Great interpretation! As a side note, it was actually confirmed by the actors that they were portraying Namjoon's other personas (so they're not his coworkers), each one of them represents different things or emotions, one is overconfident (the long haired woman), one is anxious (the straight haired guy), and the others are not comfimed yet but I would guess the guy with frizzy hair is something like chaos/childlike behavior and the short haired woman is curiosity (somebody on twitter mentioned she opens a lot of doors in the mv).
It's taking me a while to warm up to these songs, since they are so unique and different from what I'm used to. However, as the new ones drop, they're even more out there, making the earlier ones positively warm and comforting in comparison. Lost has made Come Back to Me sound practically like a pop song, and Groin is making Lost positively melodic now too.
In a time of shorter songs snd manufactured pop this us a breath of fresh air. Very Wes Anderson!!! In a time of fake AI everything this feels human creative experimental and perfectly imperfect. Obsessed.
original is such a good way to describe it i was so focused when i watched it for the first time because i didnt know what was going to happen for the entire mv. and it was so refreshing to feel like i didnt know what was going to happen and i could just simply be along for the ride. in a strange way it felt very freeing if the goal was to make the viewer feel lost but also free, they fucking nailed it

As it says in the beggining we are in Namjoon's brain! I think what we see as coworkers are his feelings or personas ! His feelings/personas are lost in the maze of his brain ! Because of his feelings/ personas RM can create his art and these are a ladder to help him to show his art and himself to the world! We see him throw papers from the one side and he is picking them up from the other side ! I believe these are his ideas which he sometimes thinks are not good but later he may change his mind and use them! This is also something Yoongi mentioned once . He said that he doesn't through anything bcz they may not be useful now but they may be in the future! Perhaps it's the way his genius mind works! We know how all these years he's in the process to find who really is but still he's lost! But he admits that he is enjoying it and at the end of the day maybe it's part of the process to be lost! It could be necessary part of the process to be Lost in order to come across new things and reinvent ourselves!
So the line where he says " drop it on the ground, throw it in the trunk"-- do we know what "it" is? There doesn’t seem to be an antecedent, unless it's the silver cloud. But later, in the song "Groin", he's singing "get your ass outta trunk, get your ass outta trunk". Any ideas on what the trunk is, like maybe cold storage in the back of his brain? Edited to add: i think Lost is the start of the maze, since it starts the album, and Come Back to me is the successful escape from it, at the end of the album.
