You have to give RM a genre by himself.....he just broke all the rules ....esp rules people who think they know him impose on him. He just created a whole album to say "you think u know me? Thats exactly what i am not"....he is so brave and you have to be brave too to stay in his evolving court.....i love it....the music arrangement is beautiful..his vocals fit....his lyrics crytic....
I agree. He is so intelligent that it comes out in his music. There are few artists that can create such intriguing and thought-provoking musical masterpieces. I absolutely love the song. It's very catchy and his voice! It's RM singing RM. He's genuine and I adore that about him. I'm still struggling with the entire meaning of the MV, but the beauty of that is I get to watch it again and again and again. Namjoon outdid himself. I'm so proud to be a fan. 💜
I think that being a ghost is referring to his feeling that nobody wanted to see real him and this is why he felt being invisible many times. And that "love he gets when he wakes up" is talking about that illusion of love that comes because popularity, not because of who he 8s when all the masks fall off. I also think we see multiple him because this is him wearing a weight of different roles that he must wear as celebrity, and then there is also this real him, the one who is silent and confused and feels trapped. That's my theory lol. It would be nive if MV director explained Lost MV (symbolism) and Namjoonie what he wanted express with song, because there are so many layers that need to be unfold for us to understand Namjoon's feelings and self- questioning fully. Lost is my favorite song because even though I might not understand the MV, I can instinctively relate to this song. It somehow doesn't just speak to me, it speaks out of me. Which is amazing Namjoonies achievement, to make song that feels like it organically grew up from listener.
This is Grammy material. I'm in love with this album and song. Whou would expect this? I think that RM got us all by surprise. I labeled it as musical avantgarde lol. I'm probably exaggerating in that label too.
@@maryhduke2307 it's not alternative rock but it is alternative something. Total fusion of genres from jazz, rock, hip hop... Quite avantgarde, not whole album but certain songs have feel of avantgarde into it. We talk about avantgarde usually in art from paintings, film, poetry...but rarely in music. What RM did resonates in my head with kind of film art that Wes Anderson (Grand Budapest hotel, French Dispatch, 4 Henry Sugars) or Roy Andersson (A Pigeon sat on branch reflecting on existence) would make, or what Ari Aster did with Beau is afraid. In film this is called arthouse. Arthouse is form of avantgardeism (not avantgarde itself). In sense of innovativeness, RM is doing with this album what was Björk doing in past, but not in same genre and of course in very different and innovative ways. Look at Björk's old videos ( Army of me for example) , both music and MVs are total arthouse, even very avantgarde. When I initially heard Come back to me I was hit with something I wasn't used of, didn't expect and I was caught out of my comfort zone. My immediate reaction was "not for me". But on second hearing this changed for 360 degrees. I'm obsessed with this album. More I listen to songs, better they get, more they resonate with my own inner conflicts. And if I watch MVs, it is unbelievable what response this evokes. RM is top artist as far as I am concerned. He does push limits and he is authentic artistic force. This is not just some pop music and is definitely not kpop, he broke with kpop for this album. This is much more. I can't even express how impressed I am lol . BTW, Namjoonie breaking up with kpop is the only thing that didn't surprise me. He is too multifaceted author to be limited not only by kpop, but by any artistic genre. He creates his own art. And I agree with those claiming that he is true hidden force behind BTS.This album is a proof. You hardly make more original album than this. RM, Tamino, Jambinai and few other guys, some them RM's best friends, are among those rare truly authentic authors pushing musical boundaries with innovativeness and authenticity. Musical genres aren't iron shirt for them. They simply passed beyond that stage. This is mature and true RM coming out of his shell that I was waiting for. My boy finally grew up and bravely reached for who he is. I'm freaking proud of him.
@@bdfhvxz I give shit about Grammy anyway. This award doesn't define my musical identity and who should I listen to. I know in my heart who gets my Grammy. This award anyways circulates among more or less the same circles that basically privatised it. They don't let those in their cyrcle from whom they can't benefit financially. Sad but true.
