Thanks for your videos. Will be going there to Philippines next year and Spain this August to throw kamatis at each other. Saw your posts for Spain and will be watching more! Hope to run into you somewhere around the world. Maraming salamat ...mahalo nui loa.
I visit Philippines five times a year and always surprised to see the changes everytime I visit. I live in San Diego and have not seen changes in the last 10 years. 😅
Glad you made it in the Philippines, you might be surprised that blogging here is a dream for all blogger I can guarantee that Jay. Just watch the magic happen because your US followers are following yo7 there in addition to Philippines followers! Be safe! and have fun!
Fun fact my family had a factory and we produced frozen food in the supermarket and also made siopao and we would sell it in our house in Marcelo Green Village in Paranaque . Yes I lived a lavish life when I was in the Philippines but little things like siopao brings back wonderful memories. 😊
Loving this series as I went back to the PI last October for the first time since 2018. Reliving the memories. Yes, Intramuros was really cool, just watch some days some of the spots are closed (like Casa Manila).
Thanks for showing us your travels. I've been learning so much about the Philippines 🇵🇭 would love to see some beaches n national parks if you get the chance.

Jay, I am a fellow Californian and I am considering visiting Manila this year between the end of July and early August. Is it still worth visiting in the rainy season? Any advice or info you can give helps, thank you.
Badass u got to see Mom Duty Fam. Hittup the Uptown Parade / Uptown Mall Side of BGC. That is where i will be staying. So many Restaurants to choose from super hard to decide
@Jaycation thanks Bro! Would like to see you Make a Video at Poblacion Bars! The trendy side of Makati. That'd be sick! Filling Station American Diner would be a good review
Some of the greatest golf stories happens at Intramuros Golf course! Legendary golf hustlers await ready for action lol Historic Intramuros is a must for Manila visitors. I gotta try Intramuros liqueur
Damn I need to visit Philippines last time I was there was I was 3. It’s been a hot minute! When I watched wil dasovich’s vlogs I remembered seeing alodia and Jako and bogart on their vlogs.
A new hole in the wall taco shop is close by if you need a taco fix. Hermano's Taco Shop BGC Branch. It's at 109 GF, Bonifacio Stopover Cororate Center, 2nd Ave. It's not San Diego but close enough for us San Diego expats to fix our birria cravings.
Please try ‘Pagpag’. It is the official national dish of the Philippines 😁 It is the most common and staple dish in every household in the Philippines ❤ Proud to be Pinoy❤️🇵🇭
I hope you can make it to Davao City and Bacolod in Negros occidental. I've always wanted to see those places, and by the way, I was in the Philippines over ten years ago I was in Cebu and I actually stayed in the Elizabeth Hotel like you did and no it was not so great in that town. I also went to Bohol which I liked and visited Dumaguete and that place was actually okay. I don't know if I'll ever visit again but if I do I'll go to Boracay and check out Davao City and Bacolod
I am trying to declutter now and I keep remembering the uber driver who I think was retired man from Philippines and he studied cultural anthropology for business in college, so he told me about what a poor person's house looks like
I buy siopao at 7-11 also if I can't go to Binondo or Chinatown. BGC might be safer than other places but there are still bad elements out there. Stay safe since you hardly see any honest cops out there.👍

it was about 6 years since i visited family in manila too haha but low key i did not like visiting lol i feel like outside of visiting family, i really didn't like the traffic and transportation options in manila (even though grab is VERY cheap). also outside of the malls and bgc/makati there's not much to do in manila. also feels bad to pass by all of the shanty housing and then be in super modern/extravagant areas within 1-2 minutes away that feels like a different world
Brother those filipino panels are famous famous... but u werent even moved one bit hahaha theybhave millions and millions of followers in th philippines

Definitely changed since the 90s. I think Mega Mall was the only main mall around there back then. Great video Jay.
