@@SvgLau Well, probably a price increase, but the competition is getting tougher, several others have arrived and even more are on the way, early next year Elegoo will launch their corexy with a multi color system and Artillery finally seems ready to release their corexy.
I don't suppose you know if they're going to have any multi-color options available in the near future? I'm torn between the K1 max and the Bambu Lab A1.

The original extruder did have some problems, but it seems that the new batch of k1 has been replaced with an upgraded extruder. The machine I got has no similar problems and feels good to use.
got it at microcenter for $350 and their 3 year warranty as dont want to deal with creality if have issues. replaced that hot bed plate, rooted it and use with orca slicer with no issues so far.
I already have 3 printers but when I saw the k1 on sale I had to buy one. Lol. I have the same issue as you do. I got mine off Amazon so I really hope it has the updated extruder and hot end as creality doesn't seem to have those upgrades kits left. I am in Canada and looked and they show completely sold out
I have 30+ printers, when I saw it on sale I thought I had to buy one too, lol. Contact Creality online support or email support. They will normally just send out part to fix your issue after letting you follow some basic troubleshooting steps. Plus, those old extruder/ hot end is known issues.
I ordered a k1 max because of the sale they have right now. Should i be worried about having irdered it? Panicking a little that i wasted my money/time. I do like tinkering i just want it to be a lot less tinkering then my old ender 3.
Don't get over overwhelming by the negative reviews, try it yourslef after receive the printer. There is a lot of little things that you need to learn or know when getting start. After that, it will very much just give you good printer one after another. But yeah, the initial learning curve is pain in the axx. Make sure you get the lastest hotend and extruder.
i find that the creality slicer crashes all the time, i used the cura one on a same model and it didnt crash, looks good the slicer, but i am new to 3d printing and not too clued up on the slicer part, my k1 speedy is coming today, all these negative vids are making me think did i make a mistake in buying this 3d printer
You should try Orca slicer, it is day and night different compare to Creality Print. Also, my intention was not make you overwhelming with those potential issues. It is more like prepare a mind set: "hey there could be potential issue, but you may not encounter it with your unit". I would still try it, if it does not works for you, you can alway return it.
I am also working on one setup tutorial video for K1 that covers most of the issues and solution, but there just too much information out there, sometimes it is hard to distinguish "common issues" to "operator errors".
Yeah, it is sucks, but not many brands care about it, or it just costs too much to fix noise issues. We will next how that goes next year, there are a bunch high speed printer coming in the corner.

I can fix my first layer on printers almost every single time, not confident to convince her for next printers.
The moral of the story, send it back for a refund...the wife obviously.

Yes, really interesting how much improve they will make on k1c. But, less likely they are going to sell k1c for sub $400 dollars tho.

I think if you don't need to print any high temp filament, a1 with ams lite could be a good choice.

I just got my K1 today, i am satisfied with the price/quality. I wanted the P1S but the cost was almost the double.
As long as you like it, that's the matter. If you can, just use OrcaSlicer, they have K1 profile on github.
