At 4:45, I'm sure other people have said this before, but, I always choose the mushroom cave because it's the easiest way to get morels. I don't want to have to walk all the way to the secret woods to get them, and only in the spring. In the older version, I could make a million life potions. For multiple reasons the mushroom cave is even with the dehydrator really really bad: Mushroom logs exist now and give you specific mushrooms so they are much better than the things inside the mushroom cave. if you are in the late game and have enough money to buy loads of star fruit, i suggest buying 650+ star fruit and filling up the entire ginger island farm! Starfruit wine is the best item to place into a cask. Putting starfruits into a dehydrator is really bad. With dehydrator you get about 1,5x as much per base quality starfruit. This means its 0 win/0loss for gold quality starfruits and even a loss if you put iridium quality in it. Dehydrator is good if you want to get rid of a huge amount of crops or regular shoorms like in the mushroom cave. For example if you plant hundrets of blueberries or cranberries, they are way too much and low profit on their own to put them into kegs, but for the dehydrator its great to turn the low quality ones into profit.
@@AlienGurke Yeah and the starfruit wont be ready to harvest before you can collect the wine anyways. Meaning there shouldn't be much downtime. To those who did not understand the mathy part of the video, I am here to explain and sort of try to give a visual. Ancient fruit: it takes approximately 28 days for ancient fruit to grow and 7 days for it to regrow. Now if you put that in a keg, and wait another 7 days, you will make ancient wine. Which the base price of ancient wine is 1,650. So in total, you would have to wait about 14 days for the ancient fruit to regrow and to have it processed into wine. Star fruit: it takes approximately 13 days for star fruit to grow. Then another 7 days for the star fruit to be processed into wine. Which its base price is 2,250. This fruit also needs to be replanted. So in total, you would have to wait around 20 days to have it completely processed into wine. Sweet gem berry: while the sweet gem berry cannot be placed in a keg or any other machines, its base price does sell for around 3000. Although this fruit does take a majority of a season to grow. Mead: Mead is made from honey, which takes about 10 in game hours in the keg to make mead. If you choose to use fairy rows to make your honey, the base price is actually around 680, but it does take 12 days for it to grow 1 flower. After the flowers fully grown, it will reproduce honey every four days, and about one in game day to produce one thing of mead. So in total per season(p/s)- 1 Ancient Fruit = 3300 p/s 1 Star Fruit = 2250 p/s 1 Sweet Gem Berry = 3000 p/s 1 Mead = 3400 p/s So in the end she is right, but it requires a lot of work to go from the bee house to the kegs. In my personal experience and my opinion, I think ancient fruit is probably one of the best fruit to do because it can grow in three seasons, and it regrows every 7 days.
At the end of the day 99% of "Endgame" farming is going to be Ginger Island West (GIW) as not having to deal with seasons pretty much automates Ancient Fruit Wine. That being said there is plenty of space west of the river to set up beehives on fairy rose so it can be both options. Unless you plan on doing some sort of insane money challenge GIW will give you all of the money you realistically need. RE the math: once you start doing the math on megafarms for challenge runs the main problem becomes being able to get to everything during the day. Something like Beehives on a 4 day turn around means more days you have to spend time managing your farm and fewer days you can be doing other profitable activities. Long-form crops minimize the time investment opening you up to doing something else.
I think your math is a little off for the Ancient Fruit. The Ancient Fruit doesn't have to wait for the keg to finish to regrow. So after the initial batch is done, you'll actually be pumping out the Ancient Fruit Wine on a weekly basis.; since the next harvest will be ready about the same time as the wine. So, for the first season, 1 Ancient Fruit will get you 4950 and every season after that will get you 6600. If my math is right, then 1 Ancient Fruit planted on the first of Spring on a normal farm will be making you roughly 3850 p/s (accounting for the 0 AFW in Spring, 3 AFW in Summer, and 4 AFW in Fall ), until it wilts in Winter.
Something to note when planting outside on your farm is that ancient fruit has two harvesting seasons after one season to grow on top of the weekly wine. Of course this don't matter in the greenhouse or on Ginger Island.