Love the beat, melody and the sound. I feel that RM is making a statement of how multifaceted and creative he can be. Recently both RM and Suga are working on singing and not much rapping in their recent released solos. It feels like he is giving a glimpse of the thoughts and recollection of the past journey he had taken. The applause, the show must be presented and go on. In the early part there is a depiction of confusion and that he was lost, caught in a maze. His life was too hectic, like being on a hamster wheel without a chance to stop and look. When he stops and look into the future, in the elevator, it is all about climbing to the top. The constant strive of getting high up, till you hit the ceiling. Joonie asks what then? You can become imbalanced and skewed aside and not seeing straight. What is the road straight ahead when you hit the top? What is the road ahead from the top? He feels so lost no where to go? I am myself but what is the place I want to get to? Right person wrong place or visce versa?
Gives me vibes of one my top fav most creative rock groups of all times.....TALKING Heads Yes yes! Brilliant Namjoon. The GENRE IS RM...RM POP. The whole albums is not what you wiil expect. It's a MASTERPIECE reminiscent of Paul Simon's GRACELAND. You don't know RM if you think this is left field for a GENIUS MUSCIAN. RM is not just a rapper he is a musician, producer, lyricist. Bravo Bravo RM 👏👏👏👏💜💜💜💜 .
I thought that was so cool. I loved RM popping up in the maze. Nobody can get in his head. He is unique for sure. Looking forward to the rest of the album.
I think the club is not a box. My heart was moved when he said, "I've never been to a club." Other than Idols, 100% of young people in Korea have been to a club. That's where they all go when they're not studying or working. 😢
Umm.. actually in Korea, going to clubs isn't that common thing, even among young people. I think RM might have meant something else with that sentence, but I get your point.
@@aisu-wi8nmI’m Korean, Korean american but a lot of go to the club especially those in the 20s but he says “I never been to the club before, I hit the club” the “I hit the club” means he go to the club but then he said he doesn’t I know namjoon loves to contradict himself in his songs especially in some of his songs in MONO so it could mean something else
Visually: Strong Talking Heads Stop Making Sense references, Being John Malkovich, Christopher Walken dancing in Fat Boy Slim MV, oh my so rich, existential, french farce, Dadaist, John Cleese in Monty Python, wow…then all the self reference to BTS’s work of course, the Butter elevator, Yoongi’s Amygdala scenario, Jhope’s office scenes in More, the boxes, the balloon from Permission to Dance, the 5 versions of Joonie walking around together reminds me of when they say “what do you prefer, 5 year old Joonie or 5 Joonies” omg gonna be be here all day
In a world of bland homogeneous pop. RM makes you stop and think. Its strangely addictive and after a 4th or 5th listen... its a favourite. In a world of fast fashion and fast pop designed more for the fast buck than art. RM is that rare breed. A successful artist with alot to lose who just wants to make music. He trusts that his fans are not stupid and will enjoy complex ideas, interesting sound scapes and music designed to provoke your own imagination not be disposable brain dead junk.
Someone pointed out the exit signs. In RMs latest studio, there's an exit sign that's bright. He adjusts the camera during lives and fusses about the brightness. There's tons of exit signs throughout the video.
RM the genius artist 😊💜 this song gives me The Cure and B52 vibes. My theory is this song is about the contrast between his life if he was not a musician, being a civil servant in an office as he once said, and his nowadays life in spotlight and shows, etc, having his non famous friends looking up at him from below. And they all feel lost, represented by their faces list in confusion and the permanent exit signs changing directions. Only my theory. This is a difficult album for a mortal 😂. I love Come back to me, Lost and Heaven. The other songs are very experimental and out of the box completly and in some of them he is mad about someone or something.
"I was so not expecting that." I agree. I have listened to the whole album, and I have the same comment as Roscoe. I was so not expecting that. So. My feelings. Art is subjective. If his songs were each portrayed in an art museum, I would stop and look at "Come Back to Me." I would love the color Palette 🎨. I would love the harmony of its design. And be intrigued with its message. I would walk by all of the other paintings. Then think again. And go back and get the headphones to listen to the artist's interpretation and explanation of each piece, but only because I admire the artist. But honestly, I don't like the rest of his "paintings", but would listen to his tutorial. I do realize that artist's go through phases with their art work. To me this is literally RM's lost period. And I felt lost. I will, however, listen to others thoughts about each "painting". Again, out of curiosity. But then move on to the next room of paintings. Oh, Yes. This is his previous art period, "Indigo". My favorite.
