Even now, more than half of the features aren’t even available for people who bought the iPhone 16. Not to mention, their partnership with ChatGPT is a borderline scam. You only have access to ChatGPT for 24 hours before they cut off your access and ask for $20 per month to use the feature that Apple was advertising so hard for. Realistically, what do we even get with the on device AI? Summarizing texts and emails, generating silly emojis and pictures, scanning things with your camera, removing things from photos (very poorly btw) and an “improved” Siri that now (with 18.2 at least) takes a million years to relay the weather to you. Apple could’ve taken their time like they do with everything else, to give a full AI release, but instead they jumped at the opportunity to try to outsell the Galaxy S24 Ultra by “releasing” Apple Intelligence.
I just switched from the google pixel 8 pro and they haven’t integrated AI nearly as well as Apple 🍎. Apple is integrating everything to work cohesively whereas android has AI but it is segmented and compartmentalized. I like the Apple approach but I’m no fanboy as I just have my first iPhone 16 pro.
The dark line in the photos app is due to the fact that the progressive blur in the library view at the top is not transitioning correctly to transparent at the end

Apple specifically mentioned French, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese in their announcement event in September although they only said “next year” which isn’t very specific. I thought I had read March somewhere but can’t remember where. Maybe some other major languages will be available too but if your main language is less widely used like Estonian, Hungarian or Maltese I think you could be waiting a long time.

Since the latest beta updates if you use photoshop to edit your photos every single one comes out blurry after any edits that are made, even something as simple as colour brightening.

My iPhone 11 dropped to 76% 18.1.1 so I did 18.2 beta 4 same thing drag Was 93% in 18.1 but slowed iPad Pro is 98% no issues Both refuse to recognize iMessage 💬 sends to my android friends worked before & still is enabled also drag for sending video

Since The rollout of iOS 18 (this includes 18.1.1), I can NOT get a vibration alert with new emails from mail app on silent. All my settings are correct, no focus mode, haptics are all turned on, etc. and have tried everything. But no luck. Apple has not addressed this issue yet with so many people are having this same issue. Text messages and other alerts work fine. Just no vibration for new emails from the mail app. I never know when a new email has arrived on silent mode. It’s so frustrating. Please fix this bug Apple in 18.2.

Hi, I'm using iOS 18.1.1 on my iPhone 16 pro max. I have noticed that, before I did the 1st AI update, my phone would charge to 80% as set in the settings. But since the update, it charges to 100%, even though I have it still set to 80% in the battery setting. Has anyone else seen this?

It’s been fixed for a couple versions however, if you still have that issue, Apple has a workaround to fix it. It’s in the release notes but basically you change your password to just a numeric password instead of an alpha numeric password then reboot and it should fix it.
touch issus are happening a lot for me and it seems o be related to the outer edges a lot. On curved edge models, it's more and bigger pain! check for typos or gibberish and its mostly iPhone.
18.1.1 seems to jam up my 16 pro max every now and again and regularly on my ipad iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (4th generation) which is really really glitchy. Sometimes settings just hangs / white screen … safari just jams up. Worst stability of any apple iOS release I’ve ever experienced.
same here. Also WiFi issues, hotspot, VPN (that I need for work, so I can't just turn it off), missing notifications... I thought 18 would be more stable than 17, but it seems like they have focused on other stuff instead.
I’m on 13 mini and I have no battery issues gets through all day no problem without heavy use. The only bug I’ve see so far is when starting a TH-cam video I’d double plays the first second of the video like a cd skip

I'm on 18.2 beta 4 on a iPhone 13 with verizon and ive had constant issues with cellular going in and out for hours at a time, and it hasnt worked at all today. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Only issue I'm facing is delayed notifications started on iOS 18 but got worse on iOS 18.1 (iOS 18.1.1 didn't fix it). Basically notifications are delayed for hours or calls from third party apps wouldn't go through if device is idle. Been seeing alot of post about it on Reddit and Apple Community, but from the looks of it Apple hasn't been able to fix it yet. I had been in contact with a specialist for two weeks now and all they can do is have me send logs or troubleshoot it, they still can't tell what's causing it.
iOS 18.1.1 is terrible on iPhone 16 pro max. iPhone apps don’t respond the photos app suddenly freezes, when on a phone call the battery drains drastically and gets really warm, widgets and apps won’t shift automatically some stay dark while others shift to day. Battery drains like 7% even when on standby. Apps not responding. Safari won’t and load and website/page properly plus notifications are delayed this is becoming frustrating to be honest come on apple you can do better than this.
I’m a new subscriber and I am on a iPhone 16 Pro Max and I’ve been having a problem with Face ID. It worked fine for about 3 weeks and then it stopped working so I went to the Apple Store after spending 2+ hours on the phone trying to get it fixed. We set up Face ID at the store and it worked fine but after I got home it stopped working again after two days so I spent a hour on the phone trying to reinstall Face ID and it didn’t work so I went back to the store and we setup Face ID again and it worked fine! We did test on the software and hardware and everything was fine! It has been working great since then but I’m just waiting to see if it does it again!
With the number of features that are on current iPhones it would really really be nice to be able to access app settings from each individual app. The settings app is getting really cluttered

