Knew you'd enjoy. The words, body language. W/ all the deaths happening so glad that night he was there and asked the question, are you OK to be alone? That's peeps.
It was awesome. El Capitxn got so many excited screams in my cinema when I went to see the movie. Basically almost as loud as when JK, Jimin and RM came on. We were all so hyped to see him and yell "shibal" at the screen lol. I bet Yoongi would have been happy to hear his bestie getting all of that love from his ARMYs.
Yoongi and El Capitxn are a team not only does he produced but also co-wrote with Suga some of their biggest hits. I'm glad that Yoongi has someone to bounce ideas with, a working partner that is also a friend.
Hearing that Suga stepped in to cover all of El Capitxn's hospital bills really hits you differently when you realize the tough times he was facing himself. You've probably heard, but Suga grew up in severe poverty, working from a young age to earn money. During his high school years, he worked part-time jobs early in the morning before school and then again late into the night after school. During his trainee days, he was still hustling, secretly working delivery jobs at night while keeping up with the demanding trainee life during the day, and ended up getting into an accident but couldn’t even talk about his injury to anyone. Even after debuting and BTS becoming famous, he was still facing these struggles. In a Suchwita episode, Suga opened up about 2016 being an incredibly rough year for him. Despite BTS's growing fame, he was still struggling financially, with the income being negative. For the first time, he broke down in tears in front of his parents, overwhelmed by everything - he was 22 and he said it was the first time he cried and showed such vulnerability to his parents. And you know, the whole thing with Suga offering to cover all of El Capitxn's hospital bills happened in that very same tough year, 2016. The fact that he reached out to help El Capitxn during such a difficult time really says a lot about who he is. Even while he was dealing with so much himself, he genuinely wanted to help, telling El Capitxn, "I love hearing you sing, and I hope your voice comes back soon. If singing is your dream, going to that agency is the right move, but first, you should get your voice fixed. I'll cover the hospital fees, so don't worry about that and get treated first. You can pay me back slowly when you can." Even after that, Suga continued to support him so that El Capitxn could rise again. It's no wonder El Capitxn feels so much gratitude and love for Suga. Were I in his position, I too would never forget a friend who first reached out a helping hand during such a tough time, and I’m sure Suga got a lot of emotional support from El Capitxn too. I can really see that they share a really special, strong bond. And it wasn't just El Capitxn who received his help. A trainee friend once shared on TH-cam a story how Suga visited him when he was ill, took him to the hospital, covered his medical expenses, and stayed by his side until he recovered. They were both still trainees then. In tough situations, it's natural to focus on one's own survival, but Suga has consistently shown profound empathy and put others before himself. Because he's gone through so much things, he knows how it feels and what they would need in those situations more than anyone. Despite many people mistaking him for a cold, indifferent person, l always felt that he has his own way of always looking out for people quietly from behind, without any need for the spotlight. His actions radiate a genuine warmth and kindness that might not be immediately obvious but are deeply felt by those around him. And Armys all know it too. No wonder Suga is surrounded by good people. Honestly, if Yoongi were my friend, I'd never let go and just cling to him forever lol
Yes, I think the reason he gets labeled as cold or indifferent is because he tends to express his emotions verbally and through actions rather than through his facial expressions or body language. He is clearly a very sensitive person who feels things deeply, but he takes the time to process how he feels and put it into words instead of spontaneously displaying it on his face or through his tone of voice. The fact that one of his most natural ways of expressing his feelings is through words is probably why rapping comes naturally to him and why his lyrics are often so powerful. His story with El Capitxn is just one of several stories I've heard about him being incredibly caring and generous even back when he was still struggling himself. I even remember seeing a video with a former bighit trainee who also talked about Yoongi taking him to the hospital and paying the bill when he was sick, so this isn't just a one time thing.
for me this was the most touching episode. It shows cleaarly what kind of a person Yoongi is. he goes above and beyond to help his friends. he has a beautiful soul.
When he felt it was time to speak to El Capitxn about his fear of singing, he did it In typical Yoongi fashion. He didn't hold a dramatic sit-down conversation. He did it casually while driving. He did the same with Jimin. He tosses out truths that mean so, so much to the receiver as matters of fact, which to Yoongi they are.
