverse
Happened to me and only seen the count down timer on iPhones from other people complaining at the prices on daily mail. But didn’t see it on desktop browser…
Same as my daughter this morning when she joined the queue was 58,000 got to number when when the site disconneted her. She tried again started of at number 29,000 got as far as selecting the number of tickets when the site ended her session. Other attempt just kept getting errors. She has decided it is not worth the hassle

Was in the Ticketmaster queue for the Dublin show this morning. Was waiting so long they announced that the band had broken up again
I remember Noel once commenting about old sold out rock stars, something like, if I do that
later in life, just shoot me.
Ha Ha, I'd love to find a clip of it.
I remember that he said he didnt wanna be like the stones touring when hes 60 aswell might of been same interview
Noel would've been a pikey if not for musuc
He's a cringeworthy muppet, he called Ed Miliband a communist because he wanted to tax him 45% on his stolen song fund. An absolute helmet of a man, working class traitor.
He should have talked to at least one of The Who. Wasn't like the precedent wasn't out there...
@@strangeexchange1it’s weird because the Stones do not need the money. They’re that age and still playing because they enjoy it, it seems to keep them pretty healthy considering everything. It’s just them going out and having fun. Same as Paul MacCartney. He -really- doesn’t need the cash.
This has to be the best comments video i have ever seen, you are sharply hilarious. If i was in U.K or Ireland next year and had a spare 1000 at the moment, i would probably not spent it on Oasis cash grab, i am sure it will be epic, but rather go see Justin Hawkins

Last night I dreamt I saw Noel sitting in front of me in the audience at a concert. I went and told him that I'm sorry to intrude but he's one of my biggest heroes, and asked if it's ok to just ask him one musical question. He just glanced at me for a split second and said "grow up", then went back to ignoring me. And I think that's pretty much exactly how it would go in real life too.
I doubt it. I had a real world experience with him aboard a British Airways flight from Manchester to Toronto, where he was doing an acoustic set with Gem at Massey Hall. I told him he was a huge influence on my musical tastes and, in fact, inspired me to get into guitar playing. We talked a bit and, when he asked if I was going to his show and I said I'd missed out on tickets, he offered me (his handlers took care of it) two of them and told me he'd see me there the next night. The in between talk was all about football, other musicians and his favourite places to play (which included Canada). A really nice guy all in all.
That's why you never kiss these people's asses. Just let them be.
Noel seems to be alright. As long as you are genuine with him and not fangirling you know.
Justin, that was a brilliant lesson in sarcasm. Loved it.
I’m just happy that it’s happening. Hopefully this gets guitar music back in the charts.
I hope so too.
I hope they don’t do it - big stupid rip off

I know what he meant about oasis being more than the brothers. If the darkness was just Dan and Justin it wouldn’t feel the same without rufus and Frankie. It’s the team and their interactions, their blend of personalities and how they each have a role within the band beyond just their musicianship. P.s the darkness are legends!!!! Bloody brilliant music and great people

Great band but let’s not forget they were the 2nd band of the 90s
They won the single battle fair enough but it’s not like roll with it was oasis’s best song of the period.

Outstanding episode Justin, so much energy! 🔥
He nailed the tune on the intro theme song 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I thought so too. I like the tune, man, short snappy catchy but freakin’ nicely weird too! And I like the purposely pompous and self-important catch phrase “Tis I Justin Hawkins”. Plus I just like what he can do breaking down the melodies of songs on rock albums I interested in and really like that mostly in spite of his sarcasm he is funny enthusiastic and positive on most of what he chooses to review. Don’t really know his own music but bet it’s also quite well done.
Glad you wore a jacket Justin. Noel was a knob saying that to hutchence, yet Liam was always considered the big mouth. I had an experience with a civic with a massive spoiler and exhaust that sounded beyond the engines power capacity.
Hey Hawk!
A restaurant named after a small bird? Who names their restaurant "The Jimmy Kranky"?? Oh, those urbanites, is there no end to their creativity?
Wait.... Oasis are reunioning? That's nice, good to see brothers getting along :)
As for my perfect, Oasis line-up? Keith Moon on drums... Jason Newsted on the slapping of the bass guitar.... Elvis Presley on rhythm guitar.... Jeff Lynn on guitar and vocals.... and Joan Baez on lead vocals.... that would be stellar and I'd pay 600 quid to see that!!
Anyhoo... cya :)
Looking stylish! The jacket, the shades, the jewelry...love it all.
Hey! I heard your song a thing called love in the fall guy during a fight scene. way fun!! Comments are my favorite. Wish you did these more often. so much fun
I love how much Oasis annoy some people - like they REALLY piss them off...Makes me love them all the more...
That shows great fidelity. I always found them pretty much boring as a blank wall. But high fidelity fandom? I can prop that
Yeah, I remember wearing an Oasis T-Shirt years ago and random people just giving me death stares. Absolute weirdos!!
It's a shame that Michael Hutchence passed because they could have gotten him to introduce them and welcome them to the has-been club.
This.
My thoughts exactly.
100% agree. I reckon by today’s standards; if he was still alive INXS would’ve had a comeback & they’d have sorted things out as part of the has-beens club.
Id rather see INXS with Michael Hutchence than Oasis any day.
Bwahahahhahahahaha - cry more.
Justin, have you done a video about Ticketmaster before? What’s your opinion about buying tickets online and should we go back to buying tickets at the venue?
The band of the "working class" - Oasis ticket £148 2025, Oasis 1997 £18 (year after Knebworth), inflation would make that £33 in 2024, just pure greed.
The fact that all the tickets instantly sold out sort of justifies the price. If people are willing to pay, they are willing to jack the prices up
£5 1994 ish newcastle riverside 5 songs all kicked off gig over brilliant night 😂
@@TheKingOfBeans stop trying to justify pure greed because "people will pay it".
@@TheKingOfBeans Not really because more shows will be announced soon, it was (as usual with this lot from the beginning) marketing, hype and FOMO.
The bigger problem is the legalized scalping that drove those £148 tickets up to over £500.
Here's me having a pop at you - Big fan of The Darkness and have NOW discovered JHRA and am addicted! LMFAO!! Keep it coming (sang that three octaves higher than i'm capable of...off to see the doc). Respect (that was bass-tenor).

I never once considered those Honda guys existed everywhere. How funny
They are huge in Ohio it’s such a joke they literally think they’re fast and the furious
They were really popular on SoCal freeways. They’re called “rice burners” and sound like souped up lawnmowers.
That one In London was a surprise.

I think I'll stick to remembering them from Knebworth which I was lucky enough to witness! If you're into your 90s music we run a podcast dedicated to 90s Indie music with interviews from bands from that time, it's a nostalgia fest!
Still looking forward to the whistling album. Thank you, Justin.
Could have gone to the Duck and Waffle at the Salesforce Tower for a spectacular view of the London skyline. Oasis reunion tour has descended into chaos as fans compete with an army of bots to secure tickets, crashing websites and triggering the price boosting mechanisms on ticket sites.