iOS 18.1.1 dictation and Siri stops working and the only way to reset it is a hard reboot, perhaps something with the cache file but I’ve had to hard reboot multiple times to fix it. Then it stops working at random points
Can you talk publicly for the blue haze issue with 30s night photos? I'm asking for 10th time and you are saying that you are reading the comments. Its everywhere and its serious. You are huge channel, so it will get more needed attention. People are complaining for the "background dim" effect, but problems like this are ignored completely.

Since updating to iPadOS 18.1.1, I am unable to scroll in Facebook using Safari. It’s jerky and all over the place. I hope that’s fixed with 18.2. Also can no longer answer phone calls on my M4 iPad like I used to be able to.
Image playground doesn’t do written sign very well . I prompted Happy Friday for a sign and the sign showed gibberish. A few simple signs did work after multiple tries like yes and yikes, but for the most part it is disappointing.

Bluetooth is kept cutting the connection and also hearing test is available in the uk. Watch batter percentage has been fixed. Also sometimes my camera is flickering between 3 cameras it seems like there is an issue with the beta versions i hope they can fix it😊
The Mail app is still not working properly. Don’t get no sounds no vibrations and occasional lock screen notification, but the badges are working now but the weird thing is when I put my phone on the charger then everything works properly. I don’t know it’s kind of weird.
Do you know how to get the data in iMessages on the iPad to stop going up? I'm not even using it and the data keeps going up. Does this happen to you? I noticed it after the iPadOS 18 update. It happened before on my first gen iPad mini. I hope the Mac isn't like this. I wish we could just delete the iMessage app.
Shorten the amount of backlog your phone keeps messages. If all messages remain indefinitely, the stored datawill continue to go up and you can't avoid that.
@ it’s on the iPad. I don’t use iMessages at all. It was turned off. I even logged out of it. It goes up and down with each iPadOS update, but stayed at whatever it was. Now it’s 7.7mb and it goes up to 7.8, 7.9 or 8mb, then it’ll go back to 7.7mb.

As a non-native English speaker, iOS 18 feels underwhelming. I hope Apple Intelligence supports multiple languages as soon as possible.

Because you don’t save documents in a photo album… if you want to scan a document, do it from the Files or the Notes apps.

I have 16 pro max and beta 3 battery life was awesome with AI but 4 is average at best no update finishing any settings may need switching off?

Just using Dark Mode and the dark app icons, nothing more than that

Are they ever going to fix stickers in iMessage? 15 pro max user and I have never been able to use stickers since switching to this phone
It’s been fixed for a couple versions however, if you still have that issue, Apple has a workaround to fix it. It’s in the release notes but basically you change your password to just a numeric password instead of an alpha numeric password then reboot and it should fix it.

touch issus are happening a lot for me and it seems o be related to the outer edges a lot. On curved edge models, it's more and bigger pain! check for typos or gibberish and its mostly iPhone.
18.1.1 seems to jam up my 16 pro max every now and again and regularly on my ipad iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (4th generation) which is really really glitchy. Sometimes settings just hangs / white screen … safari just jams up. Worst stability of any apple iOS release I’ve ever experienced.
same here. Also WiFi issues, hotspot, VPN (that I need for work, so I can't just turn it off), missing notifications... I thought 18 would be more stable than 17, but it seems like they have focused on other stuff instead.
I'm running IOS 18.1.1 on my iPhone 16 no battery problem the performance is really good and very smooth to use
I’m on 13 mini and I have no battery issues gets through all day no problem without heavy use. The only bug I’ve see so far is when starting a TH-cam video I’d double plays the first second of the video like a cd skip

