    Thanks for the honest review. Homers (crazed brand loyalists) always get bent out a shape when someone criticizes their favorite brands/machines. Not everyone can afford the latest and greatest or have nearby dealers, but for some of us, these honest reviews help us when making major purchases for our individual situations.

    Case 8250 has a 410 bu grain tank, not 400 like the S series deere. You said it produces a better sample and has less losses out of the back, which in money in your pocket and that says it all. Better lighting makes for better productivity, which says more. I would not count a stereo, refrigerator or sports car feel as attributes as they don't put money in your pocket.

    Hi Mike. You are missing two of the biggest assets on the red one that the green one doesn’t have. First is the self levelling shoe and the ability to rock your rotor! The unload auger might be slower cause they haven’t lifted the pans over the cross augers in the grain tank. I laugh that you would put John Deere guidance in the combine why not just upgrade the system in the red one to the same as the Deere. I feel this would cost you less than putting an entirely new system.

    We don’t have a problem from keeping grain from being thrown over on our s780s. We have 3 with 45 foot deer Draper headers and we have almost no volunteer grain growing after. But we have a lot of mods on the rotor and concave and some drive pulleys mods for the thrashing components that gives the combine more capacity .We also travel faster than 3 miles a hour and our crops are usually heavy. So I would not say John Deere combines throw a lot over at all.

    John Deere much quieter in the cab than the Case at least sounds like it. Lights better on the Case.

    Pro700/autosteer, and the spreader are the worst things about an 8250. Case held onto the pro 700 about ten years too long. And the whale tail spreader is garbage.

      We have a patriot sprayer with a pro 700 (soon to be swapped out with. New raven system ) but I hate that pro 700 more then anything on the planet just a complete pos from end to end

    why does this combine sounds like a tamagotchi on steroids? 🤣

  • @CaryGuyer
    @CaryGuyer 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Well, just as with any other guidance system on the market, whether you have a 20 foot header or a 120 foot header, there is a buffer zone that is calibrated and dialed into what guidance system is being used. A foot this way and a foot that way, it averages out the system. If you don't like it, be a man and hand steer and see how much you complain. You sound like a 5 year old girl complaining that her pony won't come to her........

      Case better grain sample and lights and thats about it, buddy from high school had 40 hours on a new case combine it burnt down his shed and two new peterbilt 389s because the case had a hydraulic fire. Deeres auto guidance is better all around technologically, refrigerator, awesome sound systems, better tractors than case, and better planters, oh and of course the Hagie sprayers are much better than the apaches or whatever case has.

      @Thegrim326 if you like working on your equipment, replacing parts every day and chasing electrical gremlins the have at it, Case is your perfect match.

      @Thegrim326 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Ole_CornPop nah that's junk deere never had a problem with case had plenty with junk deere. And keep talkin bud I'll bet you trillions of dollars to the fact if you go to an area where deere and case are equally bought I'll bet when passing repair shops you'll see way more junk deere's than case equipment

      If he was trash talking the machine I would be right there with you. But he's giving what feels like an honest review, pointing out pros and cons in comparison to what he's used to. Owning/selling that machine I would value his feedback and be quite proud that he lists major combine specs (lighting, sample, losses) as pros.
