@lupes6372 lmao I am?? unfortunately scooter is a creative director of hybe so he gets money from bts too. Also Hybe overworks txt to exhaustion and bangpd is just a weirdo. It's time we start boycotting all Kpop companies for the shit they pull.

@kookiesthiccbicep6506 this album has nothing to do with that it's literally only being distributed by big hit creative director? is his name anywhere on this album?

@@An4n4s5 yall give scooter so much credit when it comes to bts, it’s actually so ridiculous. Boycotting bts’s work means nothing to him when his main money makers r in hype America. Following ur logic we should be boycotting every other kpop grp who are also associated with zionists (they’re not) but no one cares bc it sounds stupid. Putting all this effort in donating and directly helping Palestinians, is way more sufficient.

For this album Namjoon actually worked with San Yawn, the creative director for Balming Tiger! RM previously worked with them on their song "Sexy Nukim". They're very much an alternative group when it comes to their unique sound! Apparently they did a song camp at Hybe with like 40 writers/producers/composers to put together this album. I believe he said it's the first time he worked with others so much like this to create his album and he really enjoyed it! I think that's why we were able to have an album like this that is SO different in sound and I love it!

Yes, my friend, I agree with what you say, RM is one and only.
RM loves Jazz and if you notice in the album there are many roads such as jazz rock, afro jazz, jazz funk, married with rap. In many parts of the album I see Frank Zappa in this brilliant album of RM.
    I consider it a musical diamond!! !!!!!!!
This artist is a genius.. He is great.!!!

This album is far from kpop and is not meant for the charts. It is meant for artistic expression. I applaud RM for his bravery to release a very experimental album. My first thought about the whole album is that he wants the listener to be immersed in the chaos of his mind. The Lost MV felt like a lucid dream and it is successful in portraying "inside Namjoon's mind". The whole album made me feel and think the same way I do with modern performance art - Really thought provoking! This album is not for everyone and certainly not for general consumption... but I love it because it is just so different and has a fresh take on music. Seriously, it is simply genuis!

In a world of bland homogeneous pop. RM makes you stop and think. Its strangely addictive and after a 4th or 5th listen... its a favourite. In a world of fast fashion and fast pop designed more for the fast buck than art. RM is that rare breed. A successful artist with alot to lose who just wants to make music. He trusts that his fans are not stupid and will enjoy complex ideas, interesting sound scapes and music designed to provoke your own imagination not be disposable brain dead junk.

The whole album is SO GOOD! The amount of times I got the goosebumps while listening to it.. The lyrics and the production go insane It blew my expectations and they were already so high. I'm so proud of Namjoon
RPWP ate so bad. Literally the album of the year. It's incredible. 🔥🔥
Namjoon said that he lived a dynamic live and that when he became friend with an artist, that person mentioned how contradicting his personality is, that's how the beginning of this whole project started.
Jimin mentioned that in Indigo he felt that Namjoon still had something else buried and that everything came out in this album. And he's so right! I totally feel that in RPWP the explosion of freedom, conflicted emotions and inner thoughts are more noticeable. Namjoon portrayed that contradictory self really well. It felt like a story line but at the same time full of ups and downs and unexpected changes.

It makes it feel so much more personal and real, adding more weight to everything. I might be an outlier because I really love RM solo albums and his features (and I also love Agust D) but I dont really like most BTS that I’ve heard. Usually it’s fine, just not engaging for me but could be on in the background. (I do like blood sweat and tears. And I like that random song Super Tuna I think by Jin? It’s fun lmao)
I don’t say this at all to be disparaging. I just think it’s interesting. Every member is very talented but there’s such a broad swath of types of music they make and like. And I guess I do wish that more of these types of sounds were in more BTS tracks.

oh my god the bias towards kpop is one big problem. Yesterday I was driving with my brother (who, in principle, does not treat music in any special way, as if for him it’s “just music”), he usually has the radio playing in the car. We were returning from another city and I didn’t like the music that was on the radio, so I offered to put on my own playlist, to which he answered me “God no” (because he knows that I like K-pop). to which I replied that I listen not only to kpop... As a result of 10 minutes of thought, I simply turned on different pop songs (directly from the phone, without connecting to the car), he drove calmly without reacting to them (well, as is usually the case) and for the experiment I put on the song “Aroud the world in a day” (it’s my favorite on the album and it’s completely in English so he wouldn’t notice that it was any different) after half the song had passed and the guitar appeared he started shaking his head (I have in view of this, this was the biggest reaction that I could expect from him🤌🏻) then next I turned on Lost, but he caught the moment with the Korean lines, added 1+1 and was like “you turned on K-pop” and he returned to his usual state and rummaged through on his phone and turned on a podcast about politics 🥲.