By the way. It's ok to be lost. We've all been there. We might be there right now. I admire RM speaking his truth about being lost. He so eloquently and artfully displays it in this song. Maybe that's why I don't like it. Or it makes me feel uncomfortable just like those cringy guest hosts made me feel. I feel his disjointedness. Is that a word? I understood him so much more in "Wildfire" when he was angry. And when he was lamenting for a night's rest. This song make me feel sadness. But again. It's ok. It's ok for him to go through this pain. Because going through his pain...he will find his divine. DIVINE!!!
Yes! You have described exactly how I feel, thank you! I have listened to the whole album and literally I felt 'lost' while listening to it. But I do listen to it over and over again because of the Artist, because of the respect I have for him and what he has done with his life. However, even if at first I think this album is not for me, I have to admit a couple of songs have grown on me, namely Lost! and Around the world (love the guitar here), and of course CBTM which I have loved since he performed it on D-Day. This feels like only those who really see RM, the person that he was/is/wants to be, will appreciate it. It's totally different with Indigo where that is pure RM as we know him, thus it becomes a quick favourite for most fans, including me. The moment I saw the start: "Inside Namjoon's Brain" - I knew this is gonna be a roller coaster haha..
I forgot where it was posted but someone said "It sounds like a grandpa snooze fest not a number-one hit" or something along those lines, referring to Come Back To Me. If you look at the genre and songs choices for this album you can see that Joonie might have been thinking about hitting number one with a song but I don't think that was his main purpose for this album. His purpose was to tell a story about his past himself and maybe his present self and say "Hey I've been lost for the past 10 years and I'm not sure what I'm doing but because of you, I'm slowly finding my purpose and where I should be and that is on stage, singing, dancing, and making music that I want to make" so while I agree that some of the songs are on the album is not my cup of tea, it not a snooze fest. 😅😂 Some of the songs have definitely grown on me but Mono is still my favorite album that he has done so far. Indigo being second! 😭💜
Hello, Roscoe. Out of all the reactors I watch, I wanted to hear you first on this. Thank you for your reaction. I made some notes even whilst watching, so here goes - my own thoughts on 'Lost' that I wanted to share : Conformity to society. Being taped down to the world - but you just want to rip the tape off and just be you. He rants that part off in 'Groin' (easy to follow the English lyrics in the MV).. Hah! It's also almost like a dollhouse in certain scenes. And all that that comes - with being in a dollhouse. Yet, nothing bad. Processes of life. Just like both ARMY and BTS were so anxious about military - and then we go through it, still going through it, and we are OK. Lost...lifeless (living less of life)....yeahhhh (in Roscoe's voice). Did you realise - that towards the end of the song (I felt it, anway), Joon seemed to have come to an understanding of the past and current situations - and the song seemed to have slowed down a bit in almost a feeling of relief, like he is now comfortable with what has been happening. Indeed, Kim Namjoon has lived an exaggerated life. And it is all these multi-faceted and endearing things....that gives us reasons why we love our Joonie. Going on to your album reaction now. I really hope to be able to watch all the parts on YT. Catch you there!
I knew we were gonna spend an hour on each MV. I think you will be surprised with the rest of the album-it is a departure for him. But according to Jimin you can read this as a diary and see what he was thinking at the time.
I think LOST! is very inspired by Tyler the Creator and OutKast with not just the sound but the overall theme of the video too. There are so many similar elements here from the videos for EARFQUAKE and Hey Ya!
Ooohhh glad you mentioned Hey Ya as well! I also thought of that song and MV~ especially it being a kinda of sad song lyrically but also being really funky and dancey sonically! Brilliant catch
This song has of end 70's and early 80's European alternative electronic pop sound mixed with more modern elements! Even the MV has many references to the that era !! IT IS GENIUS !! The whole abum has borrowed many elements from that era and at some point we see Rap Monster becoming Rock Monster! THIS ALBUM is ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥Groin , Lost, Nuts and travel all around the world are my favs!!!