Not all mentors want their protegee to be independent yet Yoongi encourage Jiyong to work with other artist and refer him to some of his friends. It's admirable.
El CAPITXN’s story reminds me so much of Black Swan. When an artiste dies for the first time when he can no longer perform. Fortunately he found a different path in the music world. It was touching that they played Blue and Grey in the background which is a song which expresses V’s struggles.
Something to think about that Tae chose yoongi's lyrics to be the pivot for the OT7 Blue & Grey version... yoongi gave a sentence to Tae that could be a reference point "Don't say you're okay, coz your not" and we later hear it in Jimin's voice in the song (ref: BE interview).. and Tae had to make Yoongi's submitted lyrics for Blue & Grey to be a bit muted because it was too deep and personal and just chose a single feeling that resonated to Tae the most and that was the sentence I quoted. 😊 Yoongi have always been Tae's support since the beginning to w/c I could give you a reference if you want, the subtle care but devoted support yoongi always had was so beautiful, so heartwarming that I wish everyone could see how beautiful of a soul yoongi is.
@@aarceeandtannies2217 although I’m a pretty new ARMY, I’ve picked up on how Yoongi cares for Tae even though he says that they have very differing views. If you have a good reference for me I’d be happy to check it out. Thank you.
@@pyejammiesfanfic640 This is a food for the soul, wholesome precious pieces that shows Yoongi's "quiet devotion" and love language, this one circles around Yoongi's dynamic with Tae.. This friendship is truly beautiful. It's a different kind of unconditional love I think. One is blessed to have a friend like El Capitxn or Yoongi in his/her lifetime. Max, I like your thought that Yoongi will take praise, even though he gets bashful about it, because he sees that it is important to the other person to give the praise. I've always thought similarly about tangible gifts, but you're right! It surely works for praise and platitudes, too. As someone who typically deflects praise, I will remember this lesson. Thank you for another great video. 💜
Thanks for the lovely comment :) Yes, totally - I’ve recently started to recognize that it’s also a gift to allow someone to give you praise (especially if you did something or mean something of significance to that person). Glad to hear you appreciate that 💜
"Because of you, I was able to become bright again", Suran (the first artist he worked as a external producer, also who featured in his song 'So far away')) also have stated the same thing about suga saving her too before. Seems like Yoongi have saved not only himself, but a lot of people behind the camera
You can see how Suga's trust in El Capitxn's skills built over time by seeing the producer credits in his solo albums. In "D-2" (2020), many songs have them both credited as songwriters and El Capitxn as co-producer, but in "D-Day" (2023), many songs have El Capitxn credited as the sole producer. This gives me the impression that Suga still supervised El Capitxn in the previous album and worked on everything together, but was able to trust him to handle things on his own in the later album. In other Suchwita episodes, you'll see Suga recommending El Capitxn as a producer to his singer friends.
El Capitxn screamed out his support of Yoongi during the concert when Yoongi was crying; truly touching! P.S. Always love your reactions, Max; perceptive, as usual! 😊
Suga is my hero too! I’ve never known him to BS anyone or anything, he has integrity to the nth degree, he is generous, unpretentious, thoughtful, intelligent, modest but confident and just incredibly decent. This in and of itself would be admirable, but to be all that when you are incredibly famous, talented and wealthy is a remarkable thing. So many people who become wealthy and influential change and not necessarily for the better.
Not the first time Suga's stepped up for a friend in need... there's a story about when one of his fellow trainees got sick, Suga carried him on his back to the hospital and paid his bills, even though he could barely afford it himself. But I think what was going on wasn't just that Suga cared for him-- I think El Capitxn knew his family DID care for him, they just couldn't get past the stigma of talking about his problems. That has NEVER been a problem with Suga. If a friend has a problem, he plows straight ahead and TALKS about it. He doesn't treat it as something shameful or delicate. He's never afraid to lance the boil, I think because he knows from personal experience what can happen when you DON'T talk about it. I think both of them were going through their own struggles, but instead of keeping his head down and focusing on himself, Suga reached out to help pull El Capitxn out of the mud, and by looking out for each other, they BOTH got free of it. That's friendship. And btw, some statistics: according to WHO, as of 2019, South Korea had the 4th highest suicide rate in the world (almost 2 1/2 times the global average, at 13.4 per 100,000), and self-harm was the first leading cause of death in people aged 15-34 years (of either sex).
