Love watching you guys harvesting in them steep hills. I’m an injured weatie traveling from tx to canada and I’ve been cutting on some hills but nothing like you guys.. stay safe , love the video’s, makes me miss combining ….
Cutting wheat in the hills has to be the most fun part of farming in this region. Right there with driving a self propelled sprayer at 13 MPH up and down them and sliding around on them.
Thanks for introducing all of us to Mr. Hunter Carter! Certainly want to wish him all success he wants to have - he's chosen a tough business, but hope he can fulfill his dreams. Nice machine too - I remember when I was a kid and the 9600 came out. Someone brought one to my grandfather's farm and I remember riding with him for a little bit. It seemed just huge, and that it dwarfed his 8820. Gramps passed on getting one, though. 🤷♂
Hunter reminds me of myself at 18 bought my own land to start farming as a senior in high school go Hunter don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it 👍👍👌
Thanks Trevor, thanks for introducing him, what a resourceful young man. I wish him the best of luck. With his determination, ambition and some good fortune, he should make it!
When I was five I got to be the wrench holder as they would put me inside the old hillside John Deere 36 pull to do repairs. A 95 H showed up one day and it was so cool. It had a catwalk around opposite the unload auger. Never any AC. Just a nice sun top.
That 9600 is actually an unbranded 9632. It has a Rahco hillside under carriage. I might have actually driven that combine. Rahco would install the under carriage on the farm. Our neighbor purchased a 9600 in the mid west. And had shipped to Oregon for the conversion. Thank you for another nice video.
Dammit! Based on the title I thought you were saying there was a combine for sale $20k. My wife was gonna be fuckin PISSED! Cuz I was gonna go buy it cuz YOLO! 🤣 I don't need a combine, don't have anything to harvest, no farms anywhere near me. Nor do I really have the space to park it, but I do I would just kinda be in the way. But I was still gonna go buy it 🤣🤣
Lol. Theres a 1670 hillside for sale for 6500 on marketplace. At the Lind demolition derby they sell 500 dollar combines to rqce and whatnot. Thats an idea for you
Jesus Maria Trevor. It's amazing that a 30-year-old combine still works so well. Yes, the new X9 costs, as you said, 1.2 million. So try our Class 8900, which is 400 thousand cheaper but much more efficient Greetings from Europe - Slovakia.

It is a tough business, but he was a positive guy. He’ll figure it out. It was pretty big yeah.

That young man deserves to succeed and I wish him a good future.
lol. thanks John!
Ran grain elevators over 40 years ago to get through college. That combine was 10 years from being built yet. Some people were still using 95's.

Les sous-titres fonctionnent-ils en français ? J'ai créé le fichier de légende moi-même, donc c'est correct. Merci d'avoir commenté !
Another interesting harvest show , good for that young man (farmer)😊😊

Hello! Any fine oldie holds it's pride to do the job...
It was like a time capsule for sure.
@@TrevorStruthers 👌
The 9632 was THE combine back then. We skipped that model and went from 6622 and 7722 to red machines.
Wow. So did my dads farm. I learned on a 6622 and we went to case until 2012 when he sold all of them and has it custom cut.
Nice
Ty !
❤❤❤❤
Thanks
Thank you!
@@TrevorStruthers You're welcome
BTW, how late is harvest gonna be going on? Might boogie out there next weekend if it's still gunna be a couple more weeks.
Theres some garbanzo beans here we are yet to cut. The guys up north by spokane i bet r still cutting. The big operations at least
Trevor, you should also buy such combine for 20k and do your own business.
Definitely agree 👍💯
