In this video I challange myself to a rock only aquascape. But more than that, I wanted to create a mountain style aquarium that keeps a sense of scale and perspective. Not easy to do at all but I think the finished look is pleasing.

Great video again, 😊👍x Are the rocks you use in your tanks any special kind? It's just I am making up a new tank for a baby musk turtle and have some little plant parcels made up and I wanted to place some rocks within the tank to pop them in, and wondered if there were any specific kinds I should buy, 😊x Thanks

Dunno what it is about the tanks with a pathway, but whenever I get the chance to make a planted aquarium I’ll deffo replicate this look

You can actually put moss and glue in a mixer and paint the stones with that mixture. The moss will still grow (if you dont mix to long) and looks amazing when grown to full size... Saw it one TH-cam-Video, but I can't remember the name... 😅
not with glue just plain water i think! then u kinda paint it and dry start it to let it grow and hold onto the wood/rock!
if we're thinking about the same vid its by mj aquascaping i believe!! 😬
MJ does it with moss and yogurt or moss with water and dry start

So I've watched all your videos numerous times, this Platy mountain tho is by far the one I've watched most! I just love it so much. It's seriously just so awesome, really feels as if I am looking at actual mountains and that valley path way is just perfect!
I probably would have done a blue frosted background to give that "sky" effect. But outside of that... STUNNING! Great job again MD!

I really like that you are expanding your range a bit more with scapes like these. They are quite a bit different than your usual tanks and I think that's a good thing both for your own growth but also for us as (long time) viewers

I mean for babies most people would just do a grow out tank with a bare bottom and lots of plants
Edit: some people wouldn't even do a growing tank and just put the babies in a plastic box in the tank, or some people just lea e jem and let them in the tank

I love fish and aquascaping, watching your videos are so satisfying. I have an aquarium and I still don't know what kind of scape I want but I know I'm doing aquatic soil, quartz sand, and black medium sand. I have two large rocks and I intentionally found this video to give me a sort of idea of what I would like to do. I started becoming obsessed when I was mm 15 and now I'm 17:) I can't wait to set this up, thanks for the creative ideas!! (btw your funny lol).