it's cool that you brought up the analogy that Yoongi is an angel to El Capitxn because that is how I first heard of him. He made a post on IG of some recording equipment that Yoongi had gifted him, with the caption "is Min Yoongi an angel?" I shared it with all of my Army friends because I was proud of my bias and how kind/supportive he was to another producer. That's when my friend told me that El Capitxn, then still known as J-Pearl I think, had a whole past career as an idol himself. These two are the same age, started in similar careers, but they had such different trajectories. But they still ended up in the same place making the same music. They're such a great friendship and music-making partnership. I think this was my favorite episode of Suchwita.
It's so endearing to see two grown men openly expressing their love and respect for each other without worry of being ridiculed for their expressions of adoration . Perhaps it's the Korean culture where men are more openly affectionate both physically and emotionally, without worrying about social constraints and being labelled. We should all take a page out of the Suga and El Capitxn book of "It's okay to love one another." A pleasure to watch and for your honest reaction, Max. xo
I’ve known el capitxn since History, a group he was in. I was so sad when they disbanded, but I’m so happy to see he’s still active and doing amazing work with amazing artists. My bias forever and ever ❤
Only people who have gone thru alot would be so compassionate and so generous to others. They know how hard it was and would love to help make things better. This is why I know BTS will always be ok, no matter what because they have Yoongi, and of course everyone bringin their life experiences and compassion to the group. Just super proud to be ARMY.
I was excited and impressed to finally meet el Capitxn. I keep seeing his name in the credits on my favorite songs. When I see his name before I hear the song, I know it’s going to be the best. I’ve been looking up to him, this mystery man. Then I find out his connection with my BTS bias
This episode is my favorite, very emotional and heartwarming. Feel so relatable to El Capitxn, have very similar situation with my voice and still I can see that people around me don’t understand how hard is for me. Very happy to see their friendship and support for each other, it’s so precious and rare to see.
I love your observation on how despite not being so open to compliments or rather not being comfortable when receiving compliments, Suga accepts that El Capitxn's need to praise him is bigger than his discomfort when receiving praises, so he lets El Capitxn have his say..
I have a sense that that plaque is going to take pride of place on the wall in Genius Lab. As much as he's said that part of him is hungry for awards, I think the acknowledgement of his own crew means more to him than any of the world's flowers.
This episode was so amazing, it even made me cry for many reasons, i really glad both didn't give up on each other ,or there selves during the darkest period of their times.
BTS just makes me feel so proud to be their fan... and hearing them makes me want to be a better person to the people around me. Yoongi offering to help medical Bills and people like jin who also offered money help to a famous Korean Artist when he was struggling financially and the fact that we did not know until the person himself told the story, i really Wish i could be that tope of person for my love ones too
Watching the show you learn so much about Yoongi, he's so deep and talented his friend group is amazing. He's the baby of the group, meaning he's learned many things from his elders, Yoongi stays busy so it's amazing he has time for anything else?
This is so beautiful! The way you talked about them feels like you know them personally! You hit every point! I love Elcapitxn and Yoongi!!! My favorite duo!!!
First siince Yoongi is my bias and seeing you have similar thoughts makes your reactions very fun to me :)) The other thing that i loved this episode. Also Yoongi is as far as i see is not someone who can make friends easily especially at this level. So it is very touching to see what Yoongi did for him but i believe he also conforted Yoongi in his darker times and supported him. So their friendship is so precious :)
Suga has done this hospital bills thing at least two times during his life - there was a trainee with him when none of them had money - who fell seriously ill and had a high fever and Yoongi took him to the doctor saying he pays everything when his peer was burning up
Hope you get to see the Suga movie while it's out! As mentioned by others El Capitxn is featured in it. Btw, where does his name come from? I think of Yosemite.
l recommend checking out Suga's 'D Day Good Day' video! It's from BTS's TH-cam channel. About like 2 years ago, he began filming short videos at the end of his schedule, and compiled them all into this sweet gift for us. It's such a lovely video, watching Yoongi sharing about his daily happenings.
