I don't know why everyone is thinking there's going to be a part 2 when there's no theme that pushes for one. Seems to me your all getting lost in the sauce on these one because it seem to me Gege was prequel baiting with how he ended Sukuna's story.
A potential part 2 won’t play into the series legacy? I feel like when people talk about Naruto they think of both parts and some only reference shippuden
If a part 2 does happen it will for sure play into the series legacy (honestly I view Naruto and Naruto Shippuden as one continuous story)! But I didn't want my thesis for this vid to be based on something that might or might not happen but instead focus on the story we have gotten so far. So that is more what I meant when saying I wasn't interested in theorizing about a potential part two. if that makes sense haha
Gege stated a lot of his inspiration did come from Bleach and Yu Yu Hakusho, but i can definitley see Naruto parallels as well Thanks for pointing that out!
I strongly feel like Gege is gearing us up for a Part 2 or a sequel based on how many loose ends there are to tie up in the last chapter! But also... I'm still a Gojover denier. 😅

Yes! I feel the Naruto connections a lot at the very start of the series and the Bleach/Togashi more and more as the story progresses