4:59 yes it’s clear now: the fruit cave is much better because it only gives you a not that op dehydrator, but there are now special blocks that let you farm mushrooms without wasting your cave YOU HAVE TO VISIT DAILY FOR BAD USELESS ITEMS. Meanwhile in the fruit cave you can get everything in iridium quality (not with the useless cavevariant)
With just 2 mods you can set up an automatic fish smoker system. You will need the mods "fishnets" and "automate" fishnets lets you build fishnets that work just like the crab pots but catch location appropriate fish. Than you will need to craft 5 fishnets, 1 wormbin, 1 recycler, 1 kiln, 1 fish smoker, and 1 chest. Place the nets in the water with all of the machines touching either a net or another machine. Than put the chest touching a machine and accessible to you. The worm bin will produce 5 bait each day automate will move them into the nets. The nets will catch fish or trash automate than moves that to the chest Any trash will than be cycled thru the recycler by automate with products being drooped into the chest torches, stone, ore, cloth, and refined quartz can be remove and taken to the farm for use or sold wood will sit in the chest untill you build to 10 units than it will be cycled thru the kiln charcoal along with a fish will cycle thru the smoker with smoked fish being deposited into your chest this can be easly scaled by adding more machines
Fishing setup for lots of Cash: - Advanced iridium fishing rod with preserving enchantment - Deluxe bait (from deluxe worm bins) - Trap / Cork bobber (Trap bobber is recommended though) - Curiosity lure for a higher chance to catch Legends (Quality bobber instead if you don't have any curiosity lures) - Golden quality seafoam pudding for +5 fishing skill - Angler and Artisan professions for the highest sell price for smoked Legend II (31.5K for every Legend II) With this setup, about 40 - 50 Legend IIs can be caught in total for the 3 days of the quest Edit: I changed the setup to this after the experiment, comparison, and analysis of the profit from the new setup and the previous one
@@AlienGurke Seafoam budding and cork bobber increase the fishing bar size but idk how the effect of reduced waiting time will increase the no. of Legend IIs (time reduced by 67%) maybe I'll try the deluxe bait as I have lots of it also curiosity lure can be useful as it increases the chance of catching a Legend II to 20% instead of 10%
@@-ElMaistro67891 trap bobber is must have, otherwise its way to risky. Quality Bobber is my next pick for iridum quality. They are both easy to craft tho. But i think curiosity lure does make sense if you have some left instead of quality bobber, since 2 gold quality is more worth than 1 iridium quality. You need a bit more coal but that shouldnt matter too much. So reducing the bait time isnt a better choice instead of this combo (Trap Bobber + Curiosity Lure/Quality Bobber). Deluxe bait does make a great job and increases the size and you get them infinte with the duluxe worm bin.
1.6 actually cemented fruit bats as the best cave as the mushrooms are largely just outdone by the logs and the dehydrator isnt hard to acquire when you want to be using them and as such the perk of being able to use the cave for anything else actually makes bats better due to not being able to remove the mushroom boxes. Also with regards to automate, you can actually make it even better by using jumino chests to automate your honey into the sheds with kegs effectively making it fully automated...
Modded flower meads and giant flower crops made me realize how absolutely cracked it up would be. I promptly ditched my ancient fruit field and tried out every flower variant I could find - pretty, and it makes between 800k to almost 3 mil (depends on if I remember to check on all the giant flowers or not)
Protip: there is only one cave jelly. Step 1: Go to cave. Step 2: Fish. Tadaaaa. It replaces trash, so just go to the location for whatever jelly you want(cave, ocean, river) and fish normally. It will come in time
Fruit cave is still a better option because of the preserve jars. It would take less time in early game play to make a batch then it would to make another dehydrator.
My profit is currently at 5 million. I am aware that it is still a small profit compared to what others can attain, but I stopped thinking about profit and started decorating my farm and chill, which is the true purpose of the game.
Isn't the true purpose to enjoy it however you please? Being a greedy profit pushing goblin is no better or worse than an aesthetic arse, both have their place in the community
I would like to thank you for making these videos. It’s a lot of the reason I decided to start a challenge with mimlic my best friend to see who can get the best rating from grandpa
My new way is starfruit jelly or dried starfruit, it takes less time than making a wine and it makes tons of gold. First time ever I earned 1 milion and I didn't even noticed that :'D
Wine Vs. Preserves is all about the ratio of sprinklers vs. artisan machines. Preserves always have a higher return per unit of time, but that is assuming infinite crops available.