I don't know if I could write it right in English, but I'll try, I hope at least it will be understandable haha I really LOVE your videos about bts. I enjoy emotional side of people, do my own unprofessional phycological analyses and stuff, but I didn't see that tipe of content with my favourite people before. So I was quite obsessed, when I discovered your channel haha I watched almost all reactions, it was just sooo good. First of all, it really helped me to get used with listening in English, because I can't listen something if I am not interested, even if I don't improve my skills in that way, but with those videos I can't not listen. Now I can understand 99% about what you are saying. Second of all, I was amazed by things that you were saying, because sometimes it was admitting something that I thought by myself, sometimes it was something completely new, that I could learn about boys and relationships or that I couldn't name before. I am so grateful, thank you! Purple you! 🤲💜
Max, thank you so much for the reaction! I really like your videos a lot, and especially, I love to hear people who understand Yoongi so much and enjoy his growth/evolution throughout Suchwita. We love EL CAPITXN so much because we know that he really is very close to Yoongi, appreciates their relationship and supports him too! Happy to have that Suchwita episode, which we were looking forward to a lot, and more since the Apple Music episodes! THANK YOU!
Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. it was really cool to learn more about El Capitxn. This was his 1st interview since he retired as a idol. So the nervousness is expected. I really loved hearing their story. I am a Mar 10 baby so very similar to Suga. And i love making ppl happy and easing their way if only just a little. It's really wonderful to learn that both RM and Suga help ppl have hope and grow. Borahae. -NY USA 2019 Army💟

Max, can you go back and react to the Suchwita with Suga and Taemin? Specifically the parts when Jimin is there? It’s so odd, I want your take on it, lol. 😂
I reacted to it on Patreon. Yeah, was a bit odd if I remember correctly. I don’t think Suga and Taemin had that natural chemistry… Taemin didn’t seem to bite on any of Suga’s jokes or cues to lighten things up (from what I remember). Jimin seemed to help loosen things up.
See this is what it looks like when yoongi truly loves and cares for someone. It doesn’t look like the yoonmin dynamic like people always bullshit. That’s just bickering

Always happy to see Yoongi content 😊 he truly is an incredibly kind and compassionate person. They're lucky to have each other as friends
I have a sense that that plaque is going to take pride of place on the wall in Genius Lab. As much as he's said that part of him is hungry for awards, I think the acknowledgement of his own crew means more to him than any of the world's flowers.
SUGA is an angel on Earth. God always bless you. I wish you much success, happiness and prosperity throughout your life.
This episode was so amazing, it even made me cry for many reasons, i really glad both didn't give up on each other ,or there selves during the darkest period of their times.
BTS just makes me feel so proud to be their fan... and hearing them makes me want to be a better person to the people around me. Yoongi offering to help medical Bills and people like jin who also offered money help to a famous Korean Artist when he was struggling financially and the fact that we did not know until the person himself told the story, i really Wish i could be that tope of person for my love ones too
I cried with this episode, such a beautiful friendship
I loved this episode so much!! Loved getting to know one of Yoongi’s friends
I was crying while watching them how much sweet sugar is..and his friend
Watching the show you learn so much about Yoongi, he's so deep and talented his friend group is amazing. He's the baby of the group, meaning he's learned many things from his elders, Yoongi stays busy so it's amazing he has time for anything else?
Юнги второй по возрасту после Джина и он пришел в группу уже продюсером и репером.Первый успех группа получила с альбомом написанным Юнги.
When Suchwita came to a close I was heartbroken.
Bff for sure! Nothing can take the trust & bond between these 2 ppl away from them ❤❤❤❤
This is so beautiful! The way you talked about them feels like you know them personally! You hit every point! I love Elcapitxn and Yoongi!!! My favorite duo!!!
