They didn't have time to explore most of it, although they have done a great job . If you are in Europe, Bulgaria should be easily reachable. It's nice in our part of the world, and I mean not only Bulgaria but also our neighbors in Balkans. And you'll be surprised how affordable is it.
Glad you loved my city and country, guys! 🇧🇬 Hope you can try more food the next time. Beside the meat dishes we also have many tasty salads, vegan 'postni sarmi', stuffed peppers or tomatoes, potato dishes etc. There's literally a day in the year where all country goes vegan (Christmas Eve) so we have created many tasty vegan dishes for the occasion. ✨
So glad you enjoyed your stay in Bulgaria! The Rila lakes is one of my favorite places here but there are tons more, so make sure you come again soon ☺️
Vitoshka is shopping heaven! LOL I moved to Bulgaria from the US 2 years ago and I just LOVE it! My wife and I bought a 100 yr old village home and have been remodeling since. There are still so many places we've not visited! A truly beautiful country with beautiful people. BRAVO! I'm happy you had the opportunity to visit and even happier that you are calling attention to this part of the world!
Twenty years ago I travelled around Europe for a summer, and Sofia was one of my favorite cities I visited (Ljubljana Slovenia would be just a bit ahead of Sofia). Love your channel, and hopefully you will continue your adventures after country 100, because it's wonderful to see your perspectives on the places you visit.
Hey guys, thank you for sharing my country and my hometown Sofia to the world. Sofia was empty because in the summer most of the people are going to the black sea… but i love Sofia empty… much more room for me! 😁
I just wanna add that Sofia is the only capital in Europe where you can see Mosque, Synagogue and a church within metres as it's called by elder people in our country "the circle of religions", representing how people with diff religions live in harmony with eachother here
This is the first video of you two I stumble upon, so I checked the previous one as well. You guys showed my city and country in the best way possible. As a person near her 30s, born here, I have never been so excited about what you guys will say. I photographer Sofia Pride and I searched through my RAW footage for 1 hour, but no photos of you, idk how I missed you two.. ICONIC. I hope you will come back soon, so we can go to the seaside together, I would really love to meet you two! Adorable!

Amazing guys! How did you survive the cold? I guess that must be your Swedish strength and tenacity! That ski lift trip must have been awesome. The lakes and mountains look fantastic. Thanks for showing part of Sofia. It looked wonderful. Can't wait to see your next travelogue. Best always, David
I absolutely love your plan to visit 100 countries in a year, will be following along! It is also super refreshing to see my home city from the perspective of people who have traveled around quite a lot though you have definitely picked the best time to come to Sofia - in summer when most people are at the seaside even locals feel like they are on vacation :) Travel safe and enjoy!

"This is the people (Bulgarians) who before you had everything they wanted; a people in which he acquired titles, which bought his nobility with the blood of the enemy, in which the battle-field glorifies the family, because among them it is considered without hesitation that he is more noble whose weapon has been more bloodied in battle; they are a people who before the battle with you had never encountered an opponent who could resist him, and a people who for a long time carried out their wars only by raids”.
Magnus Felix Enodius - "Praise for King Theodoric" (6th century).
3-4 days of recovery because of air con? Correlation does not imply causation. If you are having this bad a reaction I would consider some other constants that you might be able to mitigate. Allergies maybe?