Man im not sure if you could do this 6 months ago but you can put the legend fish in a fish pond and get like 3 to 10 row which one put in a preserved jar from the legend is like 70,000 a week a lot better than 50 maybe once a month
the mead empire still falls short of the value of fairy rose honey unprocessed... which is all the more relevant since bee houses can now use flowers in garden pots for honey (which gives more possible locations for getting lots of fairy rose honey without impacting regular growing spaces)
Oh interesting - I've just been using the single spot on the side for fairy rose honey on the side of ginger island but if I can use pots 👀 plenty more places to put bees
Oh yea lava eel bait at the volcano can net you 15-30 lava eels that you can put in the smoker that is as much money as all 5 of the legendary fish being smoked and sold like 4410 for a gold quality smoked lava eel and 6000 for iridium with the 50% more money when selling fish and artisan goods cost more
if youre using fairy rose to make your honey, why even convert it to mead when it'll make you less money? mead sells for 300 fairy rose honey sells for 680 with this logic, why even use the mead method at all? you'll need a lot less bee houses to make the same amount of money since you earn a lot more per harvest. Not to mention the sheer amount of bee houses you'll need and how much space it'll take up to make mead in large quantities. Might be a bit of a miss calculation there, maybe this method is more of an endgame method where you already have enough money to outright purchase the honey. The mead method definitely requires a lot of setting up and capital in order for it to be viable.
This is with tractor mod specifically, but when the mines open, you could just find a floor with a ring of soil you can still, and swap between the pickaxe and hoe as you drive around the ring, collecting tons of cave carrots and clay, which can bring in massive bank. Even better when you're able to make recipes that use cave carrots
Can someone explain how making mead takes 0 farming space? It may be true on meadlands farm but on the standard and 4 corners farm i play pretty much the only space to put anything that's not on farming space is where the main player 1 house is everywhere else that you can put sheds would be on farming space and that's assuming you cut into your profits by buying honey. If you grow your own honey that takes more farming space for the flowers and beehives. Also i can't tell if her point about better profit is accurate because it's all spoken back to back with no side by side comparison. I also feel that some of the best profit is stuff that makes the most after considering purchase costs regardless of daily profit. For instance ancient fruit costs you nothing and even at base drops for a lot and even more of you take the time to turn it into iridium quality wine so profit per day isn't the only way to look at profits
Generally beehives are planted on ginger island, but usually they're surrounding fairy roses to produce honey much more valuable than mead. Not sure if bee houses work outside of the farm (like the quarry) but from memory I don't think they do. Kegs can definitely be placed outside the farm though, so at least they don't have to use farm space.
@@porkeyminch8044 that still takes farm space for flowers at the very least hence me questing why in the video the op claims making meat takes 0 farming space you need farming space for flowers beehives are useless without flowers and outside of ginger Island most farms also take space for the beehives

The nets will catch fish or trash automate than moves that to the chest
Any trash will than be cycled thru the recycler by automate with products being drooped into the chest
torches, stone, ore, cloth, and refined quartz can be remove and taken to the farm for use or sold
wood will sit in the chest untill you build to 10 units than it will be cycled thru the kiln
charcoal along with a fish will cycle thru the smoker with smoked fish being deposited into your chest
this can be easly scaled by adding more machines
This is one speedrunners use, Skull Cavern + blacksmith profession = millionaire
you can pack those mushroom logs and mystic trees much closer, and dehydrated purple mushrooms are great money too!
Or, for more money, put purple mushrooms in preserve jars
Fishing setup for lots of Cash:
- Advanced iridium fishing rod with preserving enchantment
- Deluxe bait (from deluxe worm bins)
- Trap / Cork bobber (Trap bobber is recommended though)
- Curiosity lure for a higher chance to catch Legends (Quality bobber instead if you don't have any curiosity lures)
- Golden quality seafoam pudding for +5 fishing skill
- Angler and Artisan professions for the highest sell price for smoked Legend II (31.5K for every Legend II)
With this setup, about 40 - 50 Legend IIs can be caught in total for the 3 days of the quest
Edit: I changed the setup to this after the experiment, comparison, and analysis of the profit from the new setup and the previous one
I tried legend 2 bait and i barley got more legends than without. Deluxe Bait increases the bar and faster bit time, so legend 2 bait seems pointless.
@@AlienGurke OK thanks I think I will try Deluxe bait, curiosity lure, Trap bobber along the professions, and seafoam pudding combo
And thankfully they haven’t fixed the co-op table duping glitch so you can go crazy with your smoked Legend 2. If money is your issue that is.
Ahhhh!!! Lava eel ponds for life!!! ^_^ I can't wait for 1.6 to come to the switch so i can process all these lava eel. Fish ponds are so underrated!
Hurrah! It's a great morning when you post a video!