"I was so not expecting that." What's the rest of the album going to sound like? My opinion. I was so not expecting that. I listened to the whole album. I agree. I was so not expecting that. I'll wait til Roscoe listens to the rest of the album before I comment again. I am speechless.
Hey Roscoe! Wonderful theories. 😊 I think the 4 "people" lost with him are variations of map of the soul, with him you have the five levels. Persona , ego, self, shadow, anima... But that's just me.🤷🏾♀️ Journey on... 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
What I know for sure is that I want some of those miniatures 😂. Ppl telling you to hydrate, I hear you yelling something like you’re not my real dad! I don’t think I’ve ever worked somewhere with a water cooler but our city has abnormally good tasting water Have you ever looked at someone and thought what is going on inside their brain? 😂😂 I love how you go through the videos. I always learn something and notice something new 💜💜💜
9:19 From my understanding, I think he might be referring to his _predebut?_ and the one above it could be referring to Bangtan or BTS in Korean. This is just my theory, but since we're technically in Joonie's brain, he could be talking about how he's been lost for the past 10 years and has been searching for a purpose to understand himself. But due to being a member of one of the biggest boy groups in history, he cannot express himself the way he wants to without being judged by millions of people. Honestly, looking back at the MV, it kind of reminds me of The Truman Show. Like the scene of Joonie looking at the camera with that blank expression in the beginning and being aware of his surroundings like he knows something is just not quite right with this scenario. + What you said about the scene between the two hosts, where it seems like the man is breaking the fourth wall by looking at the camera, but it's not the camera he's actually looking at; it's the person outside of the 'world' that he is currently in, and he is desperately trying to reach out to them. Possibly asking for help. This ties into what I mentioned earlier, where Joonie feels that he cannot do certain things due to his current position and the expectations that other people have because of that. To put it simply, he is currently starring in his own Truman Show. Edit: @rebatsu mentioned something similar as well. I just extend it with my own thoughts so thank you! ☺️💜

El ritmo lo sentí como años 60. Algo del llamado twist o gogo. Es algo diferente. Como siempre volando el cerebro jajaja para entender el mensaje en su letra. El trabajo mv es muy bueno.
Lots of things going on here of course, it says RM´s brain in the begining of the MV, and in the maze, confusing scenarios, it is difficult to comprehend what´s going on inside his brain, he was struggling during BTS while creating amazing songs and leading them to success however at the same time he was feeling lost, he is still searching for himself, he´s showing us here the different faces of him, the different and various NamJoons there are. Nothing is for sure, he is still focusing on which path he will take in the future, and it must be confusing for us mortals of course. There is no definite genre for him neither, he is all, and he is none of them.
Намджун ошеломляет. ))) То что он сделал с командой людей, которых пригласил, поражает. И с первого раза понять очень сложно. Ким Намджун настоящий художник.
My interpretation is that this layer exists between reality and headspace. The left side had thick paperback books , boxes with lids, and trophies. The right side had suitcases and an abacus. If their being there was deliberate, what does that represent? I believe they're simplified physical representations of Namjoon's experiences. The boxes having lids sticks out to me, as those usually contain presents (or shoes), and the fact that they're placed next to trophies recontextualizes them to be the former interpretation. Together they represent the "gifts and talents" Namjoon possess. The books kind of tie the other objects together to mean "innate talent AND hard work" They're very reminiscent of the practice books you were given to take home from school and complete, and those take patience and effort. The suitcases and abacus attest for his travels and IQ, but we can take it further and say these represent RM putting his skills and knowledge into practice. I think the statement being made is that in addition to all RM's other personas holding him up, that middle layer of sub conscience is a slim reminder that RM really earned his success, even though there are times when he thinks of his mentors, friends, staff members, etc. and questions whether it is truly "his".
Roscoe go watch Jino's album reaction. It is the most hilarious review of his Ive ever witness. Joonies brain broke critical Jino to delulu muss fangirl 😂😂
Hi Roscoe, I believe the word on the Elevator panel right above "Nowhere" is the word "Pierdut". In Romanian it means, LOST. If you listen closely to that lady at the beginning of the video and when she speaks she seems to have a bit of a Romanian dialect. In any case, the video IS called, LOST. I put two and two together and there you go... You're welcome ❤
Precisionism and other aspects of Surrealism and Modern Abstract Art may have influenced the Levels of the Office Spaces the Joonies were trapped on. Surrealism in Film shouts Being John Malkovich to me.
