Today I decided to paint simple watercolor sweet pea flowers, this one is really easy and quick to paint. A while ago someone asked me to do simpler paintings again, because he/she has been finding it difficult to follow the more detailed paintings that I've been doing, so I hope this one is easy enough for the beginners out there and hope you guys enjoy! ^_^

I don't think I've seen them irl but my mum used to get soap with sweet pea fragrance, and I loved the scent, so I'll use that as reference haha

The flowers are simple but very beautiful is all I can say about this piece. I am a flower lover so I love flowers like this. The color of the flowers is just as beautiful and gentle as it is, I like the gentleness and full of charm of these flowers.

you keep using jaune brilliant..being a pink-i-phile i broke down and bought 1 & 2...sennelier is my brand but i have some daniel smith and now 3 holbein on the way, woulda been 4 but no shell pink in the small size.

Hi nianiani I was getting a free trial in skillshare to join your painting class.. the tutorial videos we very limited less than what I thought. I was hoping that I could find some of the landscape painting class I mean your beach painting there on skillshare but food illustration is what all I found .is this because I'm not a paid member on skillshare??? That I have a very limited video??? Or if I became a paid member do I have access to more tutorial video . thankyou I would love it if you clear this out for me .since I'm new to skillshare
Hi there! Skillshare is where I post most of my food illustrations. I don't have too many classes compared to youtube because the production takes around 2-3 weeks for a detailed class compared to the 3 days it takes to create my usual youtube tutorials. However, you have access to all the other classes by different artists on skillshare, ranging on a vast array of topics. If you like my landscape tutorials, you can find them all free on TH-cam :D:D hope this clear things out ^_^

Thank you! Sad to say that I'm unable to take suggestions at the moment, and my acrylic paintings tend to be very different in style, which takes up more time to create, so I'm not sure how to turn it into a tutorial >

Why do you splatter paint on your finished paintings ? They always look wonderful before you do this, and to me it spoils them, so why do it ? I really love your loose painting style, it's so relaxed, easy going and gentle, but I cannot comprehend why you do this.
that's all by taste, I find loose paintings look a bit more dynamic with splatters, but it's completely up to you. You can finish it off to your taste :) if you find it looks finished without it, then feel free to not add the splatters
