Can you make a video, how to prepare the switch to play online at least the safest way to not get banned? I know a ban risk will always be, but at least a way to be at the lowest risk.
I heard of people who are playing online since years without getting banned, how did they manage that?
use emunand, use exosphere.ini, blank the serial. or use legit games on sysnand, don't use pirated games
I've always just played online fine. Just don't use mods or pirated games. You could also use an emunand, but that has been said. If you don't want to use one, playing without mods still works and you won't get banned.

That’s why the banned window says “restricted” it doesn’t mean your system is completely blocked from the Nintendo servers.
This console was super-banned, i could not update the firmware some years ago.

Users can't use sxos after this. Nintendo open updates because to catch some of them like this... Very clever move😂 before you can't update console from the settings menu...
You can't use sxos after fw 11.0 and newer games are needing new sig patches, which you cannot do with sxos and new 12x encryption keys are being added on newer releases, which cannot be bypassed by "ignore firmware check" on lower firmware. Sxos is dead in the water.
Sthetix, I've been following you for a year or so, and you helped me hack many 3DS' of people that are close to me! I just ordered a RCM Jig for my Switch, what should I take into account? Any tips?
that jig is for v1 unpatched only. it wont work on patched consoles

So I'm considering buying an already banned switch so I can use a training mode mod pack in smash ultimate. I could do the mod, but I could live without the risk of being banned, and without the headache of obtaining the modchip.
My question, while probably very silly, can you update the games on the switch while its banned like this? I'm sure the answer is yes, but I'd feel awful stupid if I spent the money and was wrong

There's no point updating if you're still banned. You have to be on the latest fw to pay online or use the eshop. What's the point this is like tomato sauce without the chips.

Most people update because nintendo won't let you go on there game servers unless you're on the latest fw. But Nintendo won't let you on there game servers with a banned console anyway. So why update?

What's the difference between Super-Banned & Banned.
super banned means you cannot update the console online. but you can update a banned switch online.

@@sthetixofficial I guess, I just want to move my digital version of terraria data to my terraria game cartridge. There a curtain hack that only works with the cartridge version and not the digital version that I had so much progress in and don’t want to waste and start over.

i do have the prodinfo guide but it blanks the serial.. and it did work with the old guide, ole method, but now it doesn't work anymore. please buy another console

Yes, you cab download the updater file from a healthy console or download the updater file from somewhere (need to hack ur console first)

Nintendo and their "limited digital releases" and removing any game they want when they want makes me want more and more to own a "modified" Nintendo Switch...

tergantung si sellernya masih pake sxos walau udah kadaluarsa atau dia udah pake atmosphere. sx core itu nama modchipnya, bukan operating system nya. yg namanya operating system itu adalah sxos atau atmosphere (cfw nya)

Hi there! Currently I use sxos but now im stuck in the last fw that works.... everything works fine but I can't play the newest games. I tried using the tutorial you have in your website 'from sxos to atmosphere' but it didn't work I believe you said because of the sigpatches or the emunand or I don't know what else ... and you told me you would soon post a video on how to do that... truth be told: these things are literally Chinese for me!!! and I leave in Beijing ...haha! but seriously ... is difficult... Wouldn't it be better if I Just do what you did in this video? I mean format my SD card and update to the latest official firmware and then install Atmosphere and copy back all my games (XCI and NSPs?) I would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance . (Obviously my switch is banned... I know if I do this i would be deleting all files from SxOs from the sd card but i really wanna play newer games)
you can use my pack :

extract it to the sd card, it will boot to hekate if you are using a patched switch. if you are using the older V1 unpatched switch, you need to send / inject the hekate payload (its the payload.bin inside the archive).

you dont have to delete or remove anything, just extract the pack, then you can update the fw later using daybreak.

Bang, punyaku dual boot pakai Atmosphere, waktu coba ke sysnand dan cek bisa masuk eShop ga, aku dapat error 2123-001, aku kena banned kah?
Aku baca-baca karena ada exosphere.ini prodinfonya nyala jadi serial sysnand jadi XAW000000. Isinya blank_prodinfo_sysmmc=1
sama blank_prodinfo_emummc=1. Aku lupa belum buat rawnand, katanya kalau serial kosong harus restore sedangkan aku tidak punya. Semoga kalau aku buat sysmmc = 0, aku bisa buat back-up rawnand :(
Aku dah coba ubah sysmmc = 0, dan serial muncul lagi. Aku juga sudah buat back-up rawnand.bin. Aku boot ke sysnand, konek internet dan cek news ada yg baru. Lalu coba test system update, ga ada error seperti sebelumnya. Sepertinya aku sudah temukan jawaban pertanyaanku. Aku ga akan update sysnand, yg penting sudah tau kalau tidak kena banned.
kalo pake hats saya, saya memang proteksi itu koneksi nya jadi untuk menghindari ban, jadi kalo mau online, harus dari real OFW. alias dari hekate, tekan reboot lalu OFW.
dan exosphere.ini baiknya jangan dihapus.