Can the five personas called Namjoon represent the 5 senses? Or 5 emotion personas...he himself is the brain which observes and analyses...the others behaves differently...he reminds me of Inside Out...Also the way they shot the video reminds me of surrealism and the 60ies, I just love it.
I'm so glad i listened to you and your Deep Dive of RM's album . Now I understand why I didn't like most of the songs. It was too hard for me to listen to his anger. It hurt my heart to hear that chaos. But now I can say with assurance, RM is a genius....as always. Thanks again, Roscoe. K. O. D. D. King Of Deep Dive.
40 producers plus more helped RM create this Masterpiece. Per info from RM. Wow! How much did it cost to produce this album? It's priceless. That's for sure.
I loved the Jimin listening "party". He had such insight. He knows RM so well. And I think it's important to note RM picked Jimin over the other members. If you think about it...Jimin has a close relationship with all of them. RM is so brave to be so vulnerable and honest and share his truth. So Proud of him.
I've said this before in other comments on other channels and maybe even to Roscoe ..if the boys had NOT taken a break...I think they would have disbanded. Their break saved them and their brains. And they got to explore their own individual talent with their solo endeavors. Plus, I think them having a "normal" working job in the military away from show business has helped them too. I hope when they come back together they redraw their future. No More working with no breaks. No days off. No days off for holiday. They need time with their families. They need quality time with friends and time to date if they choose to. They have nothing to prove to us or Army or the world. They never have to win anymore awards. They have enough money for life! i want them to enjoy BTS at a slower place. But continue their creativity of course. Mr. Bang. Please don't overwork them ever again. Remember V said he was thinking of ways to hurt himself just so he could get a day off. We want mentally healthy BTS men to carry on. Who knows what will happen. But Dear God. Poor Joony suffered so much. They all did. Luckily they all survived!!!
Благодарю за интерпретацию 💐 Теперь буду ждать ваше мнение ко всему альбому. Мне кажется, в плане цифр в лифте - исследование не одного часа:) Намджун говорил, что не любит математику, но мне кажется, тут он отыгрался:)
You explained nothing BTW because this MV is quite hermeneutical, it's packed with symbolism that is hard to understand if one doesn't know Namjoon well. But it's ok, most of us will probably never figure it out. There is that part where I got impression as Joonie feels like running in big cycle like humpsters do in their cage, and that he many times felt like dehumanised ghost. At the same time, being a ghost liberates him in a way, because ghosts are never really seen. Not being really seen is source of discomfort, but also a souce of freedom, because when you are ghost, you have more freedom to be who you really are. For others you just need to put your mask on and you ill be seen as they want to see you. Also camera part, he is the one that holds that camera and is object of the camera at same time. He is reflecting back at himself as person in centre of the stage and the one behind in shadows. And temptation verse... as temptation is that got him in that labyrinth but also pushes him to climb up and takes a good look out of his box. I may not understand this MV well or maybe I don't understand it at all, but this is what I got from it so far. And love can make us lost and loose ourselves. Love can be pressure too. Especially if love is popularity, so expectations of fans he has to meet. I really don't know but this is my 5 cents.
I don’t know if it has any meaning but in the last scene with the 4 people staring at the light, two people in the right side have their ties on while the other ones in the left don’t
@@ThisRoscoe someone also theorised that it was RM imagining himself how it would have been if he would have been an office worker (he once told on the Tonight show that if he wouldn't be an artist he would be an office worker/a business man). But you see in the MV that it doesn't makes him happy and he wants to get out. And the only way out is by going back on stage. And then the image appears from the beginning of the MV, making it feel as if it/the MV starts over again. This would mean that he's drawn to the stage over and over again, because that's were he belongs, that's his 'right place'. And you see him at one point also behind and in front of the camera and this could mean he was contemplating if a life behind the screens (not in the spotlight) would be something for him. The multiple RM's in the maze and later on in the MV, could be him feeling lost/feeling an outsider in every possible scenario he's considering (behind the camera, presenting, an office worker, on stage). The different, strange acting people, could be the different sides of him, his personalities.
