I really liked how this turned out. I think that background has a lot of potential to be useful in both card making or art journaling! Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
I made one using just the stamp pressing on the stencil but it didn’t come out as detailed as when I used just the dauber. Next time I might use the larger dauber to be able to cover more surface area quicker. Really cool effect-so many ways to make creative cards!!!!!! Thanks for your video!
This is the first video of yours that I have watched and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have resisted buying Oxide Inks but this week I relented and bought 6 Oxide inks and they are coming to me via a friend in San Francisco to Australia at the end of May. Can't wait now and I will definitely be giving your technique a go. Thanks Cynthia.
When you’re finished with this, if you go over the whole power the darker purple or a darker blue, it will trap the lighter colors underneath the embossing powder and the background will be darker. Such a fun effect!!
Your method look interesting and lovely, it wou be nice to see it with the black added you mentioned, and i certainly willhave to try it also the clear mebossing looks sharp nice shine☺
Turned out cute! As a mega short cut, I would skip using the tiny sponge dauber and just turn my versamark pad upside down and put it straight over the stencil. You could have used your small pad or the full sized one to make it even faster. Good end result though.
Really interesting technique & nice color choices! One thing, though - referring to previous projects which your viewer might not have seen doesn't add content, it's just frustrating. I didn't know if I should see the other video first, or keep watching. Stick to this video's project and your viewer will will, too. Best of luck!
Hi, Erin. It's the video I posted just two videos before this one, you should see it on my list of videos. I'll try and paste a link into this comment, but I'm not sure if it will work th-cam.com/video/hvWbT3HYL4s/w-d-xo.html
