Ive dealt with multiple wardens here in the south and these guys on this show are over the top. Love how they all say Not the crime of the century. But treat it as it is
I live in Montana and it’s not these guys will sit at a bottom of a hill and wait for you to do one small thing wrong when your on your dirtbike and give you a ticket
I’m a Montana native and a science educator; the Wardens are critical to maintaining the health of Montana’s natural animal resources. Without the limitations they enforce deer, elk, bison, antelope and our bird species would disappear to mystery meat casseroles or would rot in the fields. Fish would be over fished, raptors would be shot on sight and large carnivorous mammals like bobcat, bear, mountain lion would all be gone. Thanks warden service, you folks see weird stuff and everyone one forgets your branch of law enforcement, but without you the beauty and unique nature of our ecosystems would be impossible. ❤

These guys need support and some better technology, you’re trying to catch the bad guys, and then they equipment fails, they need more support, nothing should fail while they’re out on a mission, that’s upsetting and the bad guys get away
Had a good idea, use those confiscated bucks with a taxidermist and turn them into buck catching mechanical traps and donate them to your local wardens!
Or a better idea is be sure of your target in the fact that it's legal and be familiar with laws and regulations in the state in which you hunt. Doing this would prevent having to carry a tape measure and trying to run down or catch a deer to measure antlers. 😊

Well, if you are going out to hunt, coming back from a hunt, or in the middle of a hunt, then you are a hunter. If you aren't hunting, then you don't have to stop.

The restriction on antler length for spike bucks is so asinine. Any spike is nearly guaranteed to be a 1 year old deer. Therefore, the antler length is of zero consequence. How can any hunter reasonably judge that in the field?
Must of never hunted a good quota hunts They have width restrictions where I live. And most hunters here don’t have an issue with following these restrictions. Pretty easy to tell if a spike is over 4 inches and if it’s close, then don’t take the shot.
I've met a few game wardens in the woods over the years and none, not one is as badge heavy as the ones on this program. It just dramatized for TV viewing or what?

Im taking it that these wardens don't have the power to arrest which is surprising. I was a State Park Ranger here in Colorado and we could throw the bracelets on people and arrest them for some of these violations. Poaching, DUI, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, eluding a stop. State Park Rangers can make physical arrests for misdemeanor and felony offenses and for warrants.😎
So, the Game Wardens want to put an ear tag in the bears ear. A lot of people don't know, but if you gently and softly blow into the bear's ear they will lay down and go to sleep. It's really quite astonishing.
Also, how about someone telling these “authorities” they are performing an illegal search and seizure. And to go get a search warrant. Good grief…I have a shot that is safe and effective for sale 😅
Especially irritating since I spend a lot of my weekends in camo doing wildlife photography. No bag limit or closed seasons for the camera, and endangered species are a bonus. Plus it gives me something to do with all the camo outside of the hunting seasons I'm interested in. But then, I'd also be the guy stalking their decoy with a camera. And if I figured out it was a decoy, I'd be extra sneaky right up until I can pop off a couple of big flash heads and blind anybody watching for the next 15 minutes.
The warden that gave that guy a ticket and took that kid's deer over 3 in of horn length that's absolutely ridiculous if it was his buddy he would have looked the other way one scummy move for Montana

What are the regulations for someone who is living off their land? Do they still have to report killing animals on their land and have a hunting license?
Yes, animals are not private property, they belong to the public…only time private land matters is if you are hunting farmed animals like pheasants, private fishing ponds, farmed deer with high fences…

As many dear that there are today and meat prices at $15.00 a pound, how can a game warden justify writing a ticket for people feeding their families. Especially over 2 inches of antler. I can not stomach watching a bunch of game warden act like everyone is a criminal and find some reason to write them a ticket.

. How can it be entrapment. Entrapment is when police talk someone into committing a crime he/she would otherwise not commit. If you'd shoot at a decoy you think is a deer, you'd shoot at a deer if it was real. My best friend is a warden and I an armed security officer and had to take a lot of law enforcement tests
@@tundrawomansays694 There is not a state in the country where you can be charged for a refusal for not doing the sobriety tests. You are correct that a refusal charge is possible if you refuse a breathalyzer but definitely NOT for roadside sobriety tests.
Way to many people are let go, when the book needs to be thrown at them , Game warden are way to easy on perpetrators, if they would fine them more they would have a record for future offense 's !!!!

Living off of the land does not mean you are exempt from following hunting and fishing regulations. Unless you fall under tribal regulations.

They aren't forcing anyone to shoot the decoy. It's no different than a bait car. Just cause it's there doesnt mean you have to shoot it.
Ruby ridge was entrapment. These guys were never coerced into shooting at a decoy. They made that choice themselves.