Remember CHANGE in INDIGO? when that track dropped in the middle I loved it. Snorted at its audacity. This is where the creative direction of CHANGE ended.
My theory is that RM was in a long relationship. For some reason he broke up and with that came aaaaall that uncomfortable feelings of feeling lost. The video is like those weird interviews that BTS had when the first american interviews where happening.. I mean thats maybe new for baby Armies but there was a time that American interviews where SOOOO WEIRD, and felt so nonsense just like these video. Theres is RM, and his different personas, the funny one, the nervous one, the feminine softy side, ready to show up or upfront the interview to entertein. Just like his role of RM as leader of BTS. Going to the lyrics, he is saying...Time flies, 14 years old, he's already 30 is that maybe the last time he has a "normal" life was back when he was 14 before his decision to enter into the music industry after that is "Dump it on the ground, Pick it up, throw it in the trunk" just like the suitcases that he has to carry, whenever he travel because of work. SInce 14 all his life was just working. I dont think he had "never been into a Club" but maybe it was recent for he to be in a club feeling completely free and single to do whatever he wants without feeling ashamed or guilty (sex, hard drugs, crazyness, idk...) that is normal for all of us in our twenties or even a common reaction after a break-up. "Ive never be so free before", in that especific moment of his life, he is not Leader of BTS, he is not an idol, he is not "the boyfriend" of someone.. and even tho it was a bitter experience he feel relieved.
I love this album. I like it better than Indigo and way more experimental. I love how he threw all the rules out the door and just poured his soul out. I've been listening to the album every day.
Feel like the water cooler drinking is him drowning in everything going on in his life, others were aware but wqtched on not knowing what to do,, street is entering booster stage of lonliness but doing it for us, rolling thru rooms- him living groundhog day, ref to western media, his life is living in a big game, elevator took them soo high sooo fast

He mentions being 14 and then now 30. Looking back at his years he felt lost. He never really was himself.
Agree. So sad. But that's his truth. Breaks my heart ❤️. He sacrificed so much. They all did.
But as their English speaking leader and main lyricist. He suffered the most

Very eloquently said.
That's a very well explained, thanks for this 👍🏼👌🏼
Gives me vibes of one my top fav most creative rock groups of all times.....TALKING Heads Yes yes! Bravo Bravo RM
👏👏👏👏💜💜💜💜
.
I thought the same!
I thought that was so cool. I loved RM popping up in the maze. Nobody can get in his head. He is unique for sure. Looking forward to the rest of the album.
Its like Wes Anderson + Jordan Peele gave birth to the MV. Love u Namjoon!
That's a good one.
YOU'RE SO RIGHT!!!
It grows on you. The more I listen to it, the more I love it...
This to me like RM sitting in a psyciatrian office telling he has all these sides of him he doesnt understand or cant go explore because of being 'RM'
Interesting theory.
Oooohhh interesting take!! considering his talk about contradictory sides of him in the minimoni episode..
I understand word club as symbolising freedom. Never being in club - never being one of those who are free.
@@0xyGen_2.p0that is what I thought too!
I need all the tiny Namjoons in my life 😂💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Etsy is probably whipping them up as we speak
You can’t put Rm in a box , he is a artistic genius! He exploring different genres!
It is ,,Pierdut,,.It means LOST in romanian language. The MV was filmed in Romania with romanian production team.🥰
Thank you for the Info.
I kinda addictive to Lost video aesthetic. The song pretty much got that retro video game vibe and the video is jamming to it.
Visually: Strong Talking Heads Stop Making Sense references, Being John Malkovich, Christopher Walken dancing in Fat Boy Slim MV, oh my so rich, existential, french farce, Dadaist, John Cleese in Monty Python, wow…then all the self reference to BTS’s work of course, the Butter elevator, Yoongi’s Amygdala scenario, Jhope’s office scenes in More, the boxes, the balloon from Permission to Dance, the 5 versions of Joonie walking around together reminds me of when they say “what do you prefer, 5 year old Joonie or 5 Joonies” omg gonna be be here all day
fiquei ainda mais curiosa sobre a sua teoria...