@@sabemwah thanks! Yes this was a beautiful episode to watch
First siince Yoongi is my bias and seeing you have similar thoughts makes your reactions very fun to me :))
The other thing that i loved this episode. Also Yoongi is as far as i see is not someone who can make friends easily especially at this level. So it is very touching to see what Yoongi did for him but i believe he also conforted Yoongi in his darker times and supported him. So their friendship is so precious :)
Suga has done this hospital bills thing at least two times during his life - there was a trainee with him when none of them had money - who fell seriously ill and had a high fever and Yoongi took him to the doctor saying he pays everything when his peer was burning up
One of my favorite episodes. They're both such amazing young men with a special friendship. I wish more people would react to it. 🫶
Hope you get to see the Suga movie while it's out! As mentioned by others El Capitxn is featured in it. Btw, where does his name come from? I think of Yosemite.
l miss him so much. Thanks for this video!
l recommend checking out Suga's 'D Day Good Day' video! It's from BTS's TH-cam channel.
About like 2 years ago, he began filming short videos at the end of his schedule, and compiled them all into this sweet gift for us. It's such a lovely video, watching Yoongi sharing about his daily happenings.
Nice video Max, Min Yoongi…the coolest!
I don't know if I could write it right in English, but I'll try, I hope at least it will be understandable haha
I really LOVE your videos about bts. I enjoy emotional side of people, do my own unprofessional phycological analyses and stuff, but I didn't see that tipe of content with my favourite people before. So I was quite obsessed, when I discovered your channel haha
I watched almost all reactions, it was just sooo good.
Purple you! 🤲💜
Appa Yoongi 🤭🥰
Max, thank you so much for the reaction! I really like your videos a lot, and especially, I love to hear people who understand Yoongi so much and enjoy his growth/evolution throughout Suchwita.
We love EL CAPITXN so much because we know that he really is very close to Yoongi, appreciates their relationship and supports him too! Happy to have that Suchwita episode, which we were looking forward to a lot, and more since the Apple Music episodes!
THANK YOU!
Love suga so much ❤
Oh great! I'm playlisting it for when I'm back home from work 💜
Hi, i am back.
This was a really beautiful episode😭😭😭😭
my bias.. merry me yoongi 💜
Loved this 💜
Mi episodio favorito. Al fin conocí al capitxn y estoy feliz por su amistad
พี่ยุนกิแสนดีมากจริงๆค่ะ รักเค้า🥺💜
Amé ese episodio
maxx you should react to lando and oscar, they’re f1 drivers from mclaren and i think they have a really fun dinamic. lando is the experience driver and oscar the new one and also lando is the outgoing, extroverted and loud guy while oscar the introverted, quiet and awkward one
Suga wrote and produced That that but he helped in the process
💯 👍 agree❤
14:46 It’s little notes like this that let me know that you really do have an understanding of ✨people✨and communication
Ps: I really love your videos
Ah thank you!
Gracias por ver ese episodio de Suchwita
Gracias por compartir, se extraña mucho a suga, que estes bien, gracias
Him not being able to sing was probably a mental issue
Max, can you go back and react to the Suchwita with Suga and Taemin? Specifically the parts when Jimin is there? It’s so odd, I want your take on it, lol. 😂
I reacted to it on Patreon. Yeah, was a bit odd if I remember correctly. I don’t think Suga and Taemin had that natural chemistry… Taemin didn’t seem to bite on any of Suga’s jokes or cues to lighten things up (from what I remember). Jimin seemed to help loosen things up.
Sturniolo triplets when?
you should check out yoongi and jimin on ddeun ddeun yoongi is also close with them
Please react to ATEEZ's interview with Sunmi.
ooh so good, I hope you could react to the Tae interview, as you have always pointed out interesting things about both of them. THANKS
Thanks. Yes he does :)
BTW pls watch Park Jimin introduction 2024 by the jimin videos. You don't seem to know much about him :) thanks
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Me gustaría que analizaras el episodio del programa Yoongi con Taehyung, me sororende que aun no lo hayas hecho
PLEASE DO YOONGI AND TAEHYUNG SUCHWITA ONE!!
He saw every epsoides with members
@@rooo-o2u i cant find this one though ill check again
@@rooo-o2u he hasnt done taehyung and yoongi one i am pretty sure
But the Topic wasn't so easy for SUGA... his crossed arms tell that he us uncomfortable with it...
Please reaction to struniolo triplets
See this is what it looks like when yoongi truly loves and cares for someone. It doesn’t look like the yoonmin dynamic like people always bullshit. That’s just bickering
One of my favorite episode)
