The Mayflash adapter worls flawlessly in my experience. The controller has rumble and everything.
Unfortunately, you need a regular wii for the gba/gc link...
So, is it possible to transfer these game files to the USB hdd? I know after formatted through the wii u the hdd isn't usable on pc, correct?

Yeah after it’s formatted it’s only going to be able to be used through the Wii U exclusively and not the PC anymore. You’ll need another HDD or USB drive
I don't get why it's not working for me. I formatted my SD card to fat 32 but it keeps saying no fat device found.
My Nintendont is not working with my Usb flash drive. 32Gb.
Nintendont is installed correctly and the isos are also fine (Games are working with sd card with the same files)
Right folders and file names.
The Usb flash drive is on fat 32. I tried it with 32kb and 64kb clusters.
Nintendont is on the newest firmware.
Any ideas what else i can do except buying a new hard disk.?

I haven’t tried loading it on a flashdrive, I just ran it on a sd card and put game on the flashdrive.

Loading from an sd seems like the way to go, always get weird issues trying to get a usb to load. Would you recommend a 128 sd card to run all your GameCube games?
I definitely agree. Yes that is a perfect size in my opinion and that's what I use!

@@takashijames7760 that happen to me, the downloaded files of your gamecube game have to say .iso at the end of it. not sure if thats your issue. but i didnt have an iso file at first but now i do and it find the games after i got a iso file. hope that helps

When I do this it says it has trouble reading iso files from nand, I don’t want it to read from nand I want it to read from sd, it doesent even give me the option, it would be much abliged if you help me( I’m very new to modding this is my first project)

i tried making the games folder but the folder just auto capitalizes the "g" and its not working when im in nintendont
Hey quick question, all I have installed is aroma on the Wii u, so will these steps act the same way or do I need to do something too the Vwii also? I’m hoping I can add Nintendo t and games straight too the Wii u menu, I only use Wii for sports lol

What controller are you using to play the gamecube games? I heard not every third party wii u gamecube adapter works on Nintendont. Only Mayflash and the official one. Is that true?
I use the wii classic controller, not sure about the other third party ones

no it has to be on the root since the apps are different from the wii u folder (late ass reply lmao)

You can use the theme manager that we used in the aroma video to get the backup, but it's risky with bricking consoles. What apps don't work on aroma that you use?

I had this issue and i downloaded the files again and replaced in the SD card, worked Fine for me.

What if I wanted to load my gamecube and Wii games on a hard drive would I still make a games folder in the root of the sd card?
you would put the games folder on your hdd instead
For anyone this might help out and not make the same mistake I made. Do not buy the CIPON GameCube controllers as they do not work for Nintendont.

Use the mayflash adapter with cipon controllers cause it work pretty much good on it

@@funkyscott47 Solid 10 months late but I'm pretty sure they're asking which GameCube adapter (those adapters that let you use gcn controllers on the wii u) will work with Nintendont

A bit late to the party but I just started modding my Wii U and these guides have been a total lifesaver!! Only thing is all my gamecube games are in .ciso not .iso, will this still work or do I need some way to convert them? And if so, how?😅

Guys if you downloaded a game and it says ciso or iso, rename the game name to "game" then try

MLC is a part of the Wii u nand, so maybe try to download it to a USB drive instead

@@funkyscott47 I start Nintendont by starting the hbc first. Is their another way to start hbc. I just follow your video and do it just like you. The Nintendont emulator recognizes the Wii classic controller to let me select options and sd card and the games. When game loads it don't work then.

it did the same thing to me. it turns out that you gotta rename the .iso in the folder of the game to "game" and it should work