Made me think of Talking Heads as well.
The way you dove so deep in the video! Can't wait for the album review
That's a good way to put it. It's difficult for a mortal.
DIVINE!!!
24:01 . "I never felt so fine before." "Lost." 1:40. "I told you I'm fine tonight". "Come Back to Me." Hmmmm?
Some of the songs have definitely grown on me but Mono is still my favorite album that he has done so far. Indigo being second! 😭💜
Also, this was so beautifully written. 🌹💜
OPPA SLAY~
Yeah buddy I can’t wait to hit the album tomorrow. DEEP.
Love you man ❤
Your image is gone! Can’t ever get it back after this album!😂
This is his best album!!!!
i really appreciate very much famous actors congrats your song lost nice kim nam joon
5 personalities in RM follow him everywhere, and support him when he goes on stage.
Thank you for this reaction, Roscoe! Love watching you fossicking around Namjoon's brain.
This song is so addicting. The MV is amazing 💜💜💜💜
RM is a genius! One of my 7 loves!💜❤️
A couple of the guys from Balming tiger helped with the album as well as the videos. San Yawn, and wnjn 💜 it has their flavor all over the visuals.
There is a famous ARMY meme of 3 Spidermen that RM recreated in the mv.
namjoon is very talented and beautiful singer of course lost music fantastic im really appreciate nice kim nam joon
The 4 people with him are supposed to be his 4 personas - overconfident, anxious, goofy and jaded as confirmed by one of the cast members
Thought the same
Ooohhh glad you mentioned Hey Ya as well! I also thought of that song and MV~ especially it being a kinda of sad song lyrically but also being really funky and dancey sonically! Brilliant catch
absolutely !
I love the line "time flies like an arrow, 14 now their 30" wow!
E.A.E.P. RM's own genre.
I’m getting some everything everywhere all at once vibes maybe the being of John malcavich too. Joonies head is a weird and wonderful place
💜💜 RM 💜💜
"I was so not expecting that." What's the rest of the album going to sound like? My opinion. I was so not expecting that. I listened to the whole album. I agree. I was so not expecting that. I'll wait til Roscoe listens to the rest of the album before I comment again. I am speechless.
Namjoonis a genius musician
Me gustan los tres temas q escuche hasta ahora ,es genial Rm
Wait until you listen to the rest of the album. Listen to it like a book. It’s pretty EPIC.
You are the best for reactions❤
I love the four people behind joon which are his four alter egos! they all killed it
42 is the Answer to the Question of the Universe
I've been searching comments to see if anybody else had already commented that! Great catch!
Hey Roscoe! Wonderful theories. 😊 I think the 4 "people" lost with him are variations of map of the soul, with him you have the five levels. Persona , ego, self, shadow, anima... But that's just me.🤷🏾♀️
Journey on...
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Hmmmm. Interesting.
What I know for sure is that I want some of those miniatures 😂. Ppl telling you to hydrate, I hear you yelling something like you’re not my real dad! I don’t think I’ve ever worked somewhere with a water cooler but our city has abnormally good tasting water
Have you ever looked at someone and thought what is going on inside their brain? 😂😂 I love how you go through the videos. I always learn something and notice something new 💜💜💜
Roscoe. E.D.D. Excellent Deep Dive. Bravo!
Namjoon is the best artist ever
Here goes another video on a streak lol
Rm I'm obsessed with u 🤫💟💗👑
Namjoon Artistic genius 🤓is to much for my brain 🤯
Damn I feel like I'm in a literature analysis class, thank you for this😅
El ritmo lo sentí como años 60. Algo del llamado twist o gogo. Es algo diferente. Como siempre volando el cerebro jajaja para entender el mensaje en su letra. El trabajo mv es muy bueno.
Awards on left side. Are the books or album sets. Baggage in his brain for sure.
