It’s kind of surprising AP doesn’t include a wrench for that barrel nut. I just got one of their Atlas rails with a proprietary barrel nut and it came with a special wrench head for it and has a bunch of cutouts for the gas tube and even a bunch of shims making it ridiculously easy to install. I’d be pissed if I were in your shoes too. Aero usually does a great job with their stuff for the money.
I picked up the Midwest Industries tool last year during black Friday. That Tru Glo looks pretty interesting. Will have to pick one up. Thanks for the video.
The shims for the barrel nut are required for that reason. I saved the extras as I know you likely did :D Never know when you might need one or the shim kits for muzzle devices. Cool vids brother.

I love their handguards so much, that I’m sure their wrench is solid as well.