Those who use iPhone 11 and have the iOS 18.2 beta 4, can you tell me how the cell phone is doing with that version of iOS, if it heats up a lot, the battery life, the performance and if it feels more fluid than the iOS 18.1

Only issue I'm facing is delayed notifications started on iOS 18 but got worse on iOS 18.1 (iOS 18.1.1 didn't fix it). Basically notifications are delayed for hours or calls from third party apps wouldn't go through if device is idle. Been seeing alot of post about it on Reddit and Apple Community, but from the looks of it Apple hasn't been able to fix it yet. I had been in contact with a specialist for two weeks now and all they can do is have me send logs or troubleshoot it, they still can't tell what's causing it.
iOS 18.1.1 is terrible on iPhone 16 pro max. iPhone apps don’t respond the photos app suddenly freezes, when on a phone call the battery drains drastically and gets really warm, widgets and apps won’t shift automatically some stay dark while others shift to day. Battery drains like 7% even when on standby. Apps not responding. Safari won’t and load and website/page properly plus notifications are delayed this is becoming frustrating to be honest come on apple you can do better than this.
I’m a new subscriber and I am on a iPhone 16 Pro Max and I’ve been having a problem with Face ID. It worked fine for about 3 weeks and then it stopped working so I went to the Apple Store after spending 2+ hours on the phone trying to get it fixed. We set up Face ID at the store and it worked fine but after I got home it stopped working again after two days so I spent a hour on the phone trying to reinstall Face ID and it didn’t work so I went back to the store and we setup Face ID again and it worked fine! We did test on the software and hardware and everything was fine! It has been working great since then but I’m just waiting to see if it does it again!
With the number of features that are on current iPhones it would really really be nice to be able to access app settings from each individual app. The settings app is getting really cluttered

So glad I’m not the only one noticing this ever since I updated to iOS 18.1.1 I am also seeing that dark line in the photos app also everytime when I take screenshots and screen record it doesn’t show up on all of my photos.
iOS 18.1.1 dictation and Siri stops working and the only way to reset it is a hard reboot, perhaps something with the cache file but I’ve had to hard reboot multiple times to fix it. Then it stops working at random points
Can you talk publicly for the blue haze issue with 30s night photos? I'm asking for 10th time and you are saying that you are reading the comments. Its everywhere and its serious. You are huge channel, so it will get more needed attention. People are complaining for the "background dim" effect, but problems like this are ignored completely.
My phone has it as well… nobody is talking about it which is sad…
I have talked about it before but don’t have it on any of my phones. Seems it could be hardware related.
@@zollotech The testing method is pretty specific. I doubt you don't have it at least on one of them. I'm seeing people which don't had, now are experiencing it too.

Since updating to iPadOS 18.1.1, I am unable to scroll in Facebook using Safari. It’s jerky and all over the place. I hope that’s fixed with 18.2. Also can no longer answer phone calls on my M4 iPad like I used to be able to.

Image playground doesn’t do written sign very well . I prompted Happy Friday for a sign and the sign showed gibberish. A few simple signs did work after multiple tries like yes and yikes, but for the most part it is disappointing.

I just upgraded from a 13 pro max to the 16 pro max and stickers is broken. It acts like it will add one but then disappears.

Bluetooth is kept cutting the connection and also hearing test is available in the uk. Watch batter percentage has been fixed. Also sometimes my camera is flickering between 3 cameras it seems like there is an issue with the beta versions i hope they can fix it😊

When u editing video and trying to reducing file size the size details on photo app not working. It stays at original video size
The Mail app is still not working properly. Don’t get no sounds no vibrations and occasional lock screen notification, but the badges are working now but the weird thing is when I put my phone on the charger then everything works properly. I don’t know it’s kind of weird.

Do you know how to get the data in iMessages on the iPad to stop going up? I'm not even using it and the data keeps going up. Does this happen to you? I noticed it after the iPadOS 18 update. It happened before on my first gen iPad mini. I hope the Mac isn't like this. I wish we could just delete the iMessage app.
Shorten the amount of backlog your phone keeps messages. If all messages remain indefinitely, the stored datawill continue to go up and you can't avoid that.
@ it’s on the iPad. I don’t use iMessages at all. It was turned off. I even logged out of it. It goes up and down with each iPadOS update, but stayed at whatever it was. Now it’s 7.7mb and it goes up to 7.8, 7.9 or 8mb, then it’ll go back to 7.7mb.
