  • A quick breakdown of what I spend my money on. Don’t get wrapped up in the name brand of items, but rather the quality of said item. When it comes to building or assembling rifles, please be aware of the bore axis and moving parts when building. Stationary parts are for comfort and visual appearance.

New sub people don't get it. You learn a lot also. Being a veteran helps as well, but you're making it YOUR OWN, and yes, it's Custom 👍🏾💪🏾Great videos

I have over the past 8 years or so tried several jigs. I like the 5D the best. Full agreement it pays to price shop parts before starting the build.

There are 3 jigs that I’ve seen that all have the same type of system. One is green and the other is red. This is still my favorite. I haven’t used the others and see no need to at this point.

@@PhDarien I have on by Range Tool and one whose brand name I forget, but I agree 5D seems to be the best.

No problem. I have seeing people pay more money for parts that don’t matter.

Thanks. The build process is therapeutic and ensures that you know all of the tolerances of your rifle.

First of your videos I have seen in a while. Not getting notified of your posts. I had to hunt you down. Glad to see you are still here!
What did you call the part you attach to your tripod? I would love to have one of those for when I am working up loads. That would take 'me' out of the equation when shooting for accuracy.
Thank you for speaking of American greed.

What BCG do you recommend ?

I prefer FAILZERO bolt carriers over others I have. My best overall is from Geissele, but not sure if it’s worth $365. I got it as compensation for helping someone build their rifle. It’s pretty good and has been tested full auto, easy to clean and looks great. I don’t see many shelling out $365 though. Can’t go wrong with anything that’s HP and MP tested though. 158 carpenter steel for the bolt.