Hope you enjoyed it! 💜
@@ezlilyy I did! I am going to have to try out mead myself. On my farm. :)
Still kinda bummed I can't make fairy rose mead. still loses the flowers inate bonuses during the meadification process
We need this ASAP
Modded flower meads and giant flower crops made me realize how absolutely cracked it up would be. I promptly ditched my ancient fruit field and tried out every flower variant I could find - pretty, and it makes between 800k to almost 3 mil (depends on if I remember to check on all the giant flowers or not)
I HAVE TO ANNOUCE IT I GOT THE LIVING HAT DAY 1 AT LIKE 9:40 AM HOLLLLYYYY COOOOOOOWWWW (started a new game just now)
Luckyy
Hello can you please make a video on how to get all cave jelly easily please
That's a great idea 😀
throw a lava eel in a fish pond, they give you 3 cave jellies at once
Protip: there is only one cave jelly. Step 1: Go to cave. Step 2: Fish. Tadaaaa. It replaces trash, so just go to the location for whatever jelly you want(cave, ocean, river) and fish normally. It will come in time
for kegs I go with the old standby of hops for pale ale. load up the green house and make money daily
Hello, you uploaded in the middle of my gambling session(IN STARDEW VALLEY)lol
Ps im on mobile so all this is new to me, btw love that billionier look
Fruit cave is still a better option because of the preserve jars. It would take less time in early game play to make a batch then it would to make another dehydrator.
I got my first Dehydrator by reward ticket , it's about 3-4 times. that save my money from buy the blueprint for 10k.
My profit is currently at 5 million. I am aware that it is still a small profit compared to what others can attain, but I stopped thinking about profit and started decorating my farm and chill, which is the true purpose of the game.
This is the way 🌸🌸
Isn't the true purpose to enjoy it however you please?
I didn't even realize mead had been boosted, i just make it by default excluding fairy rose 😅
Strap on your rod?! This was very Stardew-esk writing.
the mead empire still falls short of the value of fairy rose honey unprocessed... which is all the more relevant since bee houses can now use flowers in garden pots for honey (which gives more possible locations for getting lots of fairy rose honey without impacting regular growing spaces)
We need Fairy Rose Mead!!! 👀
Oh interesting - I've just been using the single spot on the side for fairy rose honey on the side of ginger island but if I can use pots 👀 plenty more places to put bees
Imagine a stardew valley movie. Just baseball pitch a jar of pickles straight at Harvey’s face to befriend him
Oh yea lava eel bait at the volcano can net you 15-30 lava eels that you can put in the smoker that is as much money as all 5 of the legendary fish being smoked and sold like 4410 for a gold quality smoked lava eel and 6000 for iridium with the 50% more money when selling fish and artisan goods cost more
amazing daoko background music
Thanks 💜💜
All my homies love MEAD!!!!
J’adore les videos du troppeur c’est intéressant et captivant !
You can't get iridium quality mayo from chickens though. That's ostrich exclusive.
Good to know! 🌸
@@ezlilyy Thanks for the tips. Good to know about the level 4 parrot needing a certain amount of earned gold.
if youre using fairy rose to make your honey, why even convert it to mead when it'll make you less money?
mead sells for 300
fairy rose honey sells for 680
with this logic, why even use the mead method at all? you'll need a lot less bee houses to make the same amount of money since you earn a lot more per harvest.
Can you make a new beginners guide video for every season?
Live, Laugh, ezlilyy
💜💜💜
I wanted to ask about making money selling Ostriches 🤔
@@porkeyminch8044 that still takes farm space for flowers at the very least hence me questing why in the video the op claims making meat takes 0 farming space you need farming space for flowers beehives are useless without flowers and outside of ginger Island most farms also take space for the beehives
parrot is insane money low key broken
The most underrated one for sure!
Anyone know how to get these different farms? I haven’t figured out how to
You choose the farm layout when you begin the save file. There's a series of little houses along the right-hand side. Once you begin playing, it is impossible to change, though you may start a new file any time you wish.

This is not an easy tip... there is no way to get 10,000 coins early on in the game, and the question on most minds is getting rich quick upon starting a new playthrough.
@@vegassims7 sell parsnips to buy more parsnips to get 2000 gold to buy strawberries at the festival, then buy as many melons as you can, then next season only buy pumpkins. Already made +50k with little to no work using basic sprinklers and sleeping the days away.

it's too easy to make money in this game. i actually have to edit the profit margin and put 5% to make it feel like a challenge.
I know it's possible to get 25% profit margin with multiplayer but how do you get 5%?
