Im so glad to see that someone wants to give lessons for people to learn how to embroid very nice may the Lord bless you
Best video on satin stitch I found!
Hands down one of the best videos I’ve seen on satin stitch 😊your instructions are really clear and it’s a pleasure to watch you teach. Thank- you very much for a really comprehensive video, I look forward to watching more 😉🙏🌷
Thank you so much, I really appreciate the feedback and so glad you found the video useful. I'm hoping to get a few more videos made this summer--it's been too long!
Best video ever on round satin stitch. I had a bunch of berries to embroider and they were all different shapes except round. After watching your video I ripped them all out and re did them. You speak very clearly and very specific instructions.
Not only this is a useful video, but it's also half a step away from being pure asmr
Thanks for explaining starting from the same direction and the twisting..best explanation and troubleshooting!
Thank you I have learnt lots xx
Good tips! Your video will help me create round eyes on my doll.
I'm so glad to hear it and wish you happy stitching!
Hi there, would you be able to show a tutorial on embroidering a doll eye using the satin stitch? Thank you. I love your tutorials.
I'll add it to my list! Thanks for the suggestion :)
I’m new to embroidery. What is the cloth you are using? It’s lovely.
Thanks! That was a super helpful video!
What is the stitch called around the border?
Do you need to use fabric stabiliser when embroidering the satin stitch on clothing like sweatshirts? Great tutorial ✨
Thank you and for sure--a stabilizer is great for whenever you're embroidering on a stretchy knit (sometimes called jersey) fabric as opposed to a woven fabric. It will help give structure and support so that your stitches don't get distorted when the fabric stretches.
KHG Arts what would happen if u didn’t use stabilizer?
Brilliant
I just can't fill large areas with satin stitch if you can help
Hello, for the second method, how would you recommend to start/end the stitch? Can I still use an away/waste knot? Since there is not much thread to catch the extra floss on the back of the fabric. Or I am okay with just a normal knot.
May i know the name of the thread that you are using???
Thanks so much. From your side of view Which way is more better?
Definitely depends on the situation for me--the shape being filled, how much thread I have available, what kind of effect I want to achieve. They can both be great for different circumstances :)
What kind of fabric is this?
How long do u guys think it would take to make 314 small satin circles?
2 years 8 months 21 days 6 hours 36 minutes and 43 seconds
Excellent! Thanks!
Brilliant Thank you
💖 Thank you sooooo much!
