Since ancient fruits only appear every seven days, frequent visits to Ginger Island are not required. It works well with the time that it takes for wine to process in kegs. Yeah, I was doing the math awhile ago trying to calculate the average value of all the products from lava eel and blobfish ponds, comparing them against each other. It’s actually very close, but lava eel does come out on top by a bit. Lava eel is a bit more work though as you need to smelt the gold and crack the lava geodes. Actually, now that I think about it I forget to account for the cost of the coal for the smelting and the 25g for each geode cracking. It’s probably still slightly better than blobfish though if you get decent geode cracks. Blobfish is less hassle though.
Dinosaurs are only around 350g a week. Why would you use them? Chickens give the same amount per week. Planting one starfruit every 13 days is more profitable than a dinosaur.

It's still profitable to put gold and iridium mushrooms in the deydrator if you have the artisan profession.
I like fishponds a lot. I use them instead of fences around barns and coops, as they don't decay.
i prefer a massive ancient fruit plantation.

I'm on the switch. 47 lava eel ponds. 120 dinosaurs. It generates between 30 - 60 aged roe and around 20 dino eggs. All done before noon.
Dinosaur eggs are only going to be better for you when 1.6 comes to Switch. They got some major buffs.

Pretty nice video! 👍would be nice if the tapper profession gave the tappers an increase in speed, from 7 days to like 6 or 5.
Another cool method is starting a Dino farm
Make sure to read the book that increases artifact sell prices! Then sell the eggs as is.
