I've also been following these personalities for a very long time. They are genuinely decent politicians and we badly need these kinds of politicians in our system.

PIA was among the best Airlines and most profitable also. It downturn started when PPP govt hundreds of political appointment were made and management became helpless .This practice continued.
This was partly the reason, but PIA was successful when competition was limited and in the 1980s when new airlines started in the Middle East and Europeans invested in technology, PIA fell behind.

The number one issue in Pakistan is as to who will rule Pakistan the govt elected by the people or will the establishment rule Pakistan? without solving this basic issue we will keep spinning the wheels! Why does Miftah doesnt speak up against establishment?