THE MV IS FILMED IN ROMANIA .. IN MY COUNTRY 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Can't wait for tomorrow's full album listen!!! 💜💜💜
Намджун ошеломляет. ))) То что он сделал с командой людей, которых пригласил, поражает. И с первого раза понять очень сложно. Ким Намджун настоящий художник.
33:00 someone was saying how that could be emotional baggage just under the surface that he suppresses a bit to function and carry on with life
My interpretation is that this layer exists between reality and headspace.
Rm had me giggling on this one.
Roscoe go watch Jino's album reaction. It is the most hilarious review of his Ive ever witness. Joonies brain broke critical Jino to delulu muss fangirl 😂😂
@2:04 The Buttons Light Up in a Lightbulb!!! 💡
Hi Roscoe,
I believe the word on the Elevator panel right above "Nowhere" is the word "Pierdut". In Romanian it means, LOST.
If you listen closely to that lady at the beginning of the video and when she speaks she seems to have a bit of a Romanian dialect.
In any case, the video IS called, LOST. I put two and two together and there you go...
You're welcome ❤
Saw a post in twitter mention that the button says Pierdut, which means Lost in Romanian
Precisionism and other aspects of Surrealism and Modern Abstract Art may have influenced the Levels of the Office Spaces the Joonies were trapped on.
Surrealism in Film shouts Being John Malkovich to me.
Feeling strong influence from N.E.R.D. Fun!!
Can the five personas called Namjoon represent the 5 senses? Or 5 emotion personas...he himself is the brain which observes and analyses...the others behaves differently...he reminds me of Inside Out...Also the way they shot the video reminds me of surrealism and the 60ies, I just love it.
Remember there will be 2 more mv's to be released.
💜
Sound of closing door= he found himself.
I'm so glad i listened to you and your Deep Dive of RM's album . Now I understand why I didn't like most of the songs.
It was too hard for me to listen to his anger. It hurt my heart to hear that chaos. But now I can say with assurance,
RM is a genius....as always.
I've said this before in other comments on other channels and maybe even to Roscoe
..if the boys had NOT taken a break...I think they would have disbanded.
I'm not a fan of this specific kind of music or visual personally, but it's so well done!
Благодарю за интерпретацию 💐 Теперь буду ждать ваше мнение ко всему альбому. Мне кажется, в плане цифр в лифте - исследование не одного часа:) Намджун говорил, что не любит математику, но мне кажется, тут он отыгрался:)
The watercooler is living in a fishbowl.
RM seriously considers exiting from this fishbowl life.
Your reactions are always amazing, thank you so much ❤ please react to his whole new album Right Place Wrong Person plus his previous projects ❤
I don’t know if it has any meaning but in the last scene with the 4 people staring at the light, two people in the right side have their ties on while the other ones in the left don’t
I've said before that RM is starting to sound like more and more So!Yoon! from Se So Neon.
one of the first things that popped in my head when i heard the album
I just realized there’s 7 characters in this video….
42:42 I agree it is his version of my time.
You're saying it's clearly not his voice but could it not be his voice manipulated because there's not a feature mentionned on this track..
You’re right. I thought about that.
@@ThisRoscoe someone told me the person who sings this part is mentionned in the credits. So it's not his voice manipulated.
@@jenniferrassart3054 got it! Thank you!
Listen a few more times.
BTS sempre 💜💜💜🇧🇷
RM maravilhoso
The number 44 has a lot of different meanings and also there are several song names like 44 fours jay z .but maybe this is unrelated
***** How about his "GROIN" ?
I love this album. I like it better than Indigo and way more experimental. I love how he threw all the rules out the door and just poured his soul out. I've been listening to the album every day.
Feel like the water cooler drinking is him drowning in everything going on in his life, others were aware but wqtched on not knowing what to do,, street is entering booster stage of lonliness but doing it for us, rolling thru rooms- him living groundhog day, ref to western media, his life is living in a big game, elevator took them soo high sooo fast
They are all dressed the same because they sre all RM....different emotions/egos of his personality.
This Alternative music.
This MV was too confusing for me to figure out, I actually felt Lost watching this...will leave to professional therapists to explain🤷♂️😣😄😄
Lost reminds me of Tyler the creator’s earthquake both visually and sonically
We need reaction to memorabilia for enhypen please
