I`ve been tinkering with exactly this kind of water for a medieval harbour. The way you present it here is awesome and I guess this is the best variant I know so far to build a stable floating water surface in this size. Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
Very true! I thought about that but then the water was too heavy for no supports and looked too thick, but that’s a good point! It may work great for some builds!
great Tutorial, love the use of brackets, all of your work, I am interested in how fragile the water is?, I would think in transport or other things it would fall off easily.
Good question! I haven't used this technique on a larger scale, but for this MOC it is VERY solid once you tile off the ends. Tiling it off just ties it all together and makes it one solid sturdy piece. And if it still needs some support maybe you could build some rockwork supporting it and poking through the water. Just an idea!

@@semoatwo Amazing! So glad this was helpful! That medieval harbor build sounds very cool indeed!
Nice! Thanks for detailing and sharing!!
@@DTL_Builds Hope it’s helpful! 😊
Awesome tutorial, thanks!!
You should post and sell these mocs on rebrickable! I would pay
You could build the water 2 bricks thick & that would eliminate the half stud issue.
